I was intrigued by the blurb right from the start, because it was really unique. I had no idea what to expect so I went in with an open mind. It was different and the writing style (second person POV/internal monologue) threw me off in the first quarter of the book. The chemistry between Domitian and Sarita was strong. She is his lifemate and watched her grow over the years. She is a cop and has no idea about their bond. A family issue puts Domitian and Sarita in the same place and they have to work together to solve a major issue with Dressler. This book has a lot of action, drama and different aspects to it.
