The Terminal List: A Thriller
The Terminal List: A Thriller

Review:Yeager sent me!!

I used to read constantly when I was younger. It probably has been 12 years since I've picked up a book and finished it. I just read the last pages of The Terminal List. What a great story! The attention to detail made it easy to picture what was happening. This book has made me get back into ready. Can't wait to watch this on the big screen, as it would be a shame if they didn't make this a movie.

Can't wait to read your next book Mr Carr. Read more

Covert Fae (A Spy Among the Fallen Book 1)
Covert Fae (A Spy Among the Fallen Book 1)

Review:This book seems to take place in the same universe as the Shadow’s and Flames Series (which is one of my favorite). I love how seamless everyone of C.N. Crawfords books are since there are two authors. C.N. is a husband and wife duo that blows me away with every book. Ruby is a full on badass that isn’t afraid to kick ass when needed. While she has some issues, the world basically ended, who can blame her, she still has the ability to overcome them. I love all of the supporting characters an... Read more

Magical Mayhem Trilogy Book 2) - Natural Mage (DDVN World
Magical Mayhem Trilogy Book 2) - Natural Mage (DDVN World

Review:Wow! Just wow! Magic, mayhem, and gut-bustingly hilarious hijinks abound in this 2nd book in the Magical Mayhem series. K. F. Breene has hit another home run with this one! She pulls you into the storyline right from the first chapter, and never lets go. I couldn't put it down. Join Penny, Emery, Callie and Dizzy, and Reagan in this fast-paced, action-filled, continuation of Penny's journey to grow into her magical potential.

I received an ARC of the book, and I'm voluntarily stating my h... Read more

Books 1-5 - The Phantom of the Earth - An Epic Sci-Fi Saga
Books 1-5 - The Phantom of the Earth - An Epic Sci-Fi Saga

Review:The Phantom of the Earth Omnibus Edition includes 5 books which are The Song of the Jubilee, The Gambit with Perfection, The Synthesis and the Animus, The Descent into the Maelstrom, and The Restoration of Flaws. I must say that this series is a longer read, but it is definitely worth it in the end.

The two main stories follow Johann and Broden. Broken is desperately trying to find a cure to the virus that has overtaken Earth, therefore leaving the land uninhabitable forcing all humans to... Read more

Lisey's Story: A Novel
Lisey's Story: A Novel

Review:There were moments when I enjoyed this: King's peek into the complexity of relationships, his vivid descriptions of pain and loss, and his idea of a fantasy world where some of us - maybe all of us, particularly the creative - go when we can't deal with reality.

In this (as well as his more recent novels), he's truly honed the ability to delve deep into close relationships - and get at the core of what it is to be human. I relished in those moments: father and son, sister and sister, husb... Read more

Black Spark (Dark Magic Enforcer Book 1)
Black Spark (Dark Magic Enforcer Book 1)

Review:I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters are interesting and believable, the story is engaging and well-paced, the wiring is detailed and rich with imagery, and the action is fun and makes the book hard to put down.

I was surprised at some of the other reviews Thay said that the dialog was tortured or the wiring was redundant. I didn't find it so at all. Some of the metaphors are interestingly-chosen, but for me that made it fresh and fun. The author is not afraid to poke some fun a... Read more
