Review:Keri Arthur has brought a new series to the genre - We meet Riley and Rhoan Jenson, employees of the Directorate of Other Races - twins who are half werewolf and half vampire - in a quest to find missing field agents, and to find who is trying to perfect cloning by experimenting on the missing - The book is filled with powerful characters, including a gorgeous ancient vampire, Quinn, who joins in the quest to find a friend who is so old that he participated in the original Olympics! The cast of ... Read more
Review:The characters were so believable and well-developed. I found myself thinking about them as if I knew them. The plot twists kept me engaged and there were surprise developments at every turn. A great read. Can't wait to read more of Butler's works! Read more
Review:Just finished the published version after receiving this for Christmas. Richard Phillips continues his prequel to his excellent Rho trilogy and lays the groundwork for his next instalment in his brilliant series. Thoroughly entertaining and a wonderful companion to his other books. I can't wait to see where he goes with this next. Read more

Review:This may be the slowest "thriller" ever written. There is not one surprise! It's a soap opera burdened with "Columbo" characters. It reads you to sleep in mid afternoon!
If you like his "Prey" novels....stop there.
Every character is a cliche. Writing a political thriller is tricky business--like never let the reader get ahead of the lead character. This never happens here. One can see the next "turn" in every chapter. It's telegraphed.
I suggest a Lee Child, Charles McCaare... Read more
Review:My next read will definitely be this author's first novel. I was so impressed with not only how well written this story is, but also with how Mr. Galacar brought his characters to life. He wove a frightening tale of unpredictable suspense which I had difficulty putting aside even for a moment until I reached the end. Read more
Review:Chose this because I thought so highly of "The Art of Racing in the Rain". His writing style is engaging, but I found this story to be strange and rather disconcerting - not at all what I expected and would not recommend as a "good read" to others. Read more
Review:This book began with a catchy beginning and got me hooked. But after a while I got bored with the going back and forth into the main characters pasts. I am a reader that likes to move forward in a story and see developments taking place. Not a lot happened although there were a few twists during the story that I didn't expect. But the big reveal was one I had thought about at the beginning because there were a few subtle clues in the writing. There was a lot of action near the end but the ... Read more
Review:Bobby Akart’s new book immediately takes hold and never gives you a second to relax. Get ready for a ride -from the rodeo in South Dakota, to the ranchlands of Texas, then the venerable buildings of DC, and over to the terrorists countries across the ocean.
There is a great mix of teachable moments along with action that really never stops. Bobby Akart again has made a family, the Armstrongs, into a part of yours. And so typical of Bobby Akart, the sense of freedom rings throughout.... Read more
Review:Finishing this book broke my heart!! I wanted it to go on and on! I have read thousands of books, but this one really touched me. I could feel the emotions with the characters it was so well written. Having the cubs play such a big role just made this book better. Jennifer Ashley is an awesome author, who gets better with every book she creates. Read more
