Paranormal
Review:Plot: Cat (newly turned vamp/ghost whisperer) and Bones, her husband (vamp extraordinaire) have been contacted and asked to stop a vicious ghost, who can take solid form once a year just to kill. The loving couple works together, with some help from some friends, to bring a serial killer to justice.
Positives: A vampire who temporarily has the ability to see and interact with ghosts was promising. Off hand, I don't remember reading a book where the supernatural/paranormal entities co-exis... Read more
Review:Normally this is not my genre. I have decided that I need to branch out and stop just thinking in action adventure and mystery.
This was a fun read. Moved along with good pace and kept me involved all the way through.
Keep it up Kate, I am looking forward to the next one. Read more
Review:I love the Kate Daniels series, so didn't much think I'd enjoy the story about the villain. Now former villain. But the same fast paced action interspersed with clever humor meant I could not put the book down. Excellent story that blends seamlessly into the Kate Daniels world. Read more
Review:This book really kept my interest all the way through. I stayed up all night long reading. It is now 8am. The ending made me want to cry like a Mashed Cat! Why Sara, why! I'm hoping it will not be so when I start the next book. (Can't explain what I'm talking about without giving away spoilers). Just know that it doesn't end with a cliffhanger. The characters make you love them one minute and hate them the next. For those of you who haven't read the first two series that go with this book, don't... Read more
Review:What an amazing start to this series! Depth, humor, a little romance and an amazing cast of characters. Nora has been through hell and back but has come out the other side as a tough but caring person. Please tell me I don't have to wait too long for the next book in this series!!! Read more
Review:A new twist on supernaturals in a modern world, with all the mysterious unknown that comes with myths, legends, n quiet whispers of secrets that everyone knew but always claimed were rumours of crazy skeletons in the family closet....leaves questions to be answered n explanations to be given!
Can't wait to read the next book!! Read more
Review:Finally, Torin, finds happiness and a woman that's just as awesome as him. Great story, good plot line; you really get to know the characters and feel for them. They make me laughed, cried, and didn't want to put it down. I would recommend this book to anyone; who wants to read an awesome book. Read more
Review:I love the Atlantis series! I was a bit worried that due to the nature of the nymphs I was not going to like this one, but was very pleasantly surprised. The herione was not falling over herself for the hero which was nice. Although I do think her self proclaiming "bi*^^hiness" was a bit over done. I was through with her ice woman persona about 50 pages into the book. Read more
Review:I really looked forward to this series. So much so that I bought all three books. And while I did finish the first book and will read the next two, the first one left me a little...blah. I just didn't connect with the characters. I didn't understand what motivated them. Some things didn't make sense. I don't know. Maybe I was spoiled by the tormented warriors who were possesed by demons in her first series. I remember standing in the bookstore, reading the first page of the first book of... Read more
Review:This is the second series that I've read by Pippa DaCosta and I was not disappointed in the least. As with other reviews, I won't go into the plot of the book as you can find that elsewhere.
One of the things that Pippa DaCosta does magnificently is develop her characters and ensure that the choices they make are realistic and not forced. I can't tell you how much I hate a book where in order to further the plot, an author forces a choice (or lack thereof) that is completely out of charac... Read more
