Review:First Date: Okay, this could be a really hot date! I enjoyed the introduction to this new world of Chloe Neill’s, filled with fae and plenty of other paranormal critters, and set in the sultry city of New Orleans. While it wasn’t the fastest-paced beginning (hey, not a bad thing when it goes slow at the beginning. Anticipation is all part of the tease.), I really got into Claire’s life in a post-apocalyptic New Orleans. It wasn’t as hard-hitting a beginning as the Chicagoland Vamp series (hard t... Read more
Review:Each book gets better and better. The energy between Ethan and Merit get stronger, more intense, it makes you want to keep going and going and going. The only problem is the book ends before the energy wariness.. Read more
Review:Whenever I see that a book is in first person POV I get a little anxious because I absolutely hate or more like strongly dislike this POV. I have found that most, if not all, Urban Fantasy books are in first person and that I love the stories. There is so much going on the life if the main character and said character is oft times so mature that I don’t mind been in just their mind.
This is one of those times. Merit is a geeky grad student that has been changed into a vampire after an a... Read more
Review:I am sorry but the grammatical errors were hard to ignore. Whoever did the editing needs to be fired and i want a refund. I couldn't enjoy or finish the first book because I found myself correcting the mistakes while reading. I am not sure if the series is any good. I'm annoyed that I even paid for this. Read more
Review:I have to start out this review by explaining exactly what a three star rating means. It means I liked this book. I LIKED it. I do not give this rating as a negative rating. I don't really have that many negative things to say about this story. I did like it. I just didn't love it. And for a Chicagoland Vampire story I normally feel quite a bit more love for the story. Still, I have no regrets for buying and reading this story. It is an entertaining one.
The things I liked in this book:
Review:This being the fourth in the series I kind of knew the books read a little slow at times and there's never a lot of action. My main reason for reading this was to see if she and Ethan finally worked anything out.
**spoiler alert**
So needless to say I was very disappointed when out of nowhere and in the blink of an eye - he gets staked! Really? And then it was oh so easy for her to stake the vampire that staked Ethan.. this all so powerful female vamp that she feared so much? I... Read more
Review:Although this story was short, it still had everything you'd come to expect from a Chicagoland Vampires story. Merit is still smart and feisty and Ethan is still very much a HOT, sexy Master vampire. While on vacation, they are once again pressed into service to help solve a murder. To add to the fun, you get Gabriel and some of his pack members thrown into the mix. If you love the Chicagoland Vampires series, you'll want to read this story as well. Read more
Review:Seriously, I'd pay to read anything written by Ms. Dark. I'd read her grocery list, her honey-do list, heck is read the heck out of a dear john letter. I just love her. This is another great follow up to Gaslight. I can't wait for the next book. Great job as always Ms. Dark! Read more

Disclaimer: This review is not going to contain any spoilers for Blade Bound but it could spoil earlier books in the series.
It's really hard to review the last book in such a long and epic series. To be honest, it still hasn't sunk in that there will be no more Ethan and Merit books after this one. I can't believe the series is over. I feel like we've come a long ways with the characters... Read more
