Paranormal
Review:This book should not have been published. I read the first book in the series, Slave to Sensation, and it was interesting. However, this book is a waste of time. It is pretty much the first book re-written with different character names. There is no development from the first book to the second. It was so boring that I only read a third of the book and couldn't even stomach the rest. I definitely do not recommend this book - even if someone gives it to you for free! Read more
Review:I love this series because the next book is better than the previous one. The development of the characters keep the interest of the reader and never disappointed with the information learned about them. I can't wait for the next book to see how Christian and Ravens relationship will grow closer . Read more
Review:I absolutely love to read Christine Feehan's Dark Series. Dark Promises does not disappoint! What is so beautiful to me is the passion between a strong man and a strong woman and the way Ms. Feehan weaves their strengths and weakness where together they are better than they are alone! Review:Christine Feehan's Carpathian world is deeply and yet darkly romantic. The arrogance aside, her characters have deep emotions and struggle to do what's right. Without any spoilers... this book hits its mark and is romantic and suspenseful. Read more
Review:I love Christine Feehan and have almost all her books. I was looking forward to this book and as soon as it came I put everything aside and started reading it. This was not all about sex although it was in it but it did have a lot of action, which was great. I liked seeing Alonzo and Evangeline's relationship slowly come together. Evangeline seemed so quiet and shy in the beginning but boy did she come out of her shell and then Alonzo could not hold her down to protect her. I loved how she ... Read more
Review:Pre-ordered and looked forward to it as I've read all the dark series several times over. This one is sluggish and just not up to the standard of the others. I usually finish one of her books in a single sitting. Been working on this one for days and keep waiting for something to happen. I'll think twice before I pay full price for any new books of hers. Review:This was the first book by Christine Feehan I have ever read and I bought it solely based on the reviews. It was barely an ok book and my biggest gripe with it was the 'french' that made me cringe every time it came up. It's not even 'France-french' as one reviewer put it-I speak France french having been born in a french-speaking country with french as my second language. Nobody I know-French or French speaking-uses the phrases Gator uses. The curses were ridiculous and the supposed endearments... Read more
Review:The fact that Sasha got ‘naughty’ with Giovanni so quickly was a letdown. A little bit of a chase is way more interesting, and I got so bored with almost whole chapters of sex scenes I found myself flipping through them, which made the book very short. Less is more Ms. Feehan if you want your books to actually have a plot. I found myself dreading G and S getting home because I knew it would be almost word for word a repeat of the previous multitude of crude sex scenes. I also wonder why her s... Read more
Review:The ghost walker series is very passionate and packed with the kind of action that every reader will enjoy, the reader will have a hard time putting these books down until they have read the entire series...action, sex, and romance....what's not to like. Read more
Review:The premise of the Carpathian books still makes all of these books worth reading. You're promised an angsty, hurting male and a lifemate to comfort away all his pain. I love the Carpathian books for that alone. This book does not fail to deliver on that. But the series does still suffer from some repetitive tendencies, particularly a few repetitive words over and over again. And the sexism in the books is enough to really annoy me.
This book brought in some refreshing differences from boo... Read more
