Legacy (The Four Horsemen Series Book 1) - The Four Horsemen
Legacy (The Four Horsemen Series Book 1) - The Four Horsemen

Review:This book was amazing. The gripping start to an interesting story. This story of the four horsemen is completely different to the one's written. The characters make this story come to life. Verity makes the story seem real. This book is awesome and a definite read. Read more

Olympian Challenger
Olympian Challenger

Review:Mix Percy Jackson with the Hunger Games and a dash of Twilight, and you get the Olympian Challenger. This is a terrific YA Greek Fantasy book that's entertaining for adults too.

The narrator of the audiobook does a nice job, but she pauses between sentences a bit too often which makes her narration choppy at times.

I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest and voluntary review. Read more

Sufficiently Advanced Magic (Arcane Ascension Book 1)
Sufficiently Advanced Magic (Arcane Ascension Book 1)

Review:Sufficiently Advanced Magic seems to me to strike a vector between traditional fantasy and LitRPG with something more like traditional computer RPGs being the inspiration rather than MMOs. For me, I think what weaknesses the book has come from the video game inspired elements and leaving those out would have left more room to develop the characters, the intrigues, etc. I would easily trade any of the pages of, "Let's plan our strategy" for more insight into the world or the characters.

Blackflame (Cradle Book 3)
Blackflame (Cradle Book 3)

Review:The continued presence of Jai Long as a POV character, the continued growth of Wei Shi Lindon, and the very welcome worldbuilding keep this book as interesting as it's predecessors - if not more so. I haven't even mentioned the action! I can't wait to see what Will delivers us next. Read more

Unsouled (Cradle Book 1)

Review:Once again Will Wight has managed to provide a fresh innovative fanatasy novel. Unsouled is a captivating novel that manages to provide an edge of your seat fast paced story within the massive mysterious world Will has created.

I found myself unable to put the novel down after only a couple of chapters and finished the entire novel in under 48 hours. It was a refreshing change from most fantasy tomes due to the length and pacing, but will ultimately leaving you wanting more form the brill... Read more

Feet of Clay: A Novel of Discworld
Feet of Clay: A Novel of Discworld

Review:It is interesting to see how golems evolve from Pratchett's Discworld novel, "Feet of Clay" (1996), where they are speechless slaves of clay, to "Going Postal" (2004) where a well-educated but humorless golem serves as body guard and lecturer-in-morals to the new Post Master. This is where it all begins...
