Review:Book was in great quality, however, I do not suggest this for people who are clumsy. I personally have been destroying this book due to the pages being loose leaf. Even though I have it set up in a large binder, I have been ripping pages out left and right by simply leaning on it. Read more
Review:The first three chapters alone are well worth the price. Dive in with an open mind. I usual wince when authors are out to save the world (the last statement in Chapter 1 is "The healing of ourselves, of each other, of our children, and of society begins one bond at a time.") but I put that aside and really was moved by the view the author gives.
I put "Noticing" (pg 31) to the test immediately, and was amazed at the reaction from my 2 year-old (a recent adoptive placement) as well as a ... Read more
Review:As a behavioral psychologist, I found this book interesting from an historical perspective. Although there is little hard research in what was discussed, the fact that the problems of love and aggression still plague us is undeniable. For this historical discussion, this book is most valuable. Read more
Review:This book is easy to read, not boring.
Some points of view are questionable and don't really help in one individual life
it doesn't have any new ideas that you can catch and use when you have a difficult situation.
Ideas from the other books help more. I think that book "Passionate marriage" by David Schnarch, or "Passionista" by Ian Kerner are more helpful and useful.

Review:Am using the 8th edition of this textbook, although my college instructor specified the latest 9th edition. So far, after 4 weeks into the semester, I've been keeping up with the class with no problems. And, I paid 90% less for this book, and am not starving for the rest of the month, as my fellow students are.
Maybe I'll skip the economics courses. Read more
Review:I bought this book for my sister who is preparing for surgery because I thought it would be an excellent book to help her prepare. I decided to check it out myself after receiving it. My biggest issue, which for some may not be an issue at all, is that the book is super slim. It's tiny! Both my sister and I are big into highlighting, underlining, and making notes. The size of this book it would be impossible to make notes and if you started highlighting and underlining it would soon look like a ... Read more
Review:His work is great - the irrationality was my first now i get all of his stuff.
Any social observer would love the common sense and practical findings he describes. A real tour of human behavior. Read more
Review:Dan Ariely has done it again! A fascinating book that will make you think and see the world differently! Highly recommend the book - especially if you like social sciences and behavioural economics :) Read more
Review:Much of this material is available elsewhere, but never in such an engaging style. Well-written, always on topic, full of intruiging research, and easy to digest, Sway is hard to put down. It's a quick read that makes you think. Read more
Review:The book helped to put structure to everyday analysis. Often I would do one or two of the methods in the book but not with a strong focus on my process. I think in the end, I will now approach problems with a consistent level of rigor. Read more
