An Epic History of Guerrilla Warfare from Ancient Times to the Present
An Epic History of Guerrilla Warfare from Ancient Times to the Present

Review:Worth your time. A relatively quick read with some broad lessons without being preachy. The only thing I did not like was the lack of detailed depth, but then again, this book was not set up to be like that. Read more

Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible - The Surreal Heart of the New Russia
Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible - The Surreal Heart of the New Russia

Review:Lots of really interesting content, but doesn't really draw it together into anything conclusive. Seemed like it was setting up for a central critique on Russia's modern propaganda but then pulls its punches at the end. Maybe it's meant for you to come to your own conclusions...but the way the book was going, it seemed like there would be one last hard-hitting chapter that summed up how all these different sub-stories were part of the larger Kremlin strategy.

I was still sucked in to the ... Read more

Dubliners (Dover Thrift Editions)

Review:James Joyce is truly a brilliant writer. I liked all the nine stories included in Dubliners, but enjoyed some more than others. The last story included in Dubliners: The Dead was particularly haunting and beautiful. Read more

The True Story of an Israeli Counter-Terrorist Team
The True Story of an Israeli Counter-Terrorist Team

Review:As some of the previous readers have stated, this is a great read on counter terrorism. Those Palestinians who had a role in the Olympic murders are dealt with by a professional hit squad sent out from Israel. Jonas makes the reader know who he is supporting, Avner and his four buddies assigned to track down eleven people who had a hand in the Munich murders.
I don't know if you can believe everything in this book. Jonas in his introduction and footnotes, states that some things were just ... Read more

Growing Up in the Nuclear Shadow of Rocky Flats - Full Body Burden
Growing Up in the Nuclear Shadow of Rocky Flats - Full Body Burden

Review:An important book about a significant event with long lasting impact on Colorado and America. In a very readable and personal fashion, the author relates her experience and the long lasting effects of America's experience with developing nuclear weapons on the residents and the land in Rocky Mountain Flats in Colorado. A very readable and ultimately heart breaking telling of a lack of government accountability. Read more

Armageddon and Prophecies of the Return (Earth Chronicles)
Armageddon and Prophecies of the Return (Earth Chronicles)

Review:The information (too detailed some times)lets you know the origin of many ideas by which we live today...where fundamental texts as the Bible come from. THIS ALLOWS ME to choose: let the past shape the present or empower and escape from the ideas that capture the eternal present..... the only moment that exists..... Read more

The Final Battle for the Mediterranean, 1521-1580

The Classic Bestselling Account of the Sinking of the Titanic
The Classic Bestselling Account of the Sinking of the Titanic

Review:We only know that it happened a hundred years ago. So many lived and so many did not. A Night to Remember gives us the realization that those on board were not "numbers" but people who did exist. They had feelings, concerns and courage.
Now stop and try to put yourself in their shoes. Read more

The Most Dangerous Book in the World - 9/11 as Mass Ritual
The Most Dangerous Book in the World - 9/11 as Mass Ritual

Review:Most people are totally unaware of anything outside our three dimensional realm. They go about their daily lives thinking in 3-D and only 3-D.

What is called magick, and many people laugh when you bring up that word, think of it as hocus pocus, bogus, something only children believe in.

Than I ask you all to consider, why do the very top elite of the planet go to Bohemian Grove every mid July for two weeks with security so tight it even encompasses the air space above?

Don'... Read more
