Review:This book is consistently quotable. In every chapter there’s an anecdote or a quote that is fun and lively and useful in other contexts. The author has a ton of public speaking experience and is willing to share it with the reader in a pleasant and entertaining way.
Though you won’t get much help with the content of a speech per say, you will get help with crafting the message and your delivery. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get better at public speaking. Read more
Review:Should be required reading for anyone talking or thinking about Big Data and how it's used. This will be the first of many to make more sense of it than has been to date. It's fine to say don't start into big data efforts just for the sake of mountains of data, but have an objective, but most people haven't a clue how to begin to figure out what those objectives might be. This will help, but the future holds more ideas I'm sure. Still is nods toward the power and value of big data analyses that ... Read more
Review:This is a great library addition, where one can dive in and find a topic which relates to a current problem.
The pieces on strategy are great and timeless.
Some of the other pieces can feel dated or too generic, such as the article on data analytics. Read more

Review:Both The Go-Givers and the Go-Givers Sell More, as simple as they are, made a very big impact on me. Easy reads. Can't put them down. Perfect timing for starting a new year, and planning to grow our businesses. Read more
Review:My review is of the six cassette version. This is definately one of the classics for audio sales training and it has held up over the years because overall it is very good. I spend a lot of time on the road and have listened to pretty much all the programs. Everyone needs to find their own style and there are many other great ideas out there but you will certainly find a very good foundation in these cassettes. One of the things I personally liked about these cassettes is that Brian Tracy sound... Read more
Review:I grew up very financially poor. Being poor was a major motivator to my parents whom were always very entrepreneurial minded - always trying to think of what they might be able to produce, invent, resale, etc… to try to better our financial situation. One of the common concepts was the idea of the "American Dream" - that anyone can do practically anything if they really put their mind to it, work hard, and think big. Following the idea that you can move from poor to rich based on your own action... Read more
Review:Disappointing. I was hoping for more insights, tips and anecdotes. What I got was a lot of self aggrandizement. He spent a lot of time telling us how accomplished he is and nothing much about how he did it. Kind of like his presidential bid. A lot of talk about what he would like to do but nothing on how he will accomplish it. Read more
Review:First off, I listened to the audio version. I liked it a lot, he gave a good mix of practical advice and inspiration. Usually I group books like this into self-help, practical advice or motivational, abstract advice. I would say it lay more on the latter side, with Trump telling lots of general tips on success and some of the strategies he has used to achieve his status. He includes a section where he talks at length about a week in the life of Trump, where he goes into nitty gritty details ... Read more
Review:Six Sigma can at times seem so confusing no matter who's writing about it. The Phd's have been able to make something that needs to be simplified, very complex. The book deals with the subject matter very well. However, if you don't use it you will lose it very quickly. Read more
