Review:I liked the information, it was an easy read, and it gave practical advice that could be implemented almost immediately. It goes right along side other system-building and productivity books.
I DIDN'T like in the kindle edition that every time the word "service" came up, it was broken up into two words ("ser vice"). And it was in there a lot. Read more
Review:Schmidt makes speculations about the future that aren't based on any scientific basis. The speculations aren't even original, like 3D holograms. I didn't find any thought-provoking ideas or exciting insights into the future of technology. The authors also seem to keep pushing the idea that technology makes our lives better and it comes off as highly biased and sometimes like a sales pitch. Read more

We documented a number of their stories in The Decoded Company, though the deeper background here is very welcome. Read more
Review:I bought this book to replace one my son damaged. It arrived in excellent condition. If you haven't read it, it is an interesting read. It sheds a unique perspective on global warming, the economics of prostitution and even suicide bombers. Read more
Review:Most of the comments expressing disappointment here have to do with content. I bought the CD audio version and I am actually okay with the content. It's good not great, but certainly sufficient to hold my interest.
My disappointment relates to the poor enunciation of one of the reader / authors, Professor Steven D. Levitt. He is obviously an intelligent, insightful man but the CD suffers because he does not enunciate well. His speaking volume declines drastically at the end of senten... Read more
