Christian Living
Review:Easy to read and well explained.
I wish this could be required foundational reading to all new Christians! It would benefit new believers tremendously once they know this truth.
But even as a mature Christian, this could be foundation-rebuilding or solidify what we all should know. Read more
Review:I borrowed that book from the local library and after the third chapter I decided to buy it . Very good advices for women, and how to manage your life without being controled with your emotions either with irritating people, being stuck in trafic jam or anything coming on you path. Read more
Review:My first book by this author was Jesus Calling.....I had just been diagnosed with cancer and a friend sent it to me.....Oh my goodness, this little book got me through the hardest part....Thank you Lord! Review:Packed with what appears to be researched info. Not an easy read but worth it.
Does a great job of supporting a very plausible scenario for the fulfillment of end time
prophesy. Definitely makes one think. Read more
Review:I was so pleased with this book. I especially liked the scripture references throughout the book. I thank Mr. Houge for being a willing vessel for Christ, he had truly blessed my spirit with this one. I am now starting on another book he had written 'Choosing Words that Heal' and I'm sure it will be just as good. Read more
Review:This book needs to come with a notice: For people who own smart phones and use Twitter. For folks with this technology, this book will encourage a closer walk with God. Review:Raw? YES. Beautiful? Absolutely, YES. Jamie does us no favor by allowing us to excuse or disregard our struggles and our sin, instead she gives us the gift of pointing us to Christ’s redemption! Through Jamie’s stories and deep insights, Jesus remains the theme. “Jesus is better” and I’m so grateful for this bold call to believe, accept and live daily as though He is! Don’t think twice, get a copy now! ...I mean, I highlighted half the book?! Thank you Jamie Ivey for your courage for the sweet ... Read more
Review:I'm desperate to improve my marriage and this book looked well-reviewed and seemingly solid at first glance. The caveat to my review is that I'm only half way done with the book AND I've yet to attempt it's methodologies (just got it today).
Here are my objective observations thus far:
1) VERY Christian-based. I guess I'm ok with that, but we'll see how that bears out.
2) VERY traditional/old school regarding sex roles. I guess I'm just a sensitive new-age guy, but I cook, I ... Read more
