Review:This book is about the Great Gold robbery of 1855. In 1854 a man named Edward Pierce who is a master thief hatches a plan to steal a shipment of gold being transported from London to the Crimean War front. Crichton takes you through Pierces thought process and the obstacles he faces on his way. Review:Great tour through an earlier time in New Orleans. The characters were believable and created a connection... truly making you want to know what happens to them.
