Review:Interesting book about 60's studio musicians, The Wrecking Crew, in LA making hits for many groups. Had a chance to take Bass lessons from Carol Kaye, what a great and talented lady! Glad all these studio musicians are finally getting some credit for all the hits they created and the music that touched so many people's lives. Read more
Review:This book is a poorly written piece. It is nothing more than a promotion for the singer. There is no "humanity" in the biography: instead of feeling like I was getting to know the avoidant singer, I was given a sales pitch for an entertainer. I learned some things, but overall, I did not like the book. Read more

I look at it as the "key" was in the slot but he bust the door down at times and it works because "they" didnt want him in. #Majorkey Read more
Review:I thought this book would be more interesting, but it was nothing I haven't heard before. The author keeps repeating how "blunt" she is but I've seen/heard better. I think this book is advice on how to trap a man, not how to meet one and keep them. I felt that the author tried too hard to be this "author that keeps it real."
I think that her advice on being honest is great advice, because I believe it's easier to tell the truth and maybe hurt someone for a little bit, than to lie and get cau... Read more
Review:My son is a beginner (just started this past summer) but learns very quickly. He wanted to learn to play songs like Fur Elise and others but I didn't want him having versions that were too easy because I feel that you won't get better if you're not challenged. This book is a little bit more advanced than where he's at but he's enjoying at least learning the right hand. It'll be a great book for him to grow into and play out of for a couple of years. He's already improving significantly! I used... Read more
