I just love the stories Lucinda Jordan writes. From the first page, this book called me in and at the end left me wanting more. This is a short story and boy is it steamy. Love many of the scenes in this book. I have read 50 Shades of Grey and the Crossfire series and let me tell you, the scenes in those books are nothing compared to this book. The only down side is the grammatical errors throughout the book. However, I was able to read over them and I didn’t let it stop me. If you are looking for a steamy erotica book, I recommend any stories written by Lucinda Jordan.

Whipped to perfection. Lucia Jordan does it again. Avery is smart, young, and beautiful. Burke is sexy, rich and obsessed with Avery. He's waited years to have her. ...But life always gets in the way. After spending a hot steamy night together, jealousy and spite rear it's ugly head. Can't wait to see where their story takes them.

Lucia Jordan did a great job on this novella. It gave a nice background on Avery and why she is not as experienced with men as other women her age. I also enjoyed the twists with Burke and why he felt compelled to find Avery. Will Avery overcome her insecurities? How will she react to finding out Burke and her have a shared history? I definitely would like to find out.

Let's just say that this author is phenomenal! She reels you in slowly and leaves you wanting. I have read many of her books and this one is no different. The story is really great. It drew me in on an emotional level and I NEED to know how it ends. I highly recommend.

The book was a very easy read. Something I couldn't put down. There were a few spelling mistakes, but they were minor. I think Avery was a little too willing to bed someone the first day she meets them, especially in the relationship Burke is looking for. Maybe if there was a little bit more into what Avery was thinking, it could be more believable. Im really looking forward to reading on.
