really enjoyable, information about women either I hadn't heard of or additional information about those I had heard of. Great book, and strange the as I am reading it, I have run into discussions about the women from other unrelated sources, so an opportunity to discuss the details further

Enjoyed this book and as well as learning about some women I had never heard of. Some of the women had interesting takes on Christianity, but nonetheless loved God and have something to teach each of us.

Such an inspiring and at the same time challenging read. Eric Metaxas is a brilliant biographer. He introduces us to those great people of character and faith in almost tangible way, like a 3D effect.

Most of these biographical accounts are instructive and deeply moving. Several fall a bit short of this estimation, but only because of not being as rich in the personal details of their subjects' personal struggles. The stories of Susannah Wesley, Hannah More, the ten Boom family, and Mother Teresa seemed to be especially worthwhile.

I thoroughly enjoy Metaxas' writing. Although this book covered the subjects less extensively than full scale biographies might, he brings history to life by sharing the highs and lows of each woman's life in a most interesting way.

Eleganlty written, immensely readable account of women who fought hard and sacrificed for their families and their faith. A great inspirational gift for a wife, daughter, granddaughter. Here's my published review: https://stream.org/seven-women-lady-saints-wont-make-gag/

Learned about some amazingly heroic people, new info about Joan of Arc and Rosa Parks. Loved the chapters that dealt with women I' d never heard of from long ago, one who worked with Wilberforce to end slavery in Great Britain, and woman who was canonized by the orthodox church.
