After accidentally buying the prequel to The Enemy, called The Dead, I figured I'd better read this one first before diving into the next book. I am an avid reader and enjoyed the novel. It was well written, disgustingly graphic, and had an intriguing storyline that'll keep you reading. Recommended for young adults with a passion for sci-fiction.

I bought this for my daughter since you could not find it in store. She says that The Enemy is her favorite series and is a must read if you like post apocalyptic, gory, edge of your seat books. Overall, a very good read, recommended.

This is an incredible book. The plight of the children in this novel opened me up to the rest of the series. If you like to follow a story of children in survival mode because adults have fallen ill (zombie), this is a great read! I look forward to reading the rest of these books.
Breaking Free from the Four Emotions That Control You :: The Poisoner's Enemy (a Kingfountain prequel) (The Kingfountain Series) :: Survivors #2: A Hidden Enemy :: DANCE WITH THE ENEMY a gripping thriller full of suspense and twists (Enemy series Book 1) :: Against All Enemies (A Jonathan Grave Thriller Book 7)

Good book a little predictable but I liked it. Good book for entertainment. It defiantly intrigued me. I like how it has different perspectives from everyone not just one person's thoughts but multiple persons ideas thoughts and actions.

Amazing. Higson is an amazing writer. This is by far my most favorite series I have ever read. This book mixes the fight for survival, battles between kids, plus ZOMBIES!! I was on my toes on every page wondering what would happen next. Keep it up Charlie, your amazing.

This nail gnashing book will keep you on the edge of your seat. You never know when and what something will happen. And, unlike any other book, the main characters at any point may or may not die. You never know.

This book was outside my normal reading genre, but overall it kept me interested. I do have to say I was disappointed in the ending though. At some points the book seemed to go on and on, but then it just kind of ended and left you going, huh? What just happened

It was a really interesting book especially with the fact that it takes place before the first book I n the series. It even more epic when the characters from the first book meet up with the new ones in this book and it all fits together.

I love the story that Charlie has portrayed. I have to admit that I was both surprised and sad when Jack died but it was a great way to put people in suspense. I love this book and I think that others should read this book
