I found Andy's practical, straight-forward teaching about how to.recognize and deal with these heart issues very helpful. Andy does not disappoint in providing great spiritual insight into addressing these toxic emotions we allow into our hearts.

This book provides a deep yet simple discussion of four enemies of the heart that prevent us from achieving an attitude of peace and grace. It is a soulful look into the mirror (which is rarely easy) and comes with ways to lesson their impact on your life and therefore on others. A must read for every Christian .

This is an excellent book that I think everybody should read! I can't say I always enjoyed reading it as it stepped on my toes more than once! However, it was so helpful in some areas of my life that have been struggles for years! I have told me so many people about it and can't wait to read it again!
The Poisoner's Enemy (a Kingfountain prequel) (The Kingfountain Series) :: Survivors #2: A Hidden Enemy :: DANCE WITH THE ENEMY a gripping thriller full of suspense and twists (Enemy series Book 1) :: Omega Force: The Enemy Within (OF4) :: The Fear (new cover) (An Enemy Novel)

This book introduce Christians to fundamentals in our lives which probably have gone wrong and we don't even know it. A really easy read, but very very convincing, and sound advice. It is worth reading this, even if you don't think you have any serious issues in your life or you are comfortable with where you are.

This book really spoke to me because the "Enemies of the Heart" this book talks about have really been a huge struggle for me most of my life. It was motivating, helpful, practical and I highly recommend it for people who have some issues to deal with such as anger or jealousy. They really are enemies of the heart and God does not want that for us at all. I pray many people read this book!

This book challenged me to look deep within and evaluate my own heart condition. Not only does it provide a means of evaluation, but also a plan to make specific changes. I'm sure no book is perfect, but I feel this book accomplished what Andy Stanley set out to do, giving an understandable tool for personal/spiritual development.

Andy Stanley once again hits the nail on the head in helping his readers see inside their own hearts to assess the damage that has been done from outside sources as well as from self-inflicted wounds. He doesn't stop there, however, but shows us how to get the healing our hearts need.

I loved this book because it explained four enemies of our hearts that every person must deal with in life at one time or another. Andy's focus is from a Christian perspective, however, I would recommend this book to anyone who is striving to grow personally.
This book is written in simple terms and it is so easy to understand and apply the principles that he is writing about.
