I want nothing to do with a seeker friendly move- I wish our church would have never invited him to speak-!
How do we differ from any other volunteer group if we are not supposed to talk about JESUS!?

Have read many books over the years on relating to others spiritually, and this is the best! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. So practical and instructive on LISTENING, testing for ripe fruit and not forcing conversations but seeing where the Holy Spirit takes it. A must for outreaching Believers.

In their book Execution, CEO gurus Bossidy and Charan define execution as "the gap between what a company's leaders want to achieve and the ability of their organizations to deliver it." Failed execution is the key reason companies fail to dominate their markets. And it's a far too common failure in most Christian individuals, particularly with regard to our evangelism mandate. Evangelism is often the least desirable Christian discipline yet the one we feel most guilty about. As a long-time Campus Crusade for Christ staff member, I can relate.

So how do we narrow this threatening gap between our call to share the gospel and our failure to actually do it? Doug Pollack has an answer in his book, God Space.

God Space provides a framework for natural, loving evangelism that will winsomely lead more people to our wonderful Savior. In addition, Pollack has provided superb questions to lead the reader toward spiritual conversations. "Has there been one book or movie that's left its mark on you in a significant way? How so?" What a fun, engaging and insightful question! This conversation could easily go toward the depths of the heart. See [...] for his remaining ninety-nine "wondering" questions.

God Space and its supplementary website [...], work together to nurture the Christian to effectively engage people Godwardly amidst a religiously intolerant society. I predict it will become my core tool for developing evangelism practitioners in the Christians I coach.

My wholehearted 5-star recommendations! But if I haven't sold you, taste and see via [...]

Doug Pollock combines years a accumulated wisdom and experience to put together this excellent piece of work. The thing that makes it so effective is the fact that you can't disagree with stories. Doug Pollock makes a point and then shares a story to back up what he has to say, and it is clear that what he is saying works. If everybody shared the Gospel with the heart and intentions of the author of this book, Christians would be looked at in a totally different light.

It would definitely be worth buying and reading this book, and giving it to some friends. American Evangelicalism needs to take a step in the direction of presenting the "whole Gospel for the whole person."

Off the charts. God Space will open your eyes to the real ministry opportunity that so many of us miss. It's so practical. This is a weekend read and it will change your view on how to minister to others, how to meet them where they are at in life, but more importantly to see them as Jesus sees them. Doug Pollock uses very easy to understand life examples of what he shares. This would be a great book for your church staff to read and put into play. Read it, discuss it, live it. Thanks Doug for giving me 20/20 vision. [email protected]

Every American Christian needs to read this book. Sharing our faith is one of the most important commands that God gives us, and in America, many churches have stopped doing it all together in fear of offending someone or for fear of failure. This book gives us a practical way to talk with people that we love and who we want to know Jesus, without offending them or pushing them farther from God instead of closer. Highly, highly recommended.

Doug Pollock does an excellent job of looking at talking about spiritual matters from a holistic perspective. He doesn't just focus on sharing the gospel, instead he deals with everything from engaging someone who is far from God to others who might be very open to discussing faith issues. In addition, the book is full of practical suggestions anyone can begin using right away. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in as Doug says, "increasing the quality and quantity of their spiritual conversations."

Doug Pollock's book, God Space, gives hope to everyone who wants to share his/her faith, but wants to do it in a way that is not a turnoff. Giving many examples of how to create God space in our everyday conversations, Pollock helps the reader understand how to treat not-yet Christians the way we would want to be treated if we were in their shoes. It's enough to get you excited about sharing your faith again.

This book isn't just for the inexperienced. The leadership of Faculty Commons, the faculty ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, has made this required reading all of their field staff. Our discussions about the book have been incredibly fruitful.

Doug Pollock has done it again---easy to read, full of story examples that show and tell and help you remember. I gave a copy to a new friend while traveling 2 days ago and he has not only read it, but has ordered 5 more for his friends.
This book is a fun, "how to", not a "should". If you want to greatly improve your communication skills and share your faith in a casual, non-threatening way, this book will show you how.

I absolutely love this book! Doug has successfully accomplished relaying how to create a safe and caring space for us to reach out and offer non-judgmental friendship.
As I read through, I found that I was actually picturing his true life scenarios in my mind like watching a movie. Doug's life coaching skills and insight are right on target. I especially enjoy his writing style, he has simplified how we can use life coaching skills to help others want to take steps towards their salvation without turning them further away.

Doug Pollock has gotten this one right- and you can tell that the truth of this book came at the expense of his own exeperiences and the grace of God. I highly recommend this book to anyone who follows Jesus- who wants others to follow Him too- not because you'll receive some sort of reward for doing it but because you geniunely love people. The Gospel is THE greatest news the world has ever known- "God Space" will both encourage and challenge you to be a Gospel proclaimer in a way that is so much like the approach Jesus would take!

This is an incredible book on "lifestyle evangelism". For any Christian who doesn't know where to start or what to say when expressing their faith, this is *the* book to read! How not to turn off not-yet-Christians and just be the light.

I've been through a lot of classes read a lot of books on evangelism and this one makes the most sense and as I think about it, it was probably this method (even though it wasn't written down then!) that brought me to Jesus 40 years ago.
