Neale explains how to live each of the 25 statements in a simple and clear manner. The hardest part will be to get them all going and I believe that one can live a perfectly contented life. Thank You Neale. Keep up the GOOD job - John T Williams

After reading all of Neale Donald Walsch's books, it is inspiring to read a very solid combination of all the "Conversation With God" books by Neale Donald Walsch. New ideas and suggestions for learning more about how to apply "Conversation With God" truths.
We each have our own version of truth but Neale gives new ideas and suggestions! Thank you Neale Donald Walsch!

Three for the effort at creative writing....and the ability to make so much money off of it...but anyone who claims to talk with God can be diagnosed as schizophrenic...why the readers don't get it must be the will of God or it would be different...same goes for all the quotes that he takes from God that conflict with the Bible...take item 9) "There is no such place as hell and eternal punishment does not exist...because there is only here and now...eternally." But Jesus said, "...fear him who after killing the body has power to cast you into hell."...(Luke 12:4-5) So who are you gonna believe??? But of course schizophrenia was not a diagnosis of mental illness way back then 2,000 years ago. Maybe Jesus had it too and so did St. Paul. The mystery is why so many people take Walsch as a new thought theology of truth because he says God told him so...as they did with Jesus...as P.T.Barnum said, there is a sucker born every minute. His work is a combination of Buddhism, humanism, and panentheism which he brands with authority by claiming it came from God...not unlike Joseph Smith, Jr. who claimed he got the Book of Mormon from some gold plates or Muhammad who claimed his revelation came from Angel Gabriel...more schizophrenia...but many people take it as gospel. Now that must be god's will or it would be different...not the manmade god in holy books or this creative fiction but the prime mover in the universe...generator, operator, destroyer...GOD...it does whatever it wants with whomever it wants and sheeple all must take what it gives and give what it takes...ergo theofatalism...it is the only belief system that accommodates all the others...but hey, that would be another type of book....you better believe it ...but as Chruchhill said, sometimes people stumble onto the truth but they just ignore it and keep on walking....Jesus said there would be false prophets, false teachers, and false teachings....just saying....so feel good inside no matter what happens outside and just go outside and play...or google theofatalism for details...just saying...just saying...theofatalism...

This is a great summary of the 25 core principles from the Conversations with God Series (9 books total). I thought this was a good refresher and practical guide to applying each of the 25 principles in my daily life. I would NOT recommend reading this book instead of reading the entire 9 book series but I would recommend having it around as a handbook to dip in and out of from time to time. By reading this book without reading the entire series you'll get a great overview of the core principles but you miss so much more. I can't stress enough that this book should be read as a companion to the full series not as a supplement. With that being said, here are a few of my favorite principles from the book, all of which completely changed the way I think about myself, God and humanity as a whole.
CWG Principle #1 - We are all ONE
All things are one thing and all things are apart of the one thing that is
CWG Principle #2 - Theres enough
Its not necessary to complete over, much less fight over your resources, all you have to do is share.
CWG Principle #4 - God talks to everyone all the time
The question is not who god talks to. The question is who listens
CWG Principle #9 - There is no such place as hell and eternal damnation does not exist
CWG Principe #10 - Death does not exist
What you call death is a simply a process of re-identifcation. It is the illusion of our separation from God that is over NOT life...we have come home. (this one is a tear jerker read "Home With God" the last book in the convo with God series to get the totality of this message)
This is one of the best series of books ever produced.(Speaking of the full CWG 9 book series) You don't have to read far nor do you have to agree with everything in them to see that. A truly aw inspiring work.

This was a good summary with which to familiarize myself with Neale Donald Walsch's writings.
Though I had read the original "Conversations with God" book 16 years ago, I couldn't remember any of it. So I considered myself a CwG newbie when "What God Said" caught my eye at the public library.
If the reader prefers, he/she may read "What God Said" as a stand-alone book, and leave it at that. On the other hand, if his/her curiosity is aroused by one or other of the 25 "core messages," he/she may choose to explore it in more depth.
Though another reviewer criticized Walsch for promoting his other books in this book, I actually found that to be a useful feature of "What God Said." It suggested other resources if I wanted to explore any given topic more thoroughly.
Through that process, I felt drawn to "The Only Thing That Matters," also by Neale Donald Walsch. I found "The Only Thing That Matters" very compelling. It really SPOKE to me. I don't know how else to put it.
So, while I liked "What God Said," I LOVED "The Only Thing That Matters."
"What God Said" also introduced me to Ken Keyes Jr. I've ordered a second hand copy of his "Handbook to Higher Consciousness." That will take quite a while to be mailed from the USA to my home in New Zealand. I wanted to get an immediate sense of his writing while I waited for "Handbook to Higher Consciousness" to arrive, so I looked for his books in the store's Kindle Store. The only one I could find was "Three Prescriptions for Happiness," What a little treasure it turned out to be.
To summarize, I found "What God Said," to be a good overview of the CwG material and Neale Donald Walsch's writings in general. But I got more out of "Three Prescriptions for Happiness" (by Keyes) and "The Only Thing That Matters" (by Walsch).

I thought this book was a terrific summary of all the CwG material. Very easy to read and apply. My only problem was that the author kept recommending that readers buy his other books. This felt too much like salesmanship and took away from the message of the book.
The author also recommends reading poetry by someone named Em Claire, who just happens to be his wife. Seems like more salesmanship. Again, I like the book, but the salesmanship is a bit of a turn-off.
