What a crazy ride with this one, lol. I laughed, cried, almost cursed a couple of times, all in all really good.

I liked Lydia and Vaughn together, I think they balanced each other out really well. Truthfully I wanted to kick Vaughns behind a couple of time, but he got it together, lol. I enjoyed the supporting cast, really good

What a book! I loved all of these characters. The storyline was incredible and had me hooked from the very first word! The very first scene set the tone for the book. I laughed until I cried at some of the interactions that take place. The stories that Vaughan tells Lydia are priceless! Notlydia! LOL! I am very excited to see where the story will lead from here!

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters (even the secondary characters are well developed). I loved that the heroine is a curvy girl. The way the main characters meet is very entertaining I was hooked on this books from page one.

I have actually read this book a few times!
Twist: A Dive Bar Novel (Dive Bar Series Book 2) :: Skin (Flesh Series Book 2) :: It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time :: Deep (Stage Dive Series Book 4) :: The Reckoning (Hard to Resist Book 2)

Just finished Dirty. Awesome. Wonderful. Loved it. Laughed a lot. The characters are so great. I love the humor, the sweetness, the humanness of them. The goofy girl. The sweet, sexy boy. And the return of one of my favorites just for a few pages. Sigh. Time to go read it again. The first time's for the story. The second time is for me. ☺️ Thanks Ms. Scott for another amazing book. So... How long till the next one??

Dirty is a fabulous start to this spin off/connected series. Vaughn & Lydia's entire whirlwind relationship is reminiscent of David & Evie and Mal & Anne. I loved the witty banter, sweetness, lots of LOL moments & steamy times! This is their story, but also builds the sense of family & community, & I think the series is going to join Stage Dive as a favorite!

Plus, there's a Mal cameo. Winning!! : )

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Personally I'm over the super Rich alpha male and 20 something yo virgin. This book is a refreshing mature romance with none of that, little angst, and a beautiful love story. I see it is a spinoff from another set of books You do not need to read them to fully appreciate this one, I didn't. Not into rock star romances and I was still able to follow along no problem

Lydia and Vaughn have an interesting first meeting, and an interesting relationship. Neither is interested in forever, or so they say. Great characters all around. Love the staff at Dive Bar, love the chemistry between the leads. Quick, enjoyable read. If you like Stage Dive, you'll enjoy Dive Bar.

Having read the Stage Dive series, Kylie Scott's writing is like a familiar old friend. That said, maybe a little too familiar. Dirty, the first book of the Dive Bar series, feels almost recycled from the Stage Dive series.

Lydia finds herself on the run from a disastrous would-be wedding, over a fence and right through Vaughan's window into his bathtub. Where she finds herself face to crotch with the man himself, who has just returned home after the breakup of his band.

Both down on their luck they strike up a friendship, I guess, and things progress from there. Quickly. As the whole book takes place over the course of a week. No moving slow, taking your time here. Moving in, ups and down, and of course sex, it feels like the book should take place over months, not days. But days it is, and when the week is up they are supposed to go on their own separate ways.

I don't know, I mean I liked it. Scott's writing is smooth and mostly easy to follow. But it felt pretty predictable at this point.

This book had humor, lots of humor. Lydia was awesome and Vaughan was just ...sigh......Vaughan :)
This was a great, typical girl finds LOVE, loses LOVE, finds better love just doesn't know it yet. Kylie is a great writer and does great stories. This book is a must read and can't wait for Twist!

Darn. This was a pretty good book ... and that says it all. I have LOVED the Stage Dive novels and was prepared to be blown away again by hot, sexy, angsty conflict and repartee (this author can do dialogue sooooo well! Mal, look at you)

For me, this book lacks the depth and real connection of the Stage novels. I liked both characters but never felt passion between them.

I enjoyed this read. Entertained me and didn't make me think too hard.

Smoking hot ranga had me wanting to read more. Snappy banter was enjoyable to read.

Easy to read writing style had me get through this title in one sitting. Second book in this series is out March 2017 and I intend to keep an eye out for when it goes on sale.

I was expected rock band romance...wrong, but I still loved it.
A wedding gone wrong, a runaway bride and a bit of trespassing starts this story off with a laugh. I enjoyed the plot, the characters were funny and naughty.
Bring on the next book.

Great start to the new series. Slow moving but really fun. The dialogue between the H and h was great. They fell in love naturally and it felt right. Set up for the other characters and their upcoming books was great. I'm hooked and have already preordered the next. Hopi. All goes well for Nell and it was great to see my fav Stage Dive drummer Mal!

This was so freaking awesome! It was fun and entertaining, really sweet, and way hot! I was beyond excited while reading, hated to put it down, and pretty much ignored everything while I read. I love that feeling when I get truly all consumed into a story and the characters lives. Loved this so very much!

I love Lydia, she is a fanatic female lead. I have a serious girl crush on her. I got Lydia, could totally relate to her, and loved her humor. She was a bit snarky and sarcastic, with a fantastic attitude and serious inner strength. Vaughan was so sweet, open, kind, and understanding. Loved their chemistry. All these subtle things were happening and building and I felt like I was right there with them. Loved when Vaughan and Lydia showed vulnerability, the author really did wonderful job of showing that.

There was a slow burn in the first half as Vaughan and Lydia get to know each other and their attraction grows. Love their passion and need for one another… it got super steamy and hot! But they were also both fighting these inner battles of what their next step was so it made that want feel like more. It could be emotional with ups and downs. It made for an excellent read.

Love the characters that were introduced. I am just so excited where all this could go. Love the development of a side story that was happening and cannot wait for more.

Really awesome. Loved it so much. Like I said, slow build and burn but it didn't feel slow. It felt detailed, like really fantastic groundwork was being laid out for this story and series. I thought it had a great flow and the timing and pace were perfect. Nice bits of drama and tension were woven in. And that ending... talk about emotional! I was laughing and crying.

Love the fresh, new characters that Kylie Scott has brought to life. Just an awesome build throughout as two deserving people find each other and find their new dream. Loved it hard!

I liked Vaughn in the Stage Dive series, but wasn't sure I was ready for a book about him. Ah, I was so wrong. I love Vaughn! LOVE HIM! He and Lydia are fun together. I enjoyed the whole story - especially the situations Lydia got herself into. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

BTW - love the cameo from Stage Dive!

Hmm. I was disappointed in this book. Maybe it was because we had so little of the male protagonist's pov, but there was a huge disconnect of Vaughan's character. I loved him when he showed up in KS's previous books, so his character was a huge let down in his own story. Also, it seems that each book is leaning more toward trashy instead of classy. Girls sleeping with other men and men being man whores having trouble staying faithful. Hate that crap. It's too juvenile to be concidered romance when it is styled after that.

I had fun reading this one!! I laughed and really enjoyed the wonderful people in this story! Vaughan and Lydia were so very good together but what made the book for me was the ones around them! Thank you Ms. Scott for the great entertainment!!

I liked the heroine, she was different to the average one and a little more relatable.

Overall it was a good book, a fun read. I'd be happy to read more from this author.

The contents page is at the end, which the store doesn't like and I agree is wrong. If I knew how to report it I would. Creates misleading stats I believe.

From the beginning, I went in expecting to reD something similar to Lick, Deep, etc... It is not.
Vaughan is messed up, and Lydia is lost.(in her own mind) Somehow they find each other. It sweet, it's funny, it's heartbreaking, it's WOW! Totally loved it. Cannot wait for #2 Twist to come out. Thank you Kylie Scott for your talent and sharing it with us.

After a tortuous year of waiting, Kylie Scott is back with a vengeance and I love it! I pulled an all-nighter to soak up the Vaughan and Lydia goodness and it was worth it.

Dirty hits the ground running as Lydia is viewing the evidence of her fiancé's cheating ways - with his best man- that was anonymously messaged to her on her wedding day. Ouch, no wonder she does a runner! Desperation has her climbing fences in heels and her dress to seek refuge in the seemingly abandoned home next door, so she is totally unprepared as she hiding in the bathtub for her crying jag to be interrupted by a spray of cold water and one very naked Vaughan who is just returning from his travels with his band and the Stage Dive crew.

If you read Deep, you will remember Vaughan from his attempts to help Lizzy and Ben and honestly I think he was one of the best parts of that book for me. If you haven't read it, no worries- you can fall in love with him in Dirty just as easily! Once he recovers from the shock of finding a crying stranger in a wedding dress in his bathroom, he realizes what a beautiful spitfire has dropped into his life as she relays her story and subsequently gives her dirtbag ex-fiance what he deserves when he shows up looking for her.

Lydia has never had love and affection in her life, so when Chris came into it a few months ago, he seemed to good to be true but her damaged heart craved the positive attention and never questioned his desire to hold off on intimacy until they were married. Hindsight shows her the error of her thinking, but no one in town shared Chris's less than well kept little secret with the newcomer either. Vaughan can't deny his spark of interest as her resilient spirit starts to emerge, and he offers her a place to stay temporarily until she gets her life sorted. Having her to keep him company in the house he has barely returned to after the death of his parents may just keep him sane while he is there.

I love Lydia's sense of humor and inner monologue that kept me grinning the whole way through, and I have so many passages highlighted my Kindle should be glowing in the dark. As a large and curvy girl myself, I can definitely identify with her body issues, but they are nonexistent in Vaughan's eyes. Vaughan is a great combination of sweet, sexy and hot as Hades as they fall fast and hard for each other although neither wants to admit it to themselves. The insta-love part of the story is the only minor drawback for me, but yet it was still written in a way that I felt it and it made sense so it was ultimately a virtual non-issue to me in the end. The question constantly looms over them though: how soon will Vaughan leave again to escape his demons ad chase his dreams while leaving Lydia in the dust?

There is plenty happening around them to add to the story too because the Dive Bar family and friends are a hot mess! Vaughan's sister Nell is separated from her husband who is also a co-owner of the bar which is just a minor complication as it turns out. Another friend and co-owner Eric uses the bar as his personal pick up pad which adds to the tension, particularly when bad blood between him and Vaughan over the bad rises to the surface again. There's so much more too but you will have to read it for yourself! So what are you waiting for? Stop reading this and go buy this book now while I start my countdown to Twist's release date!

Vaughan has to be among my favorite heroes. Despite his issues, he was understanding, caring, and let Lydia be who she was. He was a calm that she needed after all her drama. I got sucked in to these two and enjoyed every minute of it!

This was a great book with a surprise guest appearance by one if my favorite characters of all time. It's brief, but it's funny. There were parts of this book that had me laughing out loud. This author is rapidly becoming one of my favorites. I cannot wait for the next one in this series!

I read the ebook thru chapter 19 and then switched to the audio version. I really enjoyed this start to the new series and can't wait to find out what happens with the rest of the characters. I have go on record with how much I loved the part when Mal was passing on his words of wisdom.
