Another great read in this series by Ms. Scott. Really great characterizations. The main male character basically split himself in two to survive in the whirlwind of life as a rock star. I found this aspect of the story illuminating. The main female character was able to handle the two sides of the main male character. Onward to the next in the series. :)

They fight hard to maintain their bond throughout all kinds of misunderstandings and people trying to take advantage of circumstances. Holli and Dalton’s love is greatly tested in this book but they are able to see the light of their bonds of love in the end. Of course the sex helps too. Always hot lovin’ in S.L. Stories. It keeps me coming back. Definitely a re read series.

I loved that this author continued the story of these two. It was real and raw. It wasnt just one hard bump then happily ever after, no this couple definitely went through some rough patches that just kept coming at them. Thats real life though, thats what realtionships and marriages are about. I loved watching them grow and if im being honest it wasnt until this second book about them that i finally was able to connect. Great job to this author! Def continuing in the series.

Oh, these two....When I realized that The Reckoning was about Holiday and Johnny I kicked myself for not reading it sooner and thanked the heavens that my internet was having an outage and I decided to go skipping through my kindle for something to read. I loved everything about the Resistance and nothing was different about The Reckoning. These two are impossible no to love and root for. They certainly don't take the easy path to anything though. There were times I felt like they were never going to get out of their own way to let the love continue, but when they do....It's so worth it.

I loved this second book even more than the firstl. I love a good angst fest and this one had it all. There was no cliffhanger at the end of the first book, but this story picks up right after the first one ended. Dalton and Holli really have some bad influences trying to drive them apart. You just have to read it. It's not boring.

Really loved this addition to the series. The storyline just flowed. I couldn't put my kindle down read this in one sitting. If you like rocker books then this is a MUST read. It has everything I want angst, drama, a crazy or two and great sex scenes.

A fabulous, romantic, angsty follow up to the charter topper and personal favorite of fine, The Resistance!
Jack Dalton is just like you remember - breathtaking, heart stopping, charismatic, and soulfull. Holliday is just as strong, passionate, and real as we remember, too!
Five HUGE stars for this realistic addition to two of my favorite characters. A total MUST READ!

I am enjoying the steamy relationship, the sweet connection and the in sync bond. It's the repetitive emotional breakdowns that spirals them apart the is a little too much stupid drama. How many times can fake media lies fool you? But in the end the HEA is wonderful.

Oh Johnny /Dalton....you frustrate me and make me love you all in one sentence! Loved this book. Glad you finally come to your senses and realize how much Holliday really loves you and how devoted she is to you even though she wants to still make a name for herself. Love...love...love this series.

While epilogue of The Resistance gave us a happy ending for Dalton and Holliday, The Reckoning takes us deeper into their lives, showing the struggle between the international rock star Johnny Outlaw and the real Jack Dalton which directly impacts his relationship with his wife. Dalton is off touring while Holliday is busy running and growing her business. The couple not only deals with long distance but with paparazzi, rumors, jealousy and their trust in one another.

Dylan is still incredibly swoon worthy when he expresses his love for Holliday and their love scenes are still completely hot and steamy. There are far too many spoilers so I won't say more but let's just say that Dalton and Holliday are truly tested throughout but in the end, they truly do find their HEA. Sometimes it's best not to mess with a beloved couple in a follow-up book but I think that S.L. Scott did right by Dalton and Holliday by testing their limits. It solidified their relationship and gave us another side to life in the spotlight.
