Wonderful! I wish I had known about this book before I went through menopause. I love how Christiane covers all the aspects of the life change, not just the physical. The emotional and spiritual part are usually neglected, but she explains and covers them in her book. I reference this book often; thanks, Christiane.

And this is no exception! Love this woman and her work. Highly recommend this for anyone who is dealing with this time of their life. Not a technical manual-- a good read that is encouraging and supportive.

This book has been extremely informative and helpful as I transition to this stage in life. I can relate to the examples the author has given and have tried many of the supplements and herbs that she recommends. It has been wonderful!

Excellent, excellent book. Some "woo woo" but nothing wrong with alternatives to Western medicine mixed in with Western medicine. Any women 43+ should read this book...AND their significant others. I truly believe that divorce rates among this age group would go down. Understanding and awareness is key. You're going to be alright.

This book is so informative. Every time I read it (three times), I come away with more information. But the most important thing (to me) is that when I read it I realized I was not alone in what was happening to me. Please invest the time and money in yourself and purchase this book. You are worth it!

EXCELLENT help ! Learned things my mother never told me, that I did not understand about my physical well being. This book brought me to an herbal aid that has helped me with hot flashes and other (*PHUN*) menopause sensations!
Thanks Dr! I had seen her on OPRAH, DR OZ, and other Television shows but only gained respect for her when I read this book! BRAVO DOC !

Had the original--was so helpful I bought the revised for updated material. Just reading it puts me in a great mood--applying her advice on diet and supplements is very very helpful just as she describes. I have had medical problems diagnosed from reading this book that dozens of doctors never came close to diagnosing.

Good Book. Don't agree with some of her wisdom. Lowcarbhighfat totally helped my syptoms and she dished it. I don't think she did the program right. It helps tremendously to cut out flour and sugar.

This book was very helpful and life understanding for me. Initially I thought it was very long and took a long time to get to the point but I was so desperate for answers until I waded through the things that didn't apply to me to get to the point. I am a eat the meat and spit out the bones kind of person. I bought the book in Kindle form and I enjoyed it so much I have bought a couple of paper back books to give as gifts to friends that I thought would find it helpful. This is the only book that I have come across that explained in detail what I was suffering, I often refer back to it as a point of reference when I have questions about what i"m experiencing.

This book is a permanent fixture on my nightstand. I had so many questions about menopause, and never got any answers. It's like just the word, is taboo, lol. No one ever talks about it!

Dr. Northrup's book explains EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING you could possibly want to know about menopause, and tips on how to survive it. I've already taken some suggestions, and feel a hell of a lot better.

This book was the best money I have ever spent in my life. I took it to the doctors office on my last visit. I knew what questions to ask, and what I wanted done thanks to the book. What WAS broken, is NOW fixed!!!

My hot flashes have subsided. My family is glad to have me "normal" again. Not the "evil witch" that appeared after the onset.

Thanks Doc, for writing this book. You literally saved my life.

One piece of info useful. Another one of those recommended books. Most times when a recommended comes my way I don't listen. The only thing I learned from this was that SOY can fatigue you! That I needed to know. I feel better since getting the soy products out of my system. More energy! Go figure.

Christiane has done a great job in titling this book because it does take wisdom and a lot of it to handle menopause, even during the pre-menopause stages. She takes you through each essence of how menopause affect the lives of women and those around us. Life is already about changes and causes ebbs and flows but what happens when your body begins to change as it does. For some it is drastic while for others it flows easily. The Wisdom of Menopause helps you to understand what is happening and that you are not alone.

It is highly recommended if you are a woman who is either pre-menopausal, experiencing menopause or living with someone experiencing menopause pick up a copy today.

My go to Doctor for all issues concerning healthy transitions through womanhood. Teens -Menipause read all of her books. This one was especially helpful in relating to my doctor my hormonal needs after Menipause.
