I loved learning about Sean and Ethan. Sean struggles with losing his brother and Ethan is reminded of losing his parents at a young age. The backstory and the chemistry carry the book. This is another well written Hart and McCormack collaboration! I almost could hear both of them snickering at some of the funny scenes in the book. I love Ninja and Straighty!!!

Up for the Challenge was a great read!! The banter was super fun and really well written..the lovin' was seriously hot...and I loved the development of the relationship between Straighty and Ninja..these are men, not boys, and they acted like it...secondary characters were awesome too!!

Ethan is a cocky SOB who's world and straightness get rocked by Sean. These guys are hilarious. It's hard to tell which one is cockier and which one I love more. This is my favorite Riley and Devon book so far. I needed this. Thanks!

Absolutely one of my favorites. Great Dialogue, wonderful banter, steamy sex and a nit so straight guy falling for a gay guy. Loved Mr Harris and Mr Wright, the writing was tight as always when Devon ad Riley team up. They never disappoint. These two characters are perfect for each other both cocky, confident and hiding pain from their pasts. The pain shared pulls them together in one more way. The way they are always trying to one up the other is charming and fun. of course there were many strong emotions mixed in with fun and games. But what these two can get out of air hockey, pool and bowling, not to mention their sexcapades is totally remarkable.
I have to hand it to Devon and Riley they just keep upping their own achievements. I thought each book I read by them couldn't get any better and yet with each collaboration they continue to prove how good they are and they grow as writers at a pace that makes mere mortals dizzy.
Can't wait for what they get up to next. Lest I make too much of the main characters let me just say the supporting cast of characters are so spot on that I can envision a book about each one or pairs of them in conjunction. Just saying lots of places to go here,

Riley Hart and Devon McCormack are great authors on their own, but together they are fabulous. Add Michael Pauley to the mix and you’re guaranteed a great listen.

Ethan Harris is sure he’s straight – until Sean Wright rescues him twice in one night. Suddenly it’s not about body parts, but about the person. This is the best part of GFY (gay for you). It’s one of my favourite tropes and this book is at the top of my list.

I also love when heroes are broken in some way. Watching them tackle those issues and losses in their lives is painful yet makes me hopeful.

I didn’t see the dark moment coming and found myself tearing up on the subway (thank you Devon and Riley). Although Sean is suffering physically, it’s Ethan’s emotional anguish that tore me up inside. The death of someone close is tough enough, but abandonment after that is brutal. Because I had connected emotionally with these characters, I was drawn in and shared their pain.

I love the challenges as they brought needed humour. Sean’s family are precious, the men’s friends are quirky and the relationship between Ethan and his aunt is heartbreaking. That added another layer to his journey.

Of course there is a happy ending, but I love when the men have to fight for it.

Although I’ve left Michael Pauley for last, that is only because there’s not much to say – because he was perfect…again. He is great at hitting the emotional notes perfectly and differentiating voices wonderfully.

On the whole, the book is just awesome.

When it comes to writing duos Riley Hart and Devon McCormack are always Up to the Challenge, and there is something is very hot about two alpha males who know how to push and pull together. Ethan and Sean not only revved my pulse and jump started heart they crawled into my mind. There was no other way but to always win and anything less was not really an option for Ethan till his world turns on it's axes, and Sean rescues him for a robbery and what could have been worse incident. The resulting path forward has Ethan questioning and determined to at least pay back and in ways want to one up his rescuer. Nothing is left off the table and somewhere along the line these men start blurring the lines of winning and loving. The story was touching in ways I wasn't expecting, the dynamics of Sean's family and his reasons for always paying it forward squeezed my heart.Barbara is one of those special characters that will have anyone with a pulse laughing out loud and as this story pushes Ethan and Sean to breaking boundaries and propelling forward I was left with such a dizzying feeling of euphoria. The heat and by heat I mean 50 furnaces hot and blowing strong that keeps upping the ante throughout is playful, sensual and full of honest emotions. When I finally reached the most satisfying conclusion, all I could think was , damn these writers keep doing it again and again as I wipe the happy tears .
