Love, love, love this book! Ruger: alpha, controlling, possessive, sexist hottie. Sophie: strong, sweet, confused, but then, men will do that to you. Hooked from page 1. Love MC books. Yeah bad things happen, but judging people generally comes back to bite you in the ass. He was always there when she needed him, no matter what was going on between them at the time. So many people wouldn't be and that kind of love is awesome. It felt real to me, and I love it when I connect so well to the characters that they feel real. It was sweet, frustrating, hot.... and did I mention hot? Ruger has definitely got it going on!

I absoutely LOVED this book!! My love for this series started with Reaper's Property and grew with Reaper's Legacy!! If you like SOA or MC romance, this is the series for you!!

It starts with Sophie in high school losing her virginity to her boyfriend Zach (Ruger's stepbrother). Little did she know, she would end up pregnant. Once Zach is out of the picture, Ruger continues to take care of Sophie and Noah and eventually moves them into his house. Sophie isn't sure about the Reapers, but she gives it a try after meeting some of the women of the club. After a couple bad experiences, she decides she wants nothing to do with Ruger or the Reapers.

When Soph realizes that she needs Ruger, it makes for a HEA. This is my favorite series now! I just wish we didn't hVe to wait until June for the next book!!

*Sighs* Wow. Sophie and Ruger's story was just full of so much emotion. I loved how much history they had together but Sophie was still so naive about the club and all it represented. Ruger's is such a hot sexy tattooed pierced caveman alpha who was a manwhore but expected Sophie to not be with anyone else but him. Like that went over well...lol The relationship between them was tumultuous to say the least. Joanna Wylde did such a great job with their story. There were many thing I didn't see coming. The supporting characters were all fantastic and together made this such a great read. I really enjoy this series and can't wait to see what the author has in store next. Highly recommend this series.

It seems like everyone is coming out with their own MC series lately. The problem is, many authors don't take the time to properly research the culture and the books wind up filled with gross stereotypes. This is absolutely not the case with Joanna Wylde. Even without the mention at the front of the book that she did extensive research and had a woman connected to an MC review the book for errors, you would see the difference.

Sophie did annoy me more than once, but I could understand her motivation. She is a single mother who has already been hurt by Ruger's brother. She's not terribly eager to get hurt again, and she has to watch out for the best interests of her son. In the end, this is not your typical boy-meets-girl romance, but it's an incredible story of love and devotion.

Overall, I loved it. A strong follow up to Reaper's Property. Did I love it as much as Reaper's Property? Nope. I thought the first half was a more enjoyable read than the second half. Saying that doesn't reallly seem fair since I thought the entire book was solid all the way around but I thought the first half really set up the entire book to be amazing. I'm not sure the book as a whole quite got to the amazing status for me but I'm a finicky bitch sometimes. It's pretty much impossible to compete with Horse for me. I L.O.V.E him. He will always be my favorite in this series, don't care what bad-ass biker is revealed in future books.

Reaper's Legacy wasn't amazing for me but it definitely is a solid, quality read and deserves five star. Joanna Wylde does MC romance right!

No words can describe how I love biker books. The whole danger and mystery of these sexy men just completely grabs my attention. This series in particular is my favorite. I was on pins and needles waiting for the next book and I was not disappointed at all.

Some say these books are all the same and are all predictable but isn't that why we read them because we love the suspense and hard loving that comes from a biker. I say bring it on and sign me up. I mean where can I put in an application to be an old lady to a Reaper, just saying!

I am pretty sure this book is spot on with some of the characters and events. I wouldn't doubt that they are hard asses and even harder lovers. This book in particular was fabulous because it involved the love for a child and how they over come the family issues. I mean the first few pages of the first chapter get it started all hot and heavy and I'll be damned I read this book in an afternoon I could not put it down. You will love the danger, you will love the love, and you will love the whole family has your back scenario and you will absolutely love the hot steamy S.E.X!!!!! Enjoy!

I was so ecstatic while reading , not only is Rugger rough and tough hottness but Horse makes an appearance throughout and especially from the beginning. The story starts strong and then kind of fades IMO. I enjoyed Reaper's Property more and note because it was a new story. This installment kind of fell flat , I was disappointed that Rugger and Sophie had very limited scenes together. The story unfolds and the author wants Sophie to see that the motorcycle club is an appropriate place for her....and so the many chapters of her and her friends ensues. I get the point but it was overkill. Maybe others would enjoy the read better than I but when a story starts off so strong then falls off, its.....disappointing. I hope the next installment is stronger.

This is a strange review to write for me. Because I realize after reading a few MC books they aren't for me. And don't get me wrong this author is very talented and the story was very good, but again not for me. I really found myself not liking
sophie. I just couldn't figure out how she felt she was so much better than Ruger when she was depending on him all the time. I also thought it was funny that she would say she was staying away from him, and again as soon as she saw him she had sex with him. It seemed a lot of the sex wasn't really hot just somewhat nasty for me. Having said all this if you like MC books than you will sure love this one.

This wasn't quite as graphic as the other stories in the series but it was just as good. I did get sick of Sophie's whining throughout the story. Her righteous attitude against the club made want to slap her, keep Noah and push her out by herself to fin for herself. She ended up seeing the light when she had no other choice, though Zack so deserved what he got. Yes you can read these stories as standalone, however, it's so much better if you start at the beginning. Characters from the previous story show up often in this story. Oh and I still really love Horse.

The Reaper's Motorcycle series are some hot books with some bad ass bikers. Book 1 and 2 both made me want to hit both men, Horse and Ruger in the head with my Kindle! They both need to have their attitudes about women checked. I did love Ruger and Sophie's story. I understand Sophie position about not wanting to commit to Ruger until he decided that she was the only woman he would be with. Come on I know you have to be bad ass in front of all your brothers, but this is 2014 and if you are going to ask your woman to not see other men how can you not thing that she would expect the same consideration. Over all a very good read and sex scenes were very hot. Can't wait to see how the next story will unfold.

MILD SPOILERS TO FOLLOW! I enjoyed this, that's not a question. Loving Ruger and his alpha male persona was easy. However, that said, Sophie worn me down to the point of wearing me out. She was always LEAVING. He loved her, it was evident to the readers, he just loved her HIS WAY. She didn't get that so she kept telling us she was leaving. A lot of inner dialogue seemed a bit repetitive, but Ruger had my attention and I loved the story - for him alone - and this says a lot when one character can keep your attention the entire time. Again, I realllly liked the story, but I'm unsure how this author could have topped Horse in book one anyway - that's tough! I will definitely read the next installment, love this author!

I read this installment in one sitting. I love a good MC book and Joanna Wylde knows how to do it right. Just the right amount of MC raunchiness and alpha male behavior. Not as over the top as Madeline Sheehan, a little more so than Kristen Ashely (although KA's Motorcycle Man is my favorite MC book). If you have read and liked Reapers Property I need say no more, you will love this. If you haven't, try it out. Definitely worth the price and I can't wait for Em and Hunter's story in June.

I really liked this book. Even though it absolutely frustrated me with the back and forth, it was very good and VERY STEAMY!! I really wanted to not like Ruger because of his blasé attitude toward relationships, but no matter what I just couldn't help but love him. Sophie drove me a little nuts with the judgment thing, but at the end of it all she pulled through. I am so glad that all of my favorite characters from RP were very much present in this book, and I CANNOT wait for the next one!!

After reading countless other motorcycle club books (besides Joanna Wylde) I just got tired of the BS. It was the same thing, verbal abuse, cheating, indifference......and from the "hero". I don't know how people find that romantic or swoon worthy in books. Joanna is the ONLY author I'd read this for this genre. She makes being bad soooooo good. Don't want to get into specifics but the H and h are great. Bad boy with no BS taking girl. The only reason this book didn't get 5 stars is because it started to drag towards the end to me with them being apart. I wish they would have gotten back together sooner and worked from there instead of the back and forth. I can't wait for Devil's Game.

Rugger was just HOT!!! Sophie was a cute single mum trying to make ends meet after a disastrous and abusive relationship with Rugger's stepbrother. LOVED the 'old lady's' in the book. These side characters were hilarious and loveable. I really enjoyed this book.
Ok so there were times I got annoyed with h and her 'oh I can't be around this sort of influence' completely forgetting why H had to come get them in the first place. Buy hey, everything else made that bearable for me. Just:)
Try this out. It kept me up till 3am!

Sophie's life isn't easy or uncomplicated. Eight years ago she got pregnant, the father turned out to be less than reliable, but his brother stepped up instead. Too bad he's a biker with a revolving door to the bedroom -- err, his pants =). When her sitter endangers Noah, Ruger gets fed up, he's taking Sophie and Noah back to his place, no matter what.
Can Sophie live this life, sharing a house with a man that stirrs feelings she doesn't want, and getting involved with the Club?
Smutty fluff, an Alpha biker not taking no for an answer and the woman who doesn't want to share him. Awesome addition to this series, smutty fluff and biker life.

While eagerly waiting for this book I re-read Reaper's Property and I'm glad I did because I couldn't remember who Ruger was. I loved this book. While not making me screaming in excitement when reading, like Reaper's Property did, I still really enjoyed it.
I kept swaying between liking Sophie and thinking she was an immature snob some of the time, but given that she didn't really get to grow up like most normal teenagers, I forgave her.
And Ruger? He is now battling with Horse for the top spot as my favourite biker book lover. The sexy scenes between these two were hot off-the-charts.
A good installment in the Reaper's series. Bring on Em and Hunter's story next!

Ruger...what a guy. He loves his nephew and Sophie and hates his brother. He finds out that Sophie is in a bad place and decides to take matters into his own hands and take care of them the way they should be. Ruger has been in love with Sophie for years but she doesn't want anything to do with the club. They have they're ups and downs and finally see where they need to be. This book was even better for me than reading about Horse and Marie and I didn't think that was possible. Can't wait for the next installment.

I loved this book. It’s raw, gritty, and incredibly sexy. Joanna Wylde’s writing, characters and settings are skilfully penned, making for serious page-turners. The whole thing felt very real and very dangerous and I couldn’t stop reading. The s*xual tension is off the charts, bubbling beneath the surface constantly, and when it spills over… well… prepare to get seriously hot under the collar. S*xy, dark, realistic and yet romantic, Reaper’s Legacy is a book I’d definitely recommend to erotic romance fans, especially if they like their reads gritty.

Definitely 4.5 STRONGLY!!! The book was great and Reapers story is so exciting and I did not want to put the book down!!! I Loved how Joanna made his character a "blunt, in your face" honest guy that told you like it was and "what you see is what you get"...I enjoy how the relationship develops with His "property" and her son and the connection of the "son" with Reaper. I did NOT want to put this book down. I NEVER thought I would want to read about "bikers" BUT they are a "world" genre of their own and I am enjoying different authors take on their worlds.

As with the first in the series, Reaper's Property, this one did not disappoint. there was all of the rough rugged biker fun, with a bit of a soft side. You know how in all of our wildest dreams the bad boy gets tamed by the girl he can't live without. It's kind of like that, but with one hell of a ride along the way. Ruger is one sexy alpha, but Sophie is no pushover, and you know how I love my feisty women. Well worth the read if you're looking for a biker romance to heat up your nights.
I can not wait for the next one, and I know who it's going to be about. Em might actually get some.

3 Stars - Ultra Steamy

It's hard to get past Ruger's crass, abrasive and deplorable behavior towards Sophie. Yes, he's an inked-up-biker-sex-God, but he disrespects Sophie on a regular basis and flat out refuses fidelity. Hot lovin' aside- there's not much there to commend him particularly as a hero. He's no Horse- a man who I thought possessed a rough likability.

This story entertained but not enough for me to auto-buy the third in the series- Devil's Game (Reapers MC #3). Best wait for a sale.

This one was good, funny, sad and frustrating. Loved how horse kept giving Ruger love advice lol. Ruger would just get pissed. Took a long time and crap to happen for the two to work out in the end but so good.

I thoroughly enjoyed Reaper's Legacy it was entertaining from start to finish and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Having said that, I honestly liked Reaper's Property better; mainly because Ruger's complete attitude turnaround seemed to happen in one uneventful paragraph and BOOM it was done. Even though part of the story was written from his POV I didn't "get there" with his feelings for Sophie as much as I did with Horse's feelings for Marie in Reaper's Property.

The set up for the next novel was very good and I very much look forward to reading it.

Ruger. Ruger. Ruger. *sigh* I love him. He was an arrogant, sexist, know it all, man whore with a heart of gold. Especially toward his nephew. The bond between those two was refreshing to read about in a biker badboy novel. Ruger's relationship with the boy's mother, Sophie, was hot and frustrating and raunchy. The descriptions of the piercings alone are an awesome reason to read this book.

Sophie was a little bit annoying to read about occasionally. She seemed too impetuous at times. Thankfully that was rare. As a parent, I understood where she was coming from and I'm glad that eventually, she realized the truth of MC life. We got to watch her grow up in this book. She went from adamant to I'll try it. I liked that. Her interactions with the ladies of the club were hilarious. What WAS that party gift, really?

Reapers Legacy has sex, violence, margaritas, sexy bikers and a wedding. What more could you ask for?

Loved this story as much as the first.

**********spoiler alert***[***********

I really love how the guys can get themselves in a lil trouble and the girls don't
That s****. I've read a couple of bikers stories and the H after making a certain girl an
ol' lady and they would cheat on them still or something worse and the author will make
The h basically a doormat. Like my first review on reapers property this story is told in
First person instead of third person. I'm sorry it's just for me personally I like reading a
Story in third person but at least you get to know both the h/H because I have read stories
In the first person view and all you read about and get to know is the h and you have know
What the H is thinking because I love to know what both the h/H are thinking not just one
Of the characters. Besides that I couldn't put my book down at all and of course I like happy
Endings!!!

Sophie and Ruger steam up this second book of the series. Wylde is able to give an original plot and incorporate the club members with depth. She has a great ability to develop multiple characters without causing confusion. The steam almost melted my Kindle. I have Kindle read to me while I exercise, and I got extra hot and sweaty with this series (ha ha). Wow.

Not sure I could deal with the biker lifestyle, but a hot, tatted, pierced (in all sorts of interesting places) biker like Ruger might make me consider it. Sophie wanted Ruger...the biker life, not so much. Ruger comes to her rescue when life gets tough for her and her son. He'd do anything for his much loved nephew and if the boy's mom comes along for the ride, so much the better. Great story, but harsh. I'll definitely be reading the next in the series!! Can't wait to see what happens with Em and the Devil's Jacks!!!

Reapers legacy is just as good as reapers property! Like the first story once you start reading you can't stop. The story of Rugger and Sophie is so beautiful that some parts you want to put down as she can be a bit frustrating and Rugger is such a caveman! I also like that Marie and Horse wedding was included in this book. Truly a fantastic read.

The world, the intensity, the grittiness, the hot, hard, uncompromising hero. All these things make Joanna Wylde's Reapers MC books work in a big, big way. As to this being erotica, well, it has very graphic, explosive sex, so I would warn that it's not for the sexually faint of heart. However, while it is erotic, the characters and the romance and the world trump even the amazing sex. So I would say, erotic, definitely. Erotica, maybe not.

This is the second story in Reapers Motorcycle Club. If you love the MC style of series you'll probably like this one. This is the story of Sophie and Ruger. Sophie also has a very cute and clever seven year old, that keeps his Uncle Ruger on his toes. Basically Ruger spends his time trying to save Sophie from herself. He is trying to convince her that life with him in the MC will be better than life on her own.

Thoroughly enjoyed book 2 of this series. I generally liked the relationship dynamic, and Ruger with Noah was awesome. There was a fair amount of "learning" about motorcycle clubs which occasionally felt preachy.

This book also contains piercings and tattoos. Mostly, did I mention the piercings? Because this book has all of my favorites. Every. Single. One. *swoon*

This series grabbed me with the first book Reaper's Property and Reaper's Legacy was even better than that. A Very gripping story line that keeps you coming back for more. Very down to earth charterers in this story that you could relate to even when you are not into the MC life.

I can't wait until June to see how Em and Hunter's story plays out.

Ok, Reaper's Property was probably one of my favorite books of 2012- so if you haven't read that one I highly recommend you 1-click ASAP!!!! When I was offered an advanced copy of Reapers Legacy I immediately started jumping up and down (honestly, not even kidding)!!!

Reapers Legacy centers around Ruger, who we were briefly introduced to in the first book. Being a member of the Reapers he has a strong commitment to his brothers within the MC, but we also learn he has commitments to his stepbrother or more specifically his stepbrother's ex-girlfriend, Sophie and his nephew, Noah.

Sophie is doing the best she can with no support from her sons father. Her own parents disowned her at 17 when she refused to have an abortion. The one person she can count on is her ex-boyfriends stepbrother. Ruger is the only father figure Noah has ever known. Luckily for her when she really needs Ruger he comes through...whether she likes it or not. From that point forward...just wow!!! Ruger and Sophie together made me laugh, shed a couple of tears and on a couple of occasions I wanted to throw my kindle at them!! I am not going to give any spoilers because I really want you to be able to enjoy it all yourself!!

I LOVE books that involve bikers, but I have to say this one was absolutely AWESOME!!! Like at only 5% through I knew it was going to be amazing and by 60% through I never wanted it to end!! Joanna does a fantastic job of writing about bikers and keeping their edge but at the same time telling a warming story!! So you get the alpha male biker, but with hearts and flower, but not too much where it's completely unbelievable.

I read this in December and I honestly think it was my favorite book of 2013. Like I said I am a complete fan of biker romance books- BUT I really think even of you aren't a super fan like me you will definitely enjoy this book!! I give this book 5+++ stars, if I could give it 100 stars I would!! I just loved this book that much!!!!

I loved Reaper's Property so I was really looking forward to this book but I was very disappointed. I just didn't connect at all with the characters and felt the story was rushed. Ok, so here is the thing. Great book. Hot scenes. Alpha Male like you would not belive. But I liked Marie and Horse's Story better. Here is the deal, Sophie was annoying! She was so back and forth it made me dizzy and I didnt like that about her. Without such a strong male lead, this book might not have been a success. But it was, just wish Sophie was stronger heroine. Anyway, great job, Def must read. Cant wait for Hunter and Em story!
