Tempting Boundaries (Montgomery Ink Book 2)

Bit of a light weight story line. Both characters were likeable. Could have had more depth to the story especially involving Jack. I felt like Jack could have been used more thru out the book, a bigger threat. I did like the large family angle, will make for interesting stories in the future. I am going to read Meghan's story and will be looking forward to Griffin's. Would have given a 4 star, but did get so tired of Decker being referred to as family. We got it after the 20th time, he is family!

Decker and Miranda have known each other for years. I like when the couple have past history. She is the little sister to Deck's best friend and off limits. Did not see the problem with him dating the sister myself. I think too much was made out of it. Griffin (brother) finds out and just loses his sh*t on Deck. Again, I was confused why would he not want his sister to get with a man he knew and respected? You are lead to believe he is upset because Deck kept it a secret but again it was made way into more than I felt needed to be.

Decker had less confidence in himself than I like in my H. Wallowing over not being good enough and she'll never love me if she knows the real me but then turning into this dom who knows all Christian Grey's handbook was not believable. I didn't feel a true love but more of a lust vibe throughout. Miranda was written very free and no inhibitions, which is not the way I like my h's. I like them saucy and sassy, yes, but there was something about the way she is written I did not like completely. I think the book had a lot of potential but the main disappointment was not getting to see Decker protect Mir instead it is after the danger has past that he gets to Miranda's side. I read the entire book wanting to see how it ended which gained the three star rating but I like more man in my H than the knowledge that he has a prince albert.

I want him protective and to see his sweetness toward the h. It is the little moments an author adds between the H/h that seal that relationship and I missed it here. I felt the sex is what the author wanted to sell more than what romance and love is. Dirty, vulgar language used more than letting us see the sweet talk the next moment. It was almost like she was creating this ultimate bad boy vibe and forgot to show the other side. Rescuing the h or seeing him stand up to the villain would have helped. Enjoy!

This couples love for one another is maybe a little on the taboo side but not ! So enjoy the read and the audio if you like men to sound all deep and growly then you will love the narrator for these books ! !

This is the second book about the Montgomery Family and this one deals with the youngest Montgomery Miranda, who is just starting out as a school teacher when she goes on a date with Jack also a teacher at her school. Unfortunately for her Jack is not what he seems.

Decker was accepted into the Montgomery fold when he was much younger as he is and always has been the best friend of Griffin their youngest son. His home life left much to be desired, his father is a drunken brut who beats his mother so the Montgomery family unofficially adopted him.

Both Miranda and Decker are attracted to each other but neither have acted on it, she because he's older and he because he thinks he is not "good enough" and that the family will not approve. But when Miranda is attacked Decker's protective streak comes to the fore and he offers to teach her how to protect herself. The close proximity they are in during these "self defense" sessions makes them both realise that they want more together and they agree to explore their feelings and their relationship.

Once they commit their relationship takes off and they allow their love to grow and deepen. but once the family find out what will happen? Will their love be strong enough? Will Decker's feeling of unworthiness be overcome?

The love and the chemistry is off the charts, these two are made for each other but fate has a way of throwing things in their path and when something terrible happens to Miranda will their relationship survive?

This story was really well written, it has fantastic chemistry, the sex scenes are hot, sweaty and steamy. The tensions in the story make it a really emotional rollercoaster which had me holding my breath in places.

The whole family are involved in this story and doors are opened and closed on relationships involving all of them. It is a wonderful addition to an incredible series. I loved it and can't wait to listen to the next book by this talented author.

This book had me sniffling so much. There’s a lot to Miranda & Decker’s story than meets the eye. I couldn’t help wanting to give them both cuddles—and the urge to lock them in a room and force them to get over their issues. They have a lot to overcome and it was hard to watch at times. If you are uncomfortable with abuse themes, this might not be the book for you.

TEMPTING BOUNDARIES a was heart-jerking, emotional roller coaster that had me crying and had me sighing. It was steamy and heartfelt—a wonderful addition to the Montgomery Ink series. I need more!

Love the Montgomery Ink series as it revolves around a large family. All of the siblings have their issues like everyday people, but bond together to overcome them. Tempting Boundaries is Miranda's story. After loving her brother's best friend her whole life, they come together and have to deal with personal insecurities. Strong characters and a great story.

A pretty fast paced read, steamy, sexy, sweet, heartbreaking, and everything in between! There was enough action to keep me interested and not just sex every other page, which some may like. But there was a lovely little romance hidden among the action and a close-knit family I could be jealous of.

I absolutely love the Montgomery family! This book focuses on Miranda,the youngest, and Decker who is treated as another brother. These two have very different feelings for each other. As they work it out this is a great story. It also leads in to future stories. A definite must read.

Tempting Boundaries is a great additon to the Montgomery Ink series. The story was good and I liked the characters. I love how the author brings the family dynamics into the story. Looking forward to the next book

Carrie ann Ryan pens crack, so be prepared to get addicted. This is not the first in the series and if you start here you will be happy but will have cheated yourself out of some hot men, women who are dealing with real life and clawing to the top, and a truly great family dynamic. Long story short order all of her books you'll love yourself for it!

For honest review. Miranda is in love with Decker all her life and he with her . This story shows how family love and a past of abuse made Decker grow in his heart and soul for Miranda. A awesome story.

As always, this Montgomery Ink novel is a pleaser. I love Carrie Ann Ryan and have been a fan of hers for a long time. She is not disappointing with this series, In this installment, we see the unfolding story of Miranda and Decker. You'll love this story. Your heart will go out to Decker as the story of his past comes to light. And, as always, you'll love the Montgomery's for their closeness and love of family. I love how Carrie brings the whole family into the story, so you always know what's going on with all of them. This book has a good pace and, being the Montgomery's, they definitely keep your interest. Well worth the money, even though I was given this copy by the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. I would have purchased it anyway. Get yours today and settle down to an excellent read.

Decker Kendrick, an honorary Montgomery had a rough childhood. Growing up with an abusive and alcoholic father, he spent most of his time at his best-friend Griffin Montgomery's house. He worked at Montgomery Inc, the construction arm of the family business as the project manager under Wes and Storm Montgomery.

Deck grew up loving the Montgomerys as his own, he always had feelings for his best-friend's little sister, Miranda Montgomery but he never acted on those feelings. Now years later a grown up Miranda wasn't letting him slip away from her, no matter how much he tried to stay away.

Miranda Montgomery, the youngest of the Montgomerys has always been in love with Decker Kendrick. She was a success woman who knew what she wanted, when she let her feelings known to Deck and her family things didn't go as she expected.

Yet she never wavered in her stand not even when Deck tried to push her away to protect her from his ugly past. Miranda understood why he did what he did but he hurt her which in returned was like him hurting himself as well. That's how much they loved each other.

TEMPTING BOUNDARIES, 2nd book in Carrie Ann Ryan's MONTGOMERY INK series was mind-blowing, steamy, heart racing and well written. It was also about forgiveness.

Mrs Ryan knows how to pull her readers in and this book was no different. It had everything a reader looks for in a book. Two thumbs up and a recommendation to grab yourselves a copy.

There is nothing like this book. Hits close to home and makes me relive a moment of my past in a way.. I didn't get the happily ever after with him. But this story between Decker and Miranda is one that almost everyone can relate to. How do you love someone and let them love you and move forward when you don't thing you're good enough for them? Why do you wait til it's to late or til something bad happened to express your feelings and fears? This book will grip you in and not let you go til the end! I would give it 10 stars if I could! LOVE LOVE LOVE this!

Awesome book loving the whole Montgomery Ink series love this glad to see Decker and Mandarin get together and glad that his dad is back in jail and he got his mom out of the mess and wow so sad to read that Mandarin hooked up with a whack out guy as in Jack and glad that he wound up in jail him self but too bad that she got hit by him first with the fist then by car and hit again can't stand anyone who does that to a woman so great also glad to see that Decker doesn't think that he is anything like his dad loving this whole series. Friends to lovers. This is Decker and Miranda's story. It was a great story full of angst, love, sex and family and friends. I really enjoyed this story. I picked it up on book bub. I don't usually do tattoo stories, but this one enchanted me. I would definitely recommend.

This story was so unbelievably sweet and hot! I was so cheering Miranda on and hoping she'd just take control. The Montgomery's are such a strong unit almost to a fault in the gossip department lol. Can't wait to read more!

Decker and Miranda were 'kind-of' brother and sister - it wasn't official nor were they blood relations - and they were both holding off getting together because of this relationship.
Decker's father was rather heavy on the fisticuffs especially with his mother and this made Decker think it ran in his blood so he was afraid to get seriously involved with anyone.
Miranda is a teacher and she loves this but she has secretly been hungering after Decker for ages. She now decides that she has to find out if he feels the same way about her.
And this is where the story heats up. It's full of all kinds of things from a close-knit family to heavy sex with a bit of mystery, some violence and abuse and is so nicely written that you won't realize that the book has ended until it does.
I loved that this story had me so involved that I laughed and cried, sometimes got really angry and at times felt my heart beat a little bit faster.
In summary, it's a fast read, very engrossing and extremely entertaining.

This was my first read from Carrie Ryan. While I should have read book one first I did not. I was able to follow Miranda and Deckers story. Decker was the "adopted" through friendship son in her family. But Miranda only had eyes for him. When he tries to do what he thinks is right, Miranda winds up with a jerk. Making her way back from that mistake, Decker realizes he can be the man she needs. He's all alpha and full of some feat dirty talk. Definitely a series I will be reading!

I was pulled into the story from the start. Decker is an adoptive member of the Montgomery family and he craves Miranda, the youngest in the family of seven. It takes a date gone bad for him to open up to the idea and it takes him so much longer to realize that he's what she wants...faults and all. I enjoyed how the other family members are present in the story. I'm looking forward to reading more of these series.

Miranda has loved Decker forever. Finally she acts on that love. Many twists and turns they work it out. Loved the bit about doggy gas. What a laugh I had.

Loved the story of how Miranda has always loved Decker but thought she couldn't have him as he was almost lime a brother to her. He bas always loved her but thought be wasn't good enough for her because of bis father. The relationship takes some twists and turns. I volunteered to read this book for an advanced reader copy.

How can you not get emotionally involved with a character like Decker. Miranda's personality also gets you strongly involved in the story. You just hope they can overcome the past and you pray for a future for them.
