Passion Restored (Gallagher Brothers Book 2)

Owen is methodical and the organizer for himself and for his brothers and is looking to find the “one” like his brothers. Liz is a nurse and based on her experiences with love and relationships in the past all she wants is her independence and her career however fate may have other ideas. A chance meeting at a bar, followed up by Owen showing up in her ER after an accident and ends with them being neighbors. They are very attracted to each other and Owen wants much more from Liz but will he be able to show that he can be trusted and will Liz be willing to take another chance on love? I love how close the brothers and their spouses are involved in each other’s lives and how Liz and Owen fit despite her reluctance to have a relationship. Owen and Liz are perfect for each other. They both have their own quirks, so they really click and understand one another. That being said, I feel there wasn't enough depth to them. They each had insecurities that I feel wasn't fully explored nor resolved. Owen had insecurities about his place among his brothers in their company. Liz has issues with her past and her parents. Her father even makes an appearance, but it went no where. The same with Owen and his brothers.
Ryan writes wonderfully and I love her stories. I have read just about everything she has written. However, this one fell short for me. I felt like I was left hanging. A few more chapters to resolve issues were needed. I look forward to Murphy's book! He'll be a challenge for any lady!

A stunning, passionate romance that had my heart galloping right out of my chest! This book had some seriously great characters! I loved Owen's gruff, yet sweet personality. He had my heart racing, my palms sweaty and my knees weak, while Liz was the perfect mix of soft, sweet, and kind, yet the chemistry between her and Owen was SIZZLING HOT and the sexual tension left me achy and wanting more.

I love a romance that has the perfect mix of suspense and seduction and this one was even more tempting than I could of imagined. Carrie Ann Ryan is a fabulous writer and I loved every scorching, heart thumping moment!

Loved this book. Fun and sexy, with great writing and interesting characters Carrie Ann Ryan's Passion Restored is a wonderful read. I have a soft place in my heart for authors that have the time, talent and enough appreciation for their readers to create complex well developed characters and emotional stories for them. I love it even more when they use their skill to create a book series that truly lets you immerse yourself in the world they created. Showcasing strong family ties, off the charts sexual chemistry and two people that are perfect for each other. Liz and Owen are fighting a growing attraction with everything they have but it is a losing battle. I highly recommend this book.

Passion Restored is another hit in the Gallagher Brothers series. I LOVE the continued ties to the Montgomery family. While any of these books can be read as stand-alones, I highly recommend giving them a try.

I adored Graham from the start although it did take me a bit to warm up to Liz however. She had a rough childhood and despite his best efforts, she continued to keep Graham at a distance and even pushed him away, in my opinion, too many times. There were certainly some twists and turns I didn't see coming so this story kept me on my toes.

Overall, a great addition to the series and I am on pins and needles waiting for Murphy and Tessa's story.

This is Book 2 in A Gallagher Brothers Novel series. This was a really good book! Owen Gallagher is part owner/operator of Gallagher Brothers Restoration. He's really into organization and lists. Liz McKinley is an ER nurse. They meet in a bar then again later that night in the Emergency Room. Liz doesn't need or want anything to do with Owen. So we get to see how Owen decides to handle this. And yes, there are indeed several lists made in Owen's mind! This is definitely a keeper! I love this series. Carrie Ann Ryan has another hit on her hands with this book. Now we have the long wait for the next book in the series. Received an ARC copy for review.

This was definitely the Gallagher Brother story I was waiting for, When we first met the brothers Owen was the brother I most wanted to read about. He was the organized brother the one most put together and I wanted to see that organized shell crack under the love of a great woman. This was an amazing book and I loved every sentence that was written. This was a definite page turner, Owen and Liz are officially one of my favorite couples that Carrie Ann has written about. I cannot wait for the youngest Gallagher to get his book because if his story is anything like the others I know I will love that one too.

Carrie Ann Ryan always forces her heroes and heroines to face their past and fears. I enjoyed watching Liz find her way to Owen and the love and security that he could offer. I love Owen and his dorky organizational ways. He's so caring and steadfast, which is exactly what Liz needed. Liz didn't really grow on me. Usually, I can find some redeeming qualities in the baggage laden heroine, but she was just too much for me. And I wanted more from this story as it seemed a bit rushed. It was still worth reading to get Owen's story.

Another fab read from Miss Ryan, This book is totally different from the first I found myself slowly falling in love with the characters unlike the first book in this series where I was instantly in love.

I just love Gallagher brothers and how much family means to them it fills my heart with love and joy, everything about this book the story is on point and is just everything and more you want in a book.

All of Miss Ryan books are done with such flair and power.

I loved this story! Owen Gallagher owns and runs a restoration company with his brothers. He is the organized one, the planner. He runs into Liz, an ER nurse, a few times and sparks fly. Ends up Liz and her friend bought the house next door to Owen. Liz's job is on the line. She tries to avoid Owen, but seems to be failing. Because of her childhood, she steers clear of love- but Owen has other plans. This story is about life and love and how fate intervenes. I love this family and can't wait to continue on with the next story.

I enjoyed this book so much! Owen prides himself for his organization and independence. Liz is a nurse whose rough childhood has made her reluctant to get involved with Owen. Liz and Owen are wonderful characters and have a great chemistry. The steamy passion and unexpected twists make this book hard to put down. I really like how close knit the Gallaghers are and enjoyed seeing some of the characters from the other books. A fantastic story that you don't want to miss.

First the Montgomery Ink series, and now the spin off stories! Sadly I missed book one somewhere, but so happy that Passion Restored is easily read as as standalone! Owen Gallagher is amazing!!! I love the Gallagher clan. Carrie shows a lot of love within the characters and its hard as a reader not to leave a piece of your heart within the book once it is done.

Owen comes off as a strong, sexy, and independent man. He works hard labor all day, and can unwind with a cold brewski afterwards. And while doing that he meets Liz and her friend at a bar. Even though Liz seemed a bit standoffish, Owen still had some kind of a connection with her. Liz is a sexy, independent, blue eyed nurse. Fate just brings these two together. Unfortunately, Owen had to go through some physical pain to be back on Liz's path. But in actuality, no matter how they would run into each other, it was hard to resist to stay away from each other. Do they finally give in? You should check out this book and see what happens. You will not be disappointed. I tell you it gets chaotic and these two are a bit of a hot mess together.

Passion Restored is exactly what you get, passion. You are emotionally invested with the family, friends, and the story line. I was a mess in some areas, and then I was heated up in others. I am a big fan of Carrie Ann Ryan and I can not wait until the third book comes out, Hope Restored!

I love a series centered on a loving, close family, and Carrie Ann Ryan is a master at creating unforgettable families. I first fell in love with the Montgomery clan in her Montgomery Ink series and now it is the Gallagher brothers in her spin-off series - Gallagher Brothers. These are four very sexy men, who love fiercely and loyally. (One brother is married to a Montgomery, and his story can be found in Ink Enduring.)

Carrie Ann Ryan writes some very spicy books and Passion Restored is no exception. You might want to avoid reading this one public, because it is definitely blush inducing. Unfortunately, some of the sex scenes feel clinical rather than sensual and that isn’t a very sexy. Owen is adorable in his hyper-planner ways, and he melts my heart. This isn’t my favorite book of Ms. Ryan’s, but I love these Gallagher brothers and can’t wait for Murphy’s story next.

This book follows Owen Gallagher (the brother of Jake Gallagher from the Montgomery Ink Series) and Liz Mckinley. It sucked me in from the very first. I love all the different family dynamics and how no matter what happens to them, they are always there for each other. Including the people that their family has chosen as mates! Owen is just a naturally sweet and caring man and has no problem showing the people he loves that he really does care about them! Liz is a very complex woman. She had some very serious family problems growing up and has a hard time moving past them. It shaped the woman she is today and how she feels about relationships, and I can't blame her a bit. The fact that she is strong enough to be with Owen and get their HEA? Loved it!! I loved the fact that Owen never walks away, he is a rock! And she finally realizes it in the end! You will every step of this book and want to go and read all the other books by this author I promise you! I can't wait for Murphy's book!

Owen story was wonderful!! Carrie Ann Ryan did it again with this story! I couldn't get enough of this book! It didn't take me long to read it and all the Gallagher brothers are wonderful and amazing in their own way and it makes the readers crave more to just get a glimpse of them and their lives everything they go through and what their struggles are as a result. Owen is the organizational wiz of the brothers everything must be in order and in its place and the one thing that throws his life into chaos is Liz and she is a force just as all the females in the series strong even if they don't think they are but the one thing she doesn't do is relationships so Owen Gallagher is off limits and she wants to keep it that way. This book was awesome, amazing and a ball of wonderful rolled into one. Loved every detail and getting to know this Gallagher and a bit more of his family in the process.

Another awesome book in the Gallagher series by Carrie Ann Ryan. Loved Owen & Liz and the way he stayed by her side through all her issues. Loved the supporting characters from previous books. Cannot wait to read Murphy's story.

Looking forward to Murphy's story. The author did a good job with the issues the characters faced in this story. Disaster was quickly averted, I hate a book that keeps on and on with the ups and downs until it's totally unbelievable, this IS NOT one of those books.
