I enjoyed reading this series quite a bit. The story line twists and turns enough to not get stale and the characters continue to evolve. I feel content finishing one of his books not cheated like finishing the story was a burden.

I will continue to read more books from this author.

Excellent continuation of the Spinward Fringe series. A very complicated and increasingly widening cast of characters is handled adeptly. I really, really wish the author could hire a copy editor. I hate to nitpick but the typos and misspellings break up the pace at really awkward moments. I look forward to reading more.

Keeping it believable while introducing remarkable concepts is hard, but this series seems to do it with ease. Hard to put down, well spaced action, intrigue, plot twists, great characters, and drama. Plus thought provoking probes into humanity, and the horrors of war. Please keep writing!

I eagerly read through all of the previous volumes in this series but after finishing Framework I just shrugged and said, "Ouch". I applaud the author's willingness to go off in new directions but I found myself skimming the machinations of the "evil masterminds" thinking, haven't we been there, done that already in this series? The action sequences, as always, were well written and I still find the Victory Machine fascinating, as well as Roman. Also, I appreciate the author's intestinal fortitude in killing off characters other writers would consider off-limits just to show the unpredictable nature of the conflict. However:

SPOILERS WARNING
In the end, the one thing that stuck with me was what I saw as a fundamental betrayal of the primary focus of the story, the relationship between Ayan and Jacob/Jake. For either to fool around after a fight and have a meaningless fling would be one thing, but the suddenly blossoming, close and passionate relationship between Liam Grady and Ayan seems to fly in the face of everything the author has put us through so far. For that, I doubt I will continue to stick around for any further broadcasts. To say I was disappointed would be stating it mildly. Also, I am TIRED of Wheeler- he is a cockroach and not even an interesting villain anymore. Well, not my concern since I am opting out of the rest of the series. Sorry if this sounds more miffed fanboy than straight up review, but fans of this series are known to be passionate about the storyline and I guess I am no different.

The problem with reading an author that is still writing is that you need to wait for the next release.
In Broadcast 7 he did what he said he would - tied up the threads.
And then he started a few new ones - can wait for Broadcast 8 [but I want it NOW!]

This is my first review ever on the store, never felt the need to write down my views on here before! This series is an absolute riveting read from the very first book in the series till now, the writing style and pace of the series has been maintained from the start, great characters and a fantastic plot line will have you coming back for more.............Love it!

Loved this book, read and re-read every book thus far, Randolph Lalonde has written some of the best sci-fi out there. Memorable characters, in-depth plot, creative and engaging backstories. Love every moment of his books. I enjoyed his most recent book before this: Expendable Few, but it was great to be back to the characters with whom you have become acquainted over the years. I am so excited and interested to discover what comes next!!

The primary characters developed in the start of this series are still with us and further developed. A few are gone and attachments have changed but the simple goal of fighting for freedom in a rather nasty galaxy is still with us. Good read. I am ready to start Broadcast 8.

Another amazing book in the series. Lalonde has yet to disappoint with the spineward fringe series. Only downfall is that it's so engaging you won't be able to stop reading and the end will come far to early.

If you haven't read the other books starting with Broadcast 0: Origins (which is FREE), then stop reading B7 and get the others.
Randolph Lalonde is one of the best Science Fiction writers of the day. Some readers get hung up in the technical details. Their loss, because the characters and story is where the real experience exists. I've ReBroadcasted (i.e. re-read) them all.
Enjoy the ride!!!

Well written and good character development. Interesting science concepts and ideas. Reminiscent of Clark, Heinlein and Asimov. Good structure and follow through. Waiting for the next book. Very pleased and good job.
