The book brings a fresh perspective to the underrealm series, shedding new light on the events in shadeborn, interesting characters and it helps explain mahic better, my only complaint is that the book wasn't long enough, that or i read it too fast since i did not want to put it down. Garrett Robinson is continuing to do great work, i eagerly await the next installment.

This book that is also about the Underrealm. Now we see what it is like at the Academy where all wizards are trained to learn their spells. Reading about Ebon and his trials was as great as the Nightblade series. And the end will be a total shocker.
The Sorceress (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel) :: The Neutronium Alchemist (The Night's Dawn) :: Alchemist Academy: Book 1 :: Reverse Disease and Heal the Electric Body - Alkaline Herbal Medicine :: The Warlock (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel)

Great story with well developed characters you can't help but love. I was skeptical, wanting to hear more of the Nightblade story, but this story actually fleshed out Nightblade in addition to being a great read of its own.

I am an avid reader of fantasy and Garrett Robinson has been one of my favorites for a while now. This book takes you on a wild adventure of family intrigue and mystery as well as action! I can not wait to read the next book in the series! Keep 'em coming Garrett!

Another great thread in the fabric of the Underrealm! It's fun to see how characters and events weave themselves into the timeline of Garrett's other Underrealm novels. I loved being able to see events from other points of view. I cannot wait to read the next novel. Underrealm is becoming a land near and dear to my heart.

124 uses of the word "mayhap" in 300 pages - really? Mayhap I will see the stupid word six times on one page! Perhaps when the author graduates middle school and has a larger vocabulary the writing will improve. Until then don't waste your time with this tripe.

The newest series in the universe of Underrealm is perfect for you if you've ever wanted to know more about how the magic of the world works. Ebon's schooling gives us a great look at the intricate magical system and what all four branches can do. It's great to see the world of Underrealm from another perspective!

The Alchemist's Touch is a great concurrent telling of what is happening to other characters in this series. I would highly recommend it to anyone who finds Garrett Robinson's writing fun, and engulfing. I was drawn in and intrigued throughout the whole book.

A great addition to the Underrealm world. A slower start than the Nightblade series, but the book gets to some fun and exciting adventures. I like how this book ties the two series together as well.

A nice openning to this new arc of the Underrealm saga. Feeling smaller and more individualistic than the Nightblade serie. But it show some troubling similarities with an other well known saga (HP), but transposed in a more high/herioc fantasy setting.
