Lots of useful information. Enjoyable read packed full of essential advice if you want to grow the dank heavy green. I withheld one star only because the crass prouct placements the text is riddled with are a bit annoying. But hey, Ed has to get paid!

This publication is for beginners thru experienced. The knowledge is accurate but not boring. It has little fluff and a reasonable amount of helpful pictures. You will refer to this book over and over

Hello fellow purchasers I'm writing this review for helping other people don't make the same mistake as my brother of purchasing another book about marijuana cultivation other than this one. To put it really simple and clear for you: This book is by far absolutely the best book on marijuana cultivation for rookie and experienced growers that you will find anywhere. If you are a Pro Master Grower perhaps this one is not for you, but for everyone else from novices to very experienced and expert grower's this is the best one without a doubt and no one can argue that! I love this book, it has everything covered.

This is an awesome book! All growers should have this information at their disposal. The author really went to a lot of trouble going into great detail about educating and growing cannabis. This is a MUST for any grower's collection!

Very useful book. Some information has value beyond the growing of marijuana. Lacks a bibliography so it is hard to know how much of the information in the beginning of part one is proven scientifically. The chromatographic charts were interesting though. All very interesting if it is all true. Book makes a nice gift, so I have bought more than one copy.

This is a great inclusive reference. Although not a book you sit down and read cover to cover, it is a book that covers all aspects and a great place to look up and read about all stages of growing. Great addition to any home library.

I had a copy of Jorge Cervantes' Marijuana Horticulture Medical Grow Bible, and the information in that book was a bit more detailed in terms of setting up a garden, understanding the needs of the plants, and even offers a section on genetics and breeding. Knowing how prominent Ed Rosenthal is as a grower, I was a bit disappointed at the content of the book. For example, there is an entire section dedicated to explaining how terpenoids, THC and THC-delta9 affect the brain, and how those effects are perceived. In that same section, it outlines the different isomeric structures of the THC molecule. When I moved on to find detailed information on the curing process, I found a basic two to three page section that barely describes one of the most important processes in producing medical cannabis. The section devotes more time to the expensive gadgets that are used to trim the flowers, and barely covers what the buds will do while curing. Personally, I think it would be a better investment to go with Jorge Cervantes' book and dvd.
