A very unusual love story of three woman , his newly made , widow, his mistress, and his sister-in-law and their joining together after his sudden death. I did not want the book to end, and can't wait for the next one

I surprisingly really liked this book. Sure there are some grammar errors but if you look past that its very good. VERY unrealistic which I personally like lol. I have finished all 10 and the way that it ends I hope there is an 11th! I do recommend this book it is so full of scandal and drama which I usually don't like. This was an accidental find and I'm glad I found it. :)

Pam, widowed and betrayed, becomes a survivor in a story finely crafted. I don't want to reveal anything about the plot or characters because part of the magic of a good book is the pace at which the story moves.
Suffice it to say that the characters are very well developed with depth; the story is original and unusual, all in all just a dandy read.

I have finished the complete seriew of Pam of Babylon books and love them! I couldn't wait to start the next book as soon as I finished. I just got off her website and found out there is going to be a #13 in the Pam series coming up in June 2016!!!

I enjoyed this novel very much. Loved the character development and scene descriptions, as well as the many twists and turns. Knocked off one star for subpar editing. It wasn't saturated with errors, but there were enough here andthere to be distracting. (For example, a missing word in some sentences, the wrong character name referred to, use of the word "breathe" in lieu of "breath"and then"breath" in place of "breathe" in the same paragraph, etc.) Those kind of grammatical errors realty grind at me, but they were occasional enough and the story good enough that I would still heartily recommend this book. Please just do better editing, folks!
Looking forward to starting the next in the trilogy right away

This series builds and builds until you MUST read the next book. How one man can entangle so many people in heterosexual, homosexual, and any other activity imaginable was incredible. I caught myself thinking OMG, what has he done now. How (and why) did he ruin the lives of so many people from all walks of life....to satisfy his depraved "needs". What were the origins of his needs??? His wife, Pam of Babylon, suspects nothing. Or does she? Did she choose to keep her head in the sand in order to maintain her "perfeact" world?

Pam of Babylon by Suzanne Jenkins is just the book to keep your blood tingling! Starting out with a death in a family things just keep on spiraling out of control until the very end! A book worth reading.

I loved the complex characters in this story and I want to read more of the series. Everything is not as it seems and the story continues to unfold. I read this at the beach and really liked it. I recommend this for a good story with well developed characters. I highly recommend this.

I had never read this author before, but grabbed Pam of Babylon when it was offered as a freebie. This was such a page-turner. In fact, I was only into the book a few chapters when I decided to buy the next two in this series. There is so much going on and I really enjoyed it!

OMG! What a marvelous, intriguing and stimulating story! Pam is a strong and caring woman and has to endure one shock after the other. They seem more like Biblical plagues! The author knows how to hold her readers attention..with such real personalities of all the characters. I loved this book and completed it in less than 2 days. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I was drawn into this book from the first chapter. I liked all of the three female characters and the writing kept me interested through the entire book. My eyes seemed to gloss over any errors in spelling. I recommend this to anyone interested in family dynamics with a mystery thrown in for good measure

Surprisingly good book. Well written and moved along well. I didn't think I was going to like it, but have had two more of the series downloaded.

I would never have been so nice and understanding. Wonder if that woman really does exist.

Anxious to see what happens to all of them next.

I loved this story. This story is about a family and the things that happen to them and the relationships between them. It's a great story with a lot going on. Much of it is fast-paced. So much is going on you'll never guess what's going to happen next.

Suzanne Jenkins has overdone herself this time. This novel has everything that a woman may or may not go through in her life time. It starts out with Love, then betrayal, death, and restarting a new life and realizing there is still love in your heart. The characters are so expertly written that it's had to believe it's just a book. I couldn't stop reading it. I recommend this book for everyone.

This four-book series is fantastic!!! At first I thought it would be about three woman who were jilted by the same man, came together and ventured out on their own wild escapades. Boy was I wrong!!!!! Very well written! I couldn't put them down. I really wish there were a 5th and 6th book about Pam and her family.

This book was recommended by a friend who enjoyed the series. After reading the first book, I will continue to read the series. Has some surprises in the first book, that I hope continue to be explained and resolved throughout the series. Couldn't decided if I felt sorry the main character or if she's one of the most forgiving women around. Looking forward to her character developing as well as the other major characters.

This was different. Characters responded to life differently from what I had expected, interesting. I don't usually write reviews but this book deserved one. And although I don't personally know anyone like the characters in the book, I felt they were plausible.

This book has more twist, turns and surprises than any other book i've read in a long time! Pam has her head buried deep in that sand that surrounds her home until she meets her dead hubby's other "friends". I'm on the third installment of the series...good read!!!

I really really wanted to like this book, and honestly I read the whole thing so clearly it held my interestBUT- the story stretched credulity when chapter after chapter reveals new debauched behavior previously unknown to the women in this family. Really? You didnt know your husband was cheating, had been abused, was fighting with his brother, molesting his sister- yet you were close? Ok I forgive even that, as the drama keeps the pages turning- the writing however is stilted and uneven.

The typos (usually I can ignore) also made it tough especially when a totally wrong word is in place. But mosly it's the awkward sentence structure and poor flow that disappointed me. The author has promise, she's just not quite there yet.

What a great story that captured and kept my attention from the first to last page. The characters were described amazingly well, their twisted & meshed lives told an incredible story and the intrigue was developed early on and continued to escalate throughout the story. So believable....so descriptive....so wonderfully written. I want more of these characters.... The story is not over.... I'm anxiously awaiting a sequel.... I love Pam's insight, her compassion & kindness..... I sympathize with Marie .....I think the Mom's were portrayed as differently as any 2 could be.....Sandra , Sandra, what can one say ? And Jack.....WOW..... What a hot mess !
A great story for the big screen.....beautiful people, in beautiful settings, in a horrible situation ! The story has it ALL !

Much of this story was about three women -- not something I would think I'd enjoy, but... wow! The characters were very well drawn. The first half of this book may feel a bit dragged out, but all is necessary in order to set up the characters and this story. I admit to briefly thinking of quitting, but I was too curious to let it go. This was a very well woven story, with intricate details revealed at the right time and in the right order. The main theme is betrayal. To say much more about the story would be to add spoilers.

Upon finishing the book, I was delighted to find out this is the first of a series! So, this is not one of those leave-you-hanging endings. The book definitely stands alone. I have since read books 2, 3, and 4 (loved each one), and intend on finishing the series.

There were too many missing words, and a few other errors -- but most appeared to be due to Kindle publishing errors. Nevertheless, the author can go back and correct these.

This book was a fairly quick read...and enjoyable! The writing flows, story-line/plot is great....characters are life-like! It was one of the first Kindle books I downloaded and I was not disappointed.....with it or with reading it on my phone and PC. I'll look for more books by this author.

Interesting characters. This book inspires you to continue to the next book to see if Pam blossoms into the matriarch of this gaggle of misdirected and needy women. The plot moves forward smoothly demonstrative of modern families coping with newfound problems creatively.

This hooked me in the very first chapter. Then kept me reading almost non-stop straight through to the end. The story of a picture perfect family - or so everybody thought - falling apart due to one member's betrayal. Too bad beach season is over - what a beach read!
