Having worked with many ex-military that cannot tell their story, curiosity drew me to this book. It talks about the wars, the impacts on the people: innocent civilians and soldiers on both sides, PTSD, emerging technologies, the Muslim beliefs, and protecting our future.

It would make a great movie.

Excellent read with a decent plot and above average character building for this type of book. Technology was probable and well used. Protagonists were believable and interesting. This book kept me up late more than one night and I didn't want to put it down until I was done.

Not all debut novels contain well developed characters, believable dialogue, and enough plot twists to keep you guessing till the last page. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the sequel. Love where it ended. Please, Mr. Swaim, don't keep us in suspense too long.

Seal Team Six is probably the most advanced army trained team in the world. Whenever the army has to go to the last resort to accomplish a mission, Seal Team Six is called on to do the job. If they can’t do it, no one can. In Kevin Lee Swaim’s story, a much more advanced project is operating within the U.S army which is called “Project StrikeForce.”
In the book, the project is run by Eric Wise, a Delta Force Operator and he is assigned to train John Frist, a soldier who survived a bomb explosion while in his HMMWV. Frist is trained by actually being programmed into a more advanced human being to find the terrorist responsible for many different bombings. As Wise “trains” Frist more and more, he must overcome his own demons and he must also make sure that Frist will have no memory of his past so that he can perform his missions much easier and so that he won’t be able to reveal any classified information about the project.
I won’t give away any more details except for a few more things; this book is purely action packed. If you ever wondered what the “Expendables” looked like in print; this is how it would look. It’s also like reading a comic book with no pictures. Of course, you have to picture what’s going on in your imagination. I also want to hint about something else too. There were a lot of technical aspects with how Frist was being “trained”. This thought of mine always concerned me; with all of the technology the army has; could it actually do more harm than good? What I mean by that is when they perform technical stuff on the soldiers. Could it lead to more harm than good? As of right now, we don’t really know for sure but an entertaining clue would be to read Kevin Lee Swaim’s action packed book; “Project StrikeForce”.

This is a very interesting, well written book. Greatly enjoyed the storyline as well as the character development. The author does a great job of blending in technical content to enhance the realism of the story without going overboard and burdening the reader.

The author keeps the reader engaged the entire time and it's one of those books that's very hard to put down once you get started. I greatly enjoyed this book and look forward to hopefully additional titles along this line in the future.

What happens when you take a highly trained scum of the earth and conduct military grade bio-enhancement experiments and targeted memory destruction? LOTS! Meet the hero you hate to root for and the entourage of characters that make it possible. These are people who make the difficult choices so we don't have to make them. The story is so close to reality that I found myself wondering how much was insider knowledge and how much was pure fantasy. I could not put the book down until I was finished and hated that it came to an end.

Beyond entertaining, this fast-paced action adventure also provides a good "good for thought" when a terrorist does a 180! Does that make him a good guy or should he be executed for killing over 200 people before realizing he is a murderer?

In a world of judgements you never really know where a person can end up. Our judicial system is so over crowded and at times it seems broken. I think maybe science might be able to help some of these people who have been thrown in dark holes in a prison and forgotten till the day they finally die or they are put to death. And our prisons are not helping these offenders change their life choices. There has to be a better way.

This guy has the makings of a classic espionage thriller writer. Good character development along with multiple story lines that mesh well. Enough background of the characters is hinted at to keep you coming back and more
than just blood and gore. I will definitely read more
of his books.
