As a big reader, sometimes amidst the romance books I read I love to have a change and mystery novels are my go-to-reads. This one grabbed my attention as. First it was a Private novel featuring Jack Morgan and it had to do with the royal family. Private Princess takes us back to London where Jack and his team have been hired by the princess to find a missing person. As the team looks for her, the crew start coming up against danger as they are being hunted themselves. Who is out to kill the Private squad and ruin Jack Morgan? Is it to do with the case they are on or something more sinister. When it comes to the Private series for me, I either like the books, or I can't get into them. Private Princess was one that I could get into and read and as I had just seen the new Mission Impossible film recently - Fallout, the Jack Morgan Team reminded me of Tom Cruise's character and his team members. Private Princess was another fantastic installment in the Private series by James Patterson and also welcomed Rees Jones's into the world of James Patterson's novel family.

The Private novels have been among the best books with Patterson's name on them. This one just wasn't in the same class as the previous stories. The plot didn't seem to be constant and things kept going all over the place. I found it stupid that the main characters are always very tired in many recent novels (not only Patterson's); it's not interesting reading. And how many times should the main character lose his gun? Sure stretches things out. And Private England should be carrying weapons; taking bare hands to a gun fight is unreasonable and silly. I 'm sure I'll be waiting for the next Private novel, reluctantly!

I have read most of James Patterson's novels, including the Private series. Most are quite good, especially those without a co-author. This one is, however, absolutely awful. The beginning is very slow moving, with little action and ponderous dialog and excessive descriptive verbiage. I'm not going to read another Private novel, particularly with this co-writer.

Princess Caroline, a member of the British Royal family, enlists Private 's help in locating her missing friend. And when a businessman commits suicide the connection between the two cases starts to unfold. Will Jack Morgan survive or is this the end of the road? A real page-turner with plenty of fast paced action. Jack Morgan is the new James Bond! Highly recommend.

I think this series needs a new narrator. I enjoy the story, but I find myself zoning out and missing stuff. I try to make myself focus, but it doesn't work. I had to re-listen to parts several times. I would try to read them, but it's easier to get the audio and I have so many other books I'm reading that this would fall to the very end :-(

I don’t understand the negative reviews. This book was fantastic!! I couldn’t put it down, even reading through a few nights because it was that good!! Very well written, page after page packed full of excitement, a very visible story. Great connections, full of surprises that come together well. The best book I’ve read in a long time. EXCELLENT!!

Another great book by my favorite author. This installment of the Private series had a slow start but then took off and I couldn't stop reading. Flex is the ultimate evil foe that only Jack Morgan can beat.
