What a wild and wickedly hot book Chased was. This was a hot and wild ride that leaves you breathless. Chased continues from Caged and Locked which are the first ones in the series. Chased is dark and gritty and sexy filled with great characters just like the two books before it. Serena is bought by Chase from an illegal trade. Chase is rich and ruthless he buys Serena from an auction and keeps her locked away. Chased keeps you glued to the pages and keeps you guessing until the very end of the book. I can not wait to read more in the future.

Clarissa blew my mind! Her writing is easy to read and it's so easy to get sucked into the book. I started the book at 11 pm, thinking I'll read for an hour and go to bed...HA! I finished the book before stopping! We met Syrena in the first book, Caged. Although it isn't necessary to read the first book, it helps so the mention of other characters makes sense to the reader. Chase is a troubled soul who hopes Syrena will save him. It turns out, they both need each other! I hope the next book is about Brandon....more please!!

Serena was kidnapped by Graham and keep in a cage. Serena had a hard life, she’s blind but her determination is still there. She was sold to Chase.

Chase is troubled. When he see’s Serena he knows she’s the one. He purchases her and something about her has him twisted.

From the beginning I was hooked. I’ve read the first two books in the series and couldn’t wait to find out what happened to Serena. The story keeps you interested from the beginning. Again another page turner that I had to keep reading. Who needs sleep when a story is so good you can’t stop reading.

This story had my heart beating outside my chest from the very start. The suspense kept building until the very end. I had wondered what became of Syrena since being introduced to her in the book Caged. Her story was about strength and overcoming the odds to find her idea of happiness. Chase had a deep, dark secret that would have been a deal breaker for most but not for Syrena. She was able to see past his troubling past and love him for the man that he was. This story was palpable and I loved how it seemed to wrap back around to the previous books in the series.

WOW...... If you haven’t read Caged and Locked, do yourself a favor, read those 2 books, then read this one. This is an absolute fantastic addition to this series by Clarissa Wild. Syrena Is one of the most intriguing characters from Caged and reading her story was great. Chase is another dark character, but so interesting. Great characters, dual POVs, fast paced, twists and turns, and twisted characters. Great job!!

OMG BRILLIANT!!!! I love Clarissa's books, all of them........she can tell a story that grips you from page one, and holds you to the very end....Chased is a dark romance that will have you hook line and sinker, it will push your boundaries and have you asking yourself, are you really ok with this? To find that heck yeah...........this makes the book!

Fast paced quick read full of twists and turns.
This is Syrena and Chase's story.
Interesting story but I honestly struggled to connect with the characters. The story felt rushed and there were things that Syrena did which had me scratching my head considering she was blind.

Deliciously Dark, Dangerous, and Demented. Chase and Syrenas story was amazing and I LOVED the way it intertwined with Lock and Cage. This was my Favorite of the three. A lot of action and the book keeps going with sooo much heat. Hot hot hot heat. Have the fan ready!

Awesome read. Well written with just enough of everything I look for. This book is a bit dark at times but I like that. Chase has a dark side & Syrena is just the right amount of light to balance him. I can't wait to start reading Locked.

This is the third book in the caged series and gives us a totally different take on the storylines from Caged and Locked. We first met Syrena as the blind girl in Caged, with Cage and Ella. Chase is beautifully broken for many different reasons and buys a girl from the monster to try and prove to himself if he has become worse than those he punishes. Definitely not for the feint of heart.

Clarissa Wild does it again! I really liked the plot in this book. The characters were well developed and the background was solid. I was very pleased with this story. Although the subject was dark, I found myself rooting for the H to win the Girl! HEA with no cliffhanger. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Well Clarissa’s books usually give me all the feels and Chased did not disappoint one bit. The story is simply superb, the plot is gripping and the characters are beautifully broken, at least that’s how I saw them. Definitely one click worthy.

Standalone, but best experienced after reading Locked. I gave this five stars because it’s fast paced, flows smoothly and leaves you a little sad when it’s over. If I didn’t already like her work, this would make me fall in love with her writing all over again.

After reading about Serena in Caged I was so happy to get her book. Serena is sold to Chase. Chase is a killer. The love scenes are smoking HOT! I was totally pulled into this story from the first couple of pages. A definite page turner. The twists and turns were so good! This is series of three books that you don’t want to miss reading if you love dark books!

Albeit not a series per se, it’s loosely – well, a bit more than loosely if you ask me – connected to her previous books CAGED and LOCKED, and I think it’s safe to say these three books are my favorite of her works to date. I love how the heroes’ names so perfectly represent what they’ve been through, or, in Chase’s case, his … well, morbidly fascinating character. I just love the kinky alpha bad boys – and their stamina, gulp! – Ms. Wild creates. I’m not sure I’ll ever get enough!

Chase is a dark depraved man with some seriously wicked desires. There’s not a good bone in his body, he is a killer – a monster which deserves the same fate as those he hunts. That’s a fact. A fact he is absolutely sure of. To further prove his point, he conjures up a rather macabre plan – which backfires in a way he wouldn’t have imagined in a thousand years…

Syrena. I’m so happy she got her own story!! Ever since meeting her in CAGED, she intrigued me. Such a feisty and strong girl, even though she oftentimes was in disadvantage, she was never slowed down by her disability of not being able to see. Yes, she is blind. And I absolutely loved what Ms. Wild did with her point of view: You were acutely aware that she cannot see, yet it didn’t matter at all, it just wasn’t what was focused on – and I admired that very much.

Their story is unconventional, electrifying and riveting. Compelling writing combined with strong characters and an impressive storyline that will blow you away. That’s about all I’m willing to say about their journey. You need to experience it first-hand and get its full effect.

Although I think it’s blatantly obvious by now, I cannot stress enough how much I adore this woman’s writing. The stories and characters her dark and oh-so filthy mind comes up with are unrivaled. She gets to me with every new book she publishes, even though or rather especially because these three novels do not have much to offer in terms of secondary characters – they simply don’t need it; instead, the books focus on the primal rawness of each of these stories, which has me curling my toes and gnawing at my fingernails.

Will there be another story like this one? I don’t know, but I surely hope so. I. Need. More.

I was enthralled with the characters of Syrena and Chase. You get a chance to see the progression of Syrena and Chase’s love—theirs was not a quick and easy love story because they had to overcome some dark issues, but loves does prevail. From the very first page, I was spellbound by these fantastically described characters that you will find yourself falling in love with—or not. This is Syrena’s story, and it fills in some of the questions from CAGED and LOCKED. Chase is an alpha man, who is handsome, sexy, and wealthy that goes after what he wants, he is an evil, ruthless, monster, his desires are not normal, and he lives for the hunt. There are several twists and turns within the storyline. You will revel with delight in this story with an erotic flare for the sensuous adult in you because there is a lot of unfettered sex. If you like dark romances with a dose of risqué and erotic with a pinch of sweetness, you’ll love CHASED. The scenes are well written, fast-paced, and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. This book will take you through an emotional journey of loyalty, trust, commitment, and love. The story will also pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.

Chased by Clarissa Wild was such a great book!! It's a dark romance but this isn't as dark as some of her other books I've read. At certain times in the book I thought of it as being a sweet and beautiful story. I know what you are thinking, "hey Clarissa is one of the Queens of Dark romance" and she most definitely is and it had it's dark moments but it was still a sweet story to read.

I was so excited to get Syrena's story and knowing Clarissa it was going to be a must read. With Syrena having lived the rough life that she had she was very positive and hopeful for better things to come. Even being blind she gave Chase hell and didn't back down, I fell in love with her and enjoyed her story.

Chase being the monster he believes himself to be, thinking he don't deserve love becomes quite the care giver Syrena needs. Even knowing some of the things he did were wrong I saw justification for it thru his eyes. Chase was a very disturbed man and to me that's where the darkness came in to play.
I really did enjoy the darkness he had especially when the sex came into play because OMG that was HOT, HOT, HOT!! I mean when they got together it was like an animal or monster as he calls himself was released. There is some smoking hot scenes..
I really enjoyed this book, it wasn't to heavy or to light. It was just all around a great book to read. I would recommend this to anyone who likes their books dark and sweet!!

Perfect for all his wicked needs. Perfect to prove just how far I am will to go. But there is just one problem....He is falling for her, deep fast and hard. Even though he is the bad guy. The man who keeps her locked away. He will do anything to make sure she stay. One thing is for sure...she will be his.

I really enjoyed this book. It is actually quiet the amazingly beautiful love story. Chase is a bad man. He has this habit of seeking pleasure at the expense of others. However those others are not exactly good people. They are criminals who somehow got away with their crimes and were never punished However, it is time for Chase to see just how evil and how far gone he is. This leads him to buying Syrena. Syrena who has been locked away in a cage for God knows how long. I really loved both of these character's. Chase who I just knew was not as evil as he thinks he and and Syrena who just wants to be free. However there are huge secrets. Secrets that Chase is going to find out but tends to not reveal to Syrena. This book is dark and twisted and will keep you guessing till the very end.

If you, like me, where instantly intrigued by Syrena in Caged and were anxious to get her story, you will be extremely happy with Chased. Chased is Syrena and Chase's story and it is my favorite of the series so far. As with the other two books, you can technically read it as a stand alone, but I recommend at least reading Caged so you can get Syrena's backstory.

Chase is the perfect mix of killer and heart and the kind of dark hero I love the best. After buying Syrena, Chase has a brief crisis of conscious though it doesn't last long and once that's over, he decides he needs to keep her. He doesn't make it easy for Syrena, but she has the perfect amount of fight to take him on and make everything worth his effort. These two are perfect together and though a few scenes may make for uncomfortable moments, it becomes clear to all involved Syrena belongs with no one but Chase.

Clarissa Wild has manages to give us another dark romance that has compelling and well fleshed out characters you will be intrigued by and invested in. I wasn't really sure at first were she would take Syrena's story after Caged, but I'm so pleased with how everything played out in Chased. Another well done dark read I can highly recommend.

When I realized that Chased was connected to Caged and Locked and was Syrena’s story, I was so excited to read it! I’ve loved these books and I just fall in love with these characters the more I read about that and this one was no exception. I wholeheartedly loved Chased and I think it’s safe to say that it’s my favorite in this connected world of characters.

I loved Syrena when we first met her and she just made me love her even more in Chased. She is strong and smart and fiery. She’s a fighter, she’s independent, and she’s a force to be reckoned with. Syrena challenges Chase and she never lets him off easy. She’s just a wonderful heroine and I’m so glad we got her story!

It was impossible not to love Chase. Sure, he’s not perfect, but he is a good man and it’s so easy to see how much cares about Syrena. Chase would do absolutely anything for her, she’s his entire world and I just couldn’t not love him for that. Yeah, he’s a little dark and messed up, but his good far outweighs any of the bad. I loved all of Chase though and there’s nothing I would want to change about him.

Chased was one hot, dirty read that I just couldn’t get enough of! It was full of heat and passion and it was so raw. It was darkness and light, heart aching and heart melting moments with so much love. Chased was such a beautiful, amazing read and I completely loved it.

Chased is a standalone, it’s told from Chase and Syrena’s POV, and they do get their happily-ever-after.

Chased is book three in this dark and twisted series. I recommend reading the first two books, Caged and Locked, however Chased can be read as a stand-alone. Chased is a dark romance about an anti-hero coming to terms with his conscience.

The story begins with Chase buying Syrena to prove a point. Once he comes to terms with his conscience he decides to keep Syrena for himself.

"But I can't let her go either. There's no way out of this. I have to keep her, for as long as it takes, for as long as I need to. I don't even know why... I just know that I have to for my sake. Even though it comes at a hefty price: Her happiness."

We met Syrena in caged. Where she had been living in a glass prison with Ella and Cage before being sold to Chase. Finally it's Syrena's story! I couldn't wait to find out what happen to her. She is a fighter and Chase gives her a run for her money.

Chase keeps several secrets from Syrena. He doesn't want to lose her. He fears Syrena could never truly love a monster who's keeping her as a prisoner.

The story is filled with dark twists and turns. I couldn't read it fast enough. The final revelation was a doozy but does a great job tying in the whole story. 4 Stars

As always Clarissa Wild brings another unique and refreshing twist on the dark romance genre. This is the 3rd book in the 'Caged' series, but could b read as a standalone. Syrena is bought by the enigma that is Chase, but even though she is blind she can sense a darkness that lurks inside of him, yet at the safe time she feels a sense of comfort and protection she has never had before. Chase is rich, powerful, successful, oh and he is also a killer!!!! Syrena must find out the hidden truth and Chase must try to let Syrena save his soul.

I always love reading Clarissa Wilds books, she writes with a sense of mystic and mindfuckery that has your adrenaline pumping and desperate for the next page for answers. The anticipation of getting to the biggest plot twists left me with my jaw of the ground, shouting in my head 'NO F*#KING WAY'!!!!! Some parts were left to interpretation for the readers which is creative to be more involved in the story. The characters are strong, dysfunctional, lethal and protective in a world of brutality and darkness. I would expect nothing less from a Clarissa Wild book, another great read.

Chase is a vigilante intent on punishing criminals who fall through the cracks of the legal system. He worries that he is as evil as those kills, so he decides to test himself. He purchases a young blind woman, but instead of killing her, he falls I move. Serena has spent several years in Graham's compound and she worries about Cage and Emma, hoping they are OK. Chase can't let her go and is determined to make Serena happy. However he has many secrets and each time he lets one slip, he risks losing her.
I Ioved how Serrena struggled to be honest to herself but in the end she makes the decisions that are right for her. I also loved that Chase loved her enough to let her make those decisions. The writing and editing were excellent and the plot unfolded slowly to an arousing and satisfying ending.

Disturbing, dark and delicious and Clarissa Wild has done it again! I didn't think I could fall any more in love with Clarissa's characters than I have in her previous books but Chase and Syrena are amazing. As you read their story your boundaries on what you thought are tested and challenged and absolutely hooked from chapter one. This story is brilliant and I wish I could tell everyone they must read this but alas this is a dark book and not for everyone. Kudos Clarissa on another amazing ride that once again I did not want to end!!!

This was a good conclusion to this series. I say series, but they can all be read as stand alones. If you read Caged, then you've met Syrena before. In this book, we finally get her story and find out what happened to her. I like Syrena, she's a strong, independent woman, and she doesn't treat her blindness as a handicap. Chase though is the real star of the book, in my opinion. He is an unapologetic anti-hero. He actually considers himself more of a monster than Syrena does! He does bad things, but he has his reasons for it, and he doesn't hurt innocents. I really like Chase, although I have to admit, I was pretty shocked when I found out the story about the birthmark! I can't say more without giving spoilers, so all I'll say is, you need to read the book! It was really good!!
