A delightful gay romance. When young beau is told the story of how theseus killed the minotaur, he cries over the minotaur. Through a comedy of idiocy he meets wolfram, a man cursed for wicked deeds. Beau sets out to break the curse. I read the story during one long too much snowy day. I'm kind of sad to put it down. It certainly cast a spell over me.

This was a wonderful rendition of “Beauty and The Beast”! I loved the Gary-Stu characteristics of Beau and the manly angsty beast Wolfram (sorry, forgot his first name). I loved the amazing twist at the end and please write more similar stories! I will definitely be reading this author’s other works.

This was great- such a fresh twist on the original tale, and it took that opening to address differences in others at large. What makes someone a monster? Why are certain people shunned? What would happen if we overcome our fears and see the world and people around us with new eyes? Amazing book- so well written!

Terrific read by a wonderful, always fresh storyteller! I've read all her novels and am truly always involved by all her characters and stories. This is a wonderful, utterly new turn on 'Beauty & the Beast" -- I love everything about it. From the very first scene, I was compelled and excited. Enjoy!

I was pleasantly surprised at this book. While you can feel the original story of Beauty and the Beast, there was enough differences to make the story fresh. I enjoyed this immensely and would recommend. It is a little long and wordy but so worth it. The ending was not what I expected and totally awesome.

Beau and Wolfram are amazing! I fell in love with them and their story, it was just perfect and beautiful! Beau's brother, Noah along with Lincoln, Violet, Alfie, James, Geoffrey and Song are all so memorable, this book is going to stick with me for a long time to come. I highly recommend you read this!

I truly enjoyed this retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The main characters were alternately endearing and infuriating, and I found myself happily lost in the sprawling penthouse with them. I especially appreciated the attention to the personalities of the rest of the team, not to mention the slow-burn-to-hot-as-hell chemistry between our MCs. I expect to come back to visit Beau & Wolf again and again.

My favorite tale with a different view. The author took a timeless story and gave it a new face. Upon reaching the end of the book I was left wanting more of this world. Here's to hoping the author expands on this and maybe come up with a few more tales with a different feel.

This was an interesting and incredible spin on the beauty and the beast story. Kay did an amazing job of spinning it for two men. An exhilarating read full of angst, frustration, misunderstanding, love and triumph of good over evil. Wonderful story.

It was a good romance and the story line delivered a modern MM "Beauty and the Beast" style story. I thought the sex was over-the-top and more than needed. Character development was adequate. Ends with a positive hope for the future.

I love fairy tale retelling, always have always will. this one brings a fun kind of twist to it one I actually rather enjoyed.
it wasnt the normal beauty and the beast retelling you can see the thought and intent in words and it was written almost poetically weaved together in this wonderful setting and feel. Its a great piece of realistic magic with the fun and humour 10/10 have been recommending people to read

I love fairytales, and I've always loved fairytales.
In fact modern retellings of classic fairytales, is something I consume with joy and a newfound excitement every time I find a new one.
"Beau and the Beast" was no different.
Based on the classic "Beauty and the Beast" I had some expectations of how it was going to go and while some of the expectations were met, I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh and different this take on the tale was.
The ending even managed to make me cry through the empathy I had for the characters and their relationships.
The writer chose to emphasize on the core message of the classic tale in a new and refreshing way that has this story in a league of its own.
I will 100% recommend this to anyone who loves a good modern fairy tale, or just want to read a well-crafted, well-written story
