This Beautiful well written love story filled with lust, anger, betrayal and forgiveness left me wanting more! I was so emotional at the end! I want to know what happens next! There has to be a follow up!!

Freaking amazing. My favorite book of 2015. I was so scared to read it and so glad I did. I have to stop here because I almost gave something away because I want another book so with that being said, loved it.

This book was absolutely beyond amazing! It triggered all of my emotions! I was elated, heartbroken, anxious, confused, bewildered but overall absolutely riveted to the story that was unfolding.
Sevin had a rough introduction to life and the more his character developed the more attached I became to him.
His childhood was filled with misguided beliefs about how he contributed to his mother's death.?
Don't get me started on his horrible step mother!?
I was so glad when Sevin was offered an opportunity to leave his life in Oklahoma behind.

Little did I know this would mark the beginning of a life changing journey! On his travels he meets Evangeline and his life will never be the same from this day forth!

Penelope Ward has written yet another stellar novel! Loved it! It is now one of my favourites!

I highly recommend this book to any reader who likes to feel a gamut of emotions whilst reading a book! Utterly fabulous!

Sins of Sevin was everything and more. I went into this book half-blind, only briefly reading the synopsis. IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THIS BOOK THEN STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GO BUY IT. Okay, now that you've done that, back to the review. Sevin has his flaws (just like everyone else), and he agrees to an arranged marriage. Along the way, he falls in love with his fiance's sister, and that's when all the feelings get hurt. I'm talking crumpled up into a sad little pile and thrown onto the floor to be stomped on. Their struggle is extraordinary and I just WISH I could know these two in real life. I will warn you now, the ending makes you want to squeal and cry and laugh through tears of happiness all at the same time. Bravo, Mrs. Ward!

Clear your schedule, because this tragic love story you not be able to put down. My Favorite by far from this author. I can not express how much I truly loved this. I mean WoW !! Sin of Sevin was nothing like I have ever read before. The originality in which this story is conveyed is amazing. Completely blew me away.

This is a definite must read. Penelope Ward delivers a beautiful yet tragic love story. Loved every single minute of it.

Wow.... Another outstanding book by Penelope Ward.... This book grabs you from the beginning to the end, and I mean the end!!

This book takes you on the journey of Sevin and Evangeline, how they met and the obstacles they deal with in life. This is one of those books that takes you on one heck of an emotional roller coaster from beginning to end...

I don't want to give away spoilers, but OMG Penelope outdid herself....this book has sex, anger, tears, heartbreak, more sex....and then some... I found at times I wanted to shake Evangeline and Sevin, but sometimes you don't get what you want and life takes you on another path...

Sometimes you have to out others before yourself !! If it's true love and it's meant to be, it will happen!

You will fall in love with Sevin...and Evangeline , phew.... See for yourself...

Sins of Sevin blew me away. It is heartbreaking. It is beautiful. It is sad. It is joy.

Penelope Ward runs the whole realm of emotions in this amazing book. Sevin was home-schooled and raised in an extremely religious environment. Upon his father's death he discovers a wife has been chosen for him. Elle, she is pretty, sweet and would make any man a great wife.

Sevin meets Elle's sister Evangeline and everything changes.

There are so many twist I didn't foresee that I couldn't stop turning the pages.

The writing is beautiful and descriptive and makes you feel every emotion that Sevin and Evangeline feel. It is told in alternating POVs.

Love love this book. Would highly recommend.

Without causing any spoilers, just will say this type of story, or plot always frustrates me because the character's reasoning is seemingly so flawed. They seem to cause all their own troubles for no real reason.

Warning: this book will rip your heart out and stomp it into the ground. But then it will pick it back up, dust it off, and shove it right back in your chest. It is the kind of book that I will need a few more days to process fully. I won't be able to read anything else because I'm still too affected by everything that happened in those pages. I haven't cried this hard during a book since (spoiler alert) Dumbledore died.

It is hard to talk about the book without spoiling it. But just know, you will go on a journey with Sevin and Evangeline that will make you elated, hot, depressed, hopeful, angry, and elated again. I lost myself in the book. That is how beautifully written it is. You forget your are reading someone's words, and instead think you are living their lives. Best $4 I have ever spent.

As usual Penelope Ward has managed to reduce me to tears. I enjoy her flawed characters, because there is no one among us capable of casting the first stone. I just can't seem to move her books back to the cloud once downloaded.

The first book I read from this author was “Stepbrother Dearest “ which I read end 2014 and loved!

I’m not religious so I guess I’m a sinner myself. I like books with a forbidden romance and the combination with religion intrigued me…

This was such a unique and emotional read with some unexpected twists. Not once or twice but several times I needed a short break between tears! (Warning : Keep lots of tissues available!). Evangeline makes a few huge sacrifices for her sister’s happiness and Sevin’s future. She is so strong and determined. My feelings about Sevin are double. There were some times I found him a jerk but he is also caring, sensitive and forgiving.

There were some time gaps in this book. Most didn’t bother me except for 1 which is a gap of 5 years. I would like to have had a little bit more about that time.
