I thought that it was a very interesting book, since it definitely went in a direction that I didn't expect. There were so many turns in this book that I felt very engaged. It was highly enjoyable. I think that my favorite element of the story was his bacon-obsessed big dogs.

Wow!! Blown away yet again by one of my favourite authors!! Thank you thank you thank you Penelope!
I Love Damien! I Love Chelsea! Together they are EPIC!!
A beautifully written story and I was hooked from the beginning to the very end.
To be honest, I couldn't afford to buy this book but once it was released I had no option!! I had to have it! Definitely worth it so if your also sitting on the fence then jump off and 1-click! You won't be disappointed!
5* plus from me!!

This was absolutely fantastic. It had me giggling and teary eyed all at the same time. I just loved Damien and Chelsea they were absolutely perfect for one another I also loved the Double D' s as well they were absolutely like kids always into crap especially with the Christmas tree that was so funny. I loved that Chelsea finally had her happy ending even though it took a while to get there. Now I would love to read about Jade and her happy ending maybe with Tyler who knows anything is possible.

I hadn't read Penelope Ward's previous Stepbrother Dearest book prior to getting into this, and, to be honest, this was so good, I couldn't bear to read Stepbrother Dearest. I hated her ex's guts so much for leaving her for his stepsister, and I loved Damien for her. I just couldn't go there. So, Penelope was so great, she scared me off of one of her own books! That's saying something. Such a feel-good book...It speeds up a bit too much towards the ends, but still wonderfully-written. Enjoy!

Angst...so much angst...is just oozes out of this book. It was a really slow read to me. Damien and Chelsea are amazing together...once they get there which took forever. Then there's Damien's secret which is heart breaking, but not unfixable. A beautiful ending saved it from 3 stars.

I want another book with his brother, Tyler, and her sister, Jade, hooking up. And I have no desire whatsoever to go back are read the first book, Stepbrother Dearest.

Although it is a standalone it does have ties with "Stepbrother Dearest" I haven't read that particular book so I wasn't lost in this story. I'm glad I didn't read that book because I wouldn't have felt or loved the chemistry these two characters had. It is slow in the beginning but once you read past it, you won't be able to put it down. I was anxious to get to the end just to know what happens and if it's a satisfying ending WHICH IT IS! I just wanted more in the epilogue.

I went into this read expecting something just lighthearted and sexy. I should have known to expect more from the author but I was surprised. This book was so good on a deeper level than a lot of books I have read lately. Still super fun, laugh out loud, and sexy. But also gut wrenching and tear inducing at times too. I want my own Damien in my life. I also love the other characters that were in the book. Just a great read that makes you happy and think about your life as well.

Neighbor Dearest was an emotional rollercoaster as Chelsea transitioned through her feelings. Damien and Chelsea's dynamic drew me in from the start. There were laugh out loud moments; as well as sweet, sad, and romantic ones.
Damien's reason for keeping Chelsea at arm's length is legitimate and surprised me. He was an interesting character and really made this book for me. So much more than what I was expecting!

Finished it in two days and I enjoyed every minute of this story. It was so funny, sincere and a lot of kindness as well. I also loved how the author kind of made fun of her other book in a way. You will see what I mean when you read this. I also like how tough and vulnerable both the male and female character were. But they both were strong for each other as well. If you are looking for a book to sweep you away into a sweet, hilarious love story then this is the story for you. Also reading Stepbrother Dearest would be a recommendation I would give you as well.

I loved how Neighbor Dearest continued from Stepbrother Dearest. Break ups are always hard and feeling the emotions Chelsea goes through its as if you were experiencing it yourself. Loved Damien's character but loved his rottweilers the Double D's even more.

I shed a few tears when I read about Damien's situation and the reason why he kept pushing Chelsea away. Never been more happy that love always prevails in the end!

This book is easily one of my favorite books this year. I was glad to see Chelsea find her happy ending. It is still hard for me to realize Damien isn't real life. That is just how well he jumped off the pages. He is the perfect mix of protective, sexy, and endearing.

I did cry, but it was fleeting. I don't know how she does it, but Penelope Ward continues to write the greatest modern day fairy tales and I am never let down.

This was so refreshing, I loved Chelsea and Damian! This was so sweet the way it unfolded. It was funny, emotional, and sexy times too. One of the biggest positives for me was there was communication! Yes, you knew there was something holding Damian back but besides exactly what it was he was honest with her and she with him. The secondary characters were great and loved the dogs! This was a great love story!

The Omen and Firestarter! I was just meant to love this book and I did. Damien was an overall great guy. Sexy and honest, for the most part anyway. Chelsey was such a sweet girl. I didn't find either one of them annoying, which is always refreshing. The drama and angst was keep to a minimal, but the beat and chemistry was ever present. I adored their friendship, easy banter and love. Beautiful and fun book.

Chelsea is still having a hard time adjusting to being alone after her boyfriend had broken up with her. Her sister Jade suggest she hook up with her sexy neighbor. She believes her neighbor and his two dogs are a pain in the butt. She does eventually form a friendship with Damien and the dogs, unfortunately she develops strong feelings for him. Damien doesn't want any type of relationship at all. Grab this book and see where this journey takes them.

As always Penelope has written another five star read.

These two were so good for each other. Penelope has a way of writing serious issues but gives us a few much needed laughs along the emotional journey. I'm going to give a warning: ONCE YOU START, YOU WONT WANT TO STOP. Highly recommended to any romance lover.

This was a really good story. Damien's secret was slightly predictable, but didn't take anything away from the story. I was a little conflicted reading how Elec's choices affected Chelsea. I really liked him in Stepbrother Dearest. My heart broke for Chelsea in this book. I really hope we get a Tyler or Jade book so we know what went on or is going on with them. I love Dewey and Drewfus!!

I had to read this book again after reading Jaded and Tyed and I'm so glad I did. There is something even more heart warming about already knowing the storyline that makes me focus more on the main characters. Penelope Ward does a brilliant job and is so good at her craft that she never disappoints (as far as I'm concerned). You will definitely want to read this book more than once!

I went through a lot emotions reading this book. It is amazing what life can throw at you but I do believe in soul mates. The way two people come together and how they end up together is amazing. I loved how it was funny and I love the double D's a lot. But now there are four lol. Thank you for writng such amazing books that makes people feel. I definitely recommend this book to all adults.

I completely loved this book! So much that I read it in less than one day. I love Damien so so much. I haven't read Stepbrother Dearest but that's now on my list too. Penelope Ward definitely knows how to write a book that draws you in and keeps your entertained and engaged right until the end.

I absolutely loved this book. I usually like my characters to get together sooner rather than later, but the story was so strong I had no trouble waiting for the H/h to figure things out. What a beautiful love story this turned out to be. Damien......swoon!!!! Chelsea was a strong female character and I'm so glad with the way this book ended! Great job Penelope Ward!

There are few authors that have me hanging on their every word, and fewer authors that touch my soul. There aren't enough words to articulate how this book has touched me. I felt the emotions. The dialogue was spot on. When these two characters come together there is an undeniable connection, a fire and I am right there with them fanning the flames. WOW just WOW!

Starts off slow and drags a little but once Damien and Chelesa get together the book picks up. Interesting storyline. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but it hit rather close to home for me. I thank you so much for the HEA as my experience that did not happen that way. Really great book once it gets going, so hang in there, highly recommend you read it!

Penelope Ward did such an amazing job with this book!!! I had my first ugly cry about one third of the way into this book. Then again at about half way. There were butterflies wreaking havoc on my tummy the whole time. I laughed a lot, and cried a lot. Damien and Chelsea absolutely ruined me! I'll have a hangover for a really long time after this one!!

She never disappoints!! Story was everything I needed to read it had a little bit of everything. I love when it's not easy for the couple because that's realistic. She gives you the right amount of angst, sexiness, drama, and humor and the last line of the book made me actually laugh out loud. Great work I will always one click her books because she is awesome!!

I loved Stepbrother Dearest. I really liked the character of Chelsea, but totally wanted Elec with Greta. So, it was great to read what happened with Chelsea. I loved Damien. He was intriguing and easy to love. I couldn't put the book down.

I am never disappointed by Ms Ward. From start to end, it was perfect. Nothing was rushed nor was it drawn out unnecessarily and every word was filled with emotion. Things were always done/said with purpose...even when you begin to question 'why is he doing this'. It was not some far fetched love story. Loved the Triple D's?

I love this author to begin with. There's always humor and a hot man in her stories and she didn't disappoint in this one. I loved their chemistry and the way she wrote them up until the point where there was something to think about.
No spoilers here.
This was a very touching, funny and hot story about two people scared to jump in.

Neighbor Dearest was a great follow up to Step brother Dearest, which I loved.
I'm so happy Chelsea got her own book and with such a sweet love story.
Damien was absolutely perfect for her. Their story was laugh out loud funny but it was a bit of a tear jerker.

Fingers crossed Jade & Ty get their own book.

Holy cow! Fabulous book! Loved the story line. Love, love, loved the characters! I wasn't expecting so many turns in this story. I thought Chelsea was a bid dumb and desperate for a but to keep chasing after Damien but..... it was worth it. Such a heartfelt book. I love a good love story and this defiantly was one.

My all time favorite book is Stepbrother Dearest and this just tied for my top spot. I love everything about Chelsea and Damien. Their chemistry is off the charts and the humor they have is just heartwarming. So glad they each got their unicorn! Can't wait for more from the amazingly talented Penelope Ward!

A great story of mending broken hearts figuratively and real. Damien born with a broken heart and Chelsea given a broken heart from someone she thought was her forever. A great story how your story can start out one way but sometimes giving into changes can turn into a HEA!

What a truly beautiful story. Neighbor Dearest has everything. Heartbreak, sweetness, love, hot sex, sadness, humor and lastly inspiration. As the wife of a younger man with heart problems this touched me in so many ways. Phenomenal story. Hoping to see Jade and Tyler in a new book. Please please say yes.

Having had read 'StepBrother Dearest' and other books by this author I felt like this book was dragging. Not that the story wasn't good... it just dragged for me. I believe that it picked up towards the middle of it and it ended very well.
