This book kept my toddler attention. He is able to follow the repetition of the sentences and the sequence of the animals. It is very interactive and he can push the buttons to show the animal sounds that comes next. Very good for preschoolers to develop literacy skills and love for reading later on.

My daughter received this book when she was 12 months old. She loved it then, she loves it now. It arrived in perfect packaging, the battery was protected to avoid any drainage and the quality of the board book is excellent.

We turn to this book often.

My kiddo LOVES this book. She really enjoys the other Eric Carlisle books so she pretty much lost her mind when this one made noises at her. She wants to read this one an obnoxious amount of times per day and never gets tired of it.

My daughter has loved, loved, loved this book. Even as a barely one year old, she was able to identify all the animals and their sounds, and eventually say their names because she read this book so much.

Love this book with the sounds. Found it ironic, that my 5 yr old was reading it and said "wish there was a polar bear on here" I read reviews on this book and that was what everyone else said as well. We personally like the zookeeper though:) Nice book!

Got my grandson this book (great sound effects) and the little Bear(adorable) to go with it. Perfect gifts! We love Eric Carle beautiful pics/painting and catching rhythm( read them to my kids when they were young). And he loved both of them.

We had the regular book, without sound, which is a great book! However I saw that my son was playing with this one at school (with sounds) and really loved it. It's a nice addition to the other book, I'll be honest - I'm not great at making the elephant sound all on my own...

Cute book, pictures, idea... BUT the animal sounds are pretty crazy. Only a couple actual sound like the animal. My daughter was not terribly interested, more weirded out. Still a fun book but with odd sounds.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my granddaughters (ages 3 and 1) and they are enjoying it. The 3-year-old is reading it to little sister and the little one is pressing the buttons to elicit the sounds. Great combination!

This probably seems silly, but it bugs me that there's no polar bear noise. Sure, no one hears the polar bear at the beginning, but at the end the zoo keeper hears the polar bear and it feels awkward to not have a sound to play. Otherwise my daughter loves the sounds, especially the zebra. The illustrations are a little odd...

We gave this book to our grandson for Christmas. He was six months old and he loves the book with all the sounds and beautiful illustrations. In fact, his older brother, age 6, can read it aloud to him and they both can enjoy it and have a special time together. Surprisingly, he is entertained by it and listens to the entire story.
