Becoming Myself: Embracing God's Dream of You

I like Stasi Eldredge's thought provoking books. I read this book at a very opportune time. The weekly sections are encouraging and thought provoking. I learned a lot about myself and how I relate to God and others. The book confirmed how much God loves me as myself and He created me.

A wonderful book restoring/reminding us of our true identity in Christ!!! A must read for every woman who struggles with anything...insecurities, doubt in who she is or who she is meant to be...Stasi is refreshing, honest, and the love of Christ pours forth in her words. Read it.

Staid Eldredge writes with a clear and honest voice. Her examples from her own life paralleled with scripture help the reader put the focus right back to God
This is a perfect book for a women's small group or as an individual resource during one's devotional time.

I love how honest the author is about her struggles with self-esteem and learning to love herself and see herself the way God sees her. I would recommend this book for anyone who is seeking growth and healing. Are there things you are struggling with in life that it feels like you will never overcome? This book walks us through how Jesus can heal and transform those areas that we can't fix on our own.

I loved this book! After reading literally hundreds of self-help books over more years than I can count, I have found the message I most needed to hear.

I loved this book! Stasi is a wonderful writer. She is sharing her life story and also trying to help other women learn how to become closer to God. It is emotion packed. It brought me to tears. I got so much out of it for my own life. Through childhood, teen years, early adulthood and on and on. It made me feel good about myself and others in my life. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Incredible, deep, and soothing at once. I took 6 months to finish it because I didn’t want to rush the words and needed encouragement. This beautiful book was a healing salve to my wounded heart. The words about women’s friendships could not have been read at a better time. Thank you for writing such a wonderful book and bless the God who inspires it.

Stasi wrote a very candid and personal book telling her story of becoming. I was so excited to read forward to the next chapter and the reminders of the person I really am, created by the God of the Universe to live in community with Him and others. I highly recommend this book to all women and especially those who struggle with self image and self forgiveness.

I loved the honest way that Stasi presented her journey and revelation. I can relate on so many levels and found it refreshing that she presents such truth, but it comes from a heart that has thoroughly lived and breathed it.
