I loved this series. I had so many different emotions reading this book... fear, tense, anger, love.. and then followed by more fear, followed by even more intense love and connection between two people that is absolutely indescribable... really indescribable!! Really worth a read. You won't be able to put this one down when you start reading.

She gets me every time! Absolutely fantastic series. You go through all of the emotions. It's twisted and erotic and so devastatingly sad at some points. In love with Pepper, she is an absolute wordsmith and brilliant story teller!

Wonderfully written. Very long but never boring and extremely insightful. A mad adventure through the human psyche with love and loss, tragedy and victory. The depravity of humanity is exceeded only by its potential strength and resilience. I love the characters and was engrossed by their continual development. Well done madam.

I really liked this story. It was dark yet intriguing to me. You could feel how the characters fed off each other in a twisted yet needed way. A good read for anyone wanting to take a break from the BDSM happy go lucky FSOG type reads.

This book stole my heart and way of thinking!!! It totAlly enthralled me,and I cried a lot!!! No one ever tells the stories of Women captured, tortured and enslaved....Wow!!! I love happily ever after, but...hot damn....This took me way beyond! I am still shaking my head in awe!!!

A dark series NOT to be missed! Pepper Winters brings to life each character as if you're right there in the story. It's full of life's greatest fears and tragedy but gives you hope that love & human kindness still exist.

This book is written with so much passion. I fell in love with the characters..PEPPER WHITE has a way of writing that includes her readers into the stories. Sometimes I was so absorbed in the emotions that I could feel the depth of their love. Will definitely read this over and over .

Wow!! An amazing book written beautifully. This is the first time I have read books by Pepper Winters and I enjoyed every second of reading. I just couldn't put the book down! The characters are so real and their emotions and struggles are portrayed wonderfully. This series is worth more than 5 stars and worth every dollar! If you like dark erotic books the book is a MUST READ!!!

I cannot begin to explain how ingenious Pepper Winters is. I wanted to jump inside Tess and Q's world when reading this trilogy. They seem like real people...Pepper is a master at painting pictures in readers' minds and the ideas and "symbolisms" she created with her own mind and uses in her book are amazing, such as...I don't want to spoil anything so I'll leave it at that. In her own way, she has shed light on a terrible truth that exists in this world that we only seem to acknowledge on a "surface" level, avoiding thinking deeply about the atrocities. Thank you for making me appreciate all the good in my life and for grieving for those who have been stolen and forced into that hell. I am blown away by Pepper Winters.

This series of books could have been written in two books. There was way too much repetition. The love between these too very sick people was complete overkill. It took me several weeks to finish the 3 book series. I was completely discussed with all the killing and overkilling in this book. When you put a sadistic and a masochist together it is a very bad scene. I thought the wedding would be good, but that turned out to be horrible as well. Not a well written book in my estimation. I will not read anymore books by this author. Too gross.

Interesting to say it mildly. What a man or woman would do or not doe for true love. To forgive and to fight for......pure acceptance is the ultimate gift of love. This book is not for everyone but I would recommend it those you believe that good can come out of evil.
