I've enjoyed reading an informative account of crooked politicos dating back to the very early years of our republic. It is amazing to me that we've survived this long and motivates me to be a more vigilant voter. I haven't finish it yet so I don't know how he proposes President Trump to clear the present swamp.

Although it presents some interesting facts, it seems more like a loose collection of examples of corruption. I was hoping for an answer to the question: "Where did today's swamp come from, who/what is the cause, and what can WE do?" Instead, I got some very specific examples of scattered scandals from the 19th century, with seemingly little connection. Please spare me the sordid past, tell me how it's relevant to today, and more importantly the steps that Trump can take to stop it and what we can do to help him. In short, the subtitle "How Trump Can Stop It" seems misleading.
