This an incredible post-apocalyptic series by one of the best authors in the genre. The first book in the WTF series by W.j. Lundy will grab you and hold on until you read them all. This is thrilling from start to finish.

W. J. Lundy has proven to be an accomplished author, both in developing a really good story and in character development.
He is an excellent author and I thoroughly enjoyed this book (Kindle). Therefore, I highly recommend this author and this is a great read. Look for his other works and you won't be disappointed.

Interesting enough that I am now on book three in this series.

I don't do SPOILERS!

Nice, entertaining reading. Got the first book free, and have bought the others to read. So I voted with my pocket.

Story grabbed me from the beginning and I could not put it down! Great characters and situations. I am hooked, but disappointed in the length of the book. Hoping the next one will be of at least the same quality only longer.

Fast read! While I very much enjoyed the story, I felt there could be more details and expansions in a number of areas. I've heard that this series gets better and I look forward to the next chapter in this adventure! The story seems like something that could actually happen and I enjoy that element a lot! Thank you!

Thank you for a good tale, Your Military descriptions are very clear and believable even tho things have changed a lot in the last 25 years since i was in. I love to read a good story and you have done a fine job, plus I found you also have another just waiting for me to read so I am on to that now, Thanks, an i hope there will be many more in your series.

Technically, very well written. Interesting story. I am hoping, since this is the first in the series, the following volumes delve in to the personalities of the characters. It was a good read, but ultimately I found the characters flat . With some character development this would be a fantastic series.

Just started Book 3 in the series. Thought I owed it to the author to review the books so far. Great story with interesting characters and a different locale, Afganistan. The stories are fresh and entertaining. I highly recommend the series. Time well spent...

Well told stories like this make me think. I can't imagine having to live through this, but I'm not a trained combat soldier and I enjoy learning about their techniques and mental attitude. The book ties up loose ends while at the same time adding new plot lines and twists.

As a veteran Master Sgt USMC, this book gives excellent details on the day to day lives our troops face in country and relationship we develop with it local population. The story is not real but what if! Enjoyed it. Looking forward to the other books. Deeman

I enjoyed the book even though I didn't understand some of the military lingo. It could have been a little more detailed as far as the location since most of us don't know know the area without a map.

I found Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Volume 1, to be an interesting twist to the living dead genre. Also, the story provides a fascinating tale on how the infectious microorganism was created as an bio-weapon and its affect on an infected individual. Lastly, it was a fast-paced and fun read, a good escapist novel. I can't wait to read Volume 2 to learn the fate of Brad Thompson and the Seals.

Overall, it's another zombie book. What made it stand out was it's location, and the cast of characters. I'm not buying the next book immediately, but I'll probably come back at some point in the near future.

Very enjoyable book. I hope there is a little more character development in the future books. I would also have preferred it to be a little longer too. Otherwise good stuff and I very much look forward to the rest of the series.

Great character development, did not want this book to end, suspense and humor rolled into one zombie book. I have read quite a few zombie books and this is one of the best. I like the fact it is relevant to our current times.

Vivid writing and fast moving story. A little cliches sometimes, but how can you go wrong with soldiers and zombies? The soldiers act and sound very real. Excellent knowledge of weapons and vehicles. Good summer read.

The story is good and characters are likeable/believable. Writing is a bit "young" in areas, but enjoyable. I've purchased the next in the series and will see how his style develops with the story. Overall for a new writer pretty good effort.

Tight story.
Gear, tactics, transportation, and military portrayed better than most of the stories out there. Author obviously has some first hand knowledge.

I am looking forward to more zombie stories from Mr. Lundy.
