Blood Knot (Blood Stone Book 1)

Very well written. The sex scenes were hot and there was a plot to back them up. I loved how well-thought-out the action scenes were and the emotions felt real. I will definitely be reading this author again.

This was a great read, the characters were sharp and emotional and fit together like well worn leather and silk. Winter's unique talent and the intelligent wit of the two vampires, and Winter herself, made it a great ride. The sex was erotic and involved and left me wanting. The story, the evolving genesis of the vampire race coming out to the world rocked as a baseline for the plot.
Easily as good as Laural K Hamilton.

This story was beyond great. The story line fascinating, wonderful erotic passages. Not crude just super hot. It is one of the best I have read in a longggg time. I would and will read anything of this writer's again.

The book is very well written and will certainly appeal to many contemporary and not-so-contemporary readers.
The author has done a great job illustrating her world and getting into the identities of her characters.
I think she has successfully put a different spin on the "vampire" motif and brings something new to the table that will intrigue the reader. I look forward to more books in the series.

I agree with another reviewer, I would love to see a book written about Nial and Sebastian's history together! I liked Winter's "ability" and thought it was an interesting twist that she can alter a vampire's biology into a human again.

Need a little spice in your life without having to think too much? If the answer is "yes" then this book is for you. This isn't a literary work of art by any stretch. However, the plot is fun and the characters engage in all types of naughty debauchery, some of which will leave you asking, "is that even possible?" This book is the first in a series. I haven't purchased or read the others yet and not sure if I will.

This book was totally hot! The characters were well developed. Although there wasn't much of a plot (I wasn't exactly expecting an involved one), I enjoyed the story all the same. And the erotic scenes between the characters were well worth the practically non-existent plot. I'm sure the author's other novels are just as good.
