Liz has written another well written clean christian western romance. It was hard to put down and it had me laughing and crying. Parts of the story line was a little rushed, but it is great for a quick read book. I would definitely recommend it. Their was a few errors but it didn't hurt the story any.

A Wedding for the Widower is a touching romance that shows the “in sickness and in health” part of the wedding vows are worth living up to. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.

Wedding for the Widower is a heart warming story about learning to take a chance on life after experiencing hurtful losses in the past. I enjoyed being a part of Tess and Walker's process from friendship to courtship. I would recommend this novella and look forward to this new Brush Creek Bride series.

Walker and Tess have both lost spouses and are afraid to risk falling in love again. But Tess really wrenched my heart because in addition to raising a son alone she is dealing with breast cancer. Walker is my favorite Liz hero for making her feel beautiful and loved despite her scars and hair loss.

When Graham is ready to start dating again, he looks to Tess. But when she confesses that her breast cancer has returned, he has second thoughts. How can he go through the pain of losing a loved one again? Can love override his fear? A great story that will keep you captivated.

This was an interesting book - a lovely read but I felt it didn't quite deliver a depth of story. Strong issues were key to the story but just didn't quite get there. Overall I enjoyed the read but it's not one of the best by this author. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy

Walker and Tess have been friends for years but something changes. One date leads to another but can they let health scares and fears of loss stop their friendship turn into love?
A well written book, I look forward to reading the rest of the series!

Tess and Walker have both been happily married and widowed. Each has a little boy. They have been friends for a long time when they start dating. Tess is a cancer survivor and even though Walker loves her he is afraid. A beautiful love story.

This was a Christian romance that was pleasant to read. It was about second chance at love for two widowers. Both Walker and Tess lost their first love to death. Years after a friendship turned to love. This was a fast read and loved reading it

As always, loved the book! Both the hero and the heroin have some problems to overcome before realizing that they love each other, but as always in a good book there is a happily ever after! Would recommend this book to anyone!

Being a breast cancer survivor myself Tess's situation really spoke to me. The author showed a good understanding of the emotional impact of surviving cancer and living with the chance of reoccurrence every day. Very heart warming story with the ending we would all like ! And I loved the song lyrics at the beginning of the book. ?

Health challenges, fear of being hurt again, fear of a recurrence and friendship developing into love. Where love takes us, how we deal with it when it takes us somewhere and we are afraid. Really potential loves lost and new love being impacted by our personal history. Great read.

The subject matter is true to life. The fears and reality of facing the unknown, yet with a happy conclusion remind us to not borrow trouble from tomorrow but to live in the moment and trust God to know what’s best for us. Loved it!

A Wedding for the Widower is a short and sweet faith-filled romance with a few editing errors (spelling mistakes etc.). Unlike most other contemporary Christian romance novels, their relationship didn't feel too rushed and unrealistic, though I would have loved if there were more scenes of the two communicating with their children. Was a lovely read overall.

Absolutely beautiful love story. Two people, each a single parent of a little boy, had lost their spouse through tragic accidents, Survived to move on with someone else to love. She was living with breast cancer. They each had new fears to cope with before they could have a future together. Would they have enough faith to carry them through to a HEA? I do love Liz Isaacson's books. Hope you choose one and read it.

This book is written with such heart and tenderness that you best break out the Kleenex. There is absolutely nothing but the faith in God that can bring peace to your inner conflicts when the health, welfare and well-being of those you love are at stake. This storyline is proof that starting over when life has handed you lemons, can be done. Add in a couple little boys with two dogs out in the beautiful countryside of Utah and it is the best answer to the equation of life. Of course, it helps when a man can produce music for the soul. Thanks for an absolutely great story!

A Wedding for the Widower was a pleasant surprise to read. I wasn't sure what to expect. I don't seem to resonate with books where the main couple have been married before. However, that being said, I found myself really intrigued by Tess and Walker's friendship. Cancer being thrown in there startled me into really caring for the outcome of this story and I found myself once again thoroughly invested in a great book by this author. Always clean, always uplifting, always finishing a book with more than I started. Looking forward to more from this series.

This is a sweet and moving romance between Walker the widowed foreman of a horse ranch with a 10 year old son and Tess a widow with a 7 year old son. They've been friends for 4 years and finally they both decide dating would be a good thing. She's a bit giddy and he's a bit cautious. They have of course some problems to overcome. Their past, present and future make a wonderfully moving romance.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is a touching story about finding love again, after a terrible loss. Walker & Tess, have been friends for a
long time. There are feelings there, when they see each other. Maybe it's time for Walker
& Tess, to open their hearts, & let love in.
A MUST READ!!

This was a wonderful story of two people who were fearful to open up their hearts again to love after death of a spouse. As the story unfolds, Walker and Tess learn to trust their hearts and allow love to come again. Even Walker's worst fear, cancer in Tess, ultimately didn't keep them apart. It's a great reminder of God's love and care for each of us. He brings others into our lives for a reason; whether that's to learn to trust Him again or allow others to fill a void in our lives. Thank you, Liz, for another wonderful story!
