I really enjoyed these two books. They were great books. Tho I almost didn't read them. The cheesy covers initially made me think the stories would be cheesy, too. So, my suggestion is to ignore the cheesy covers and read the books. The stories are great!

I bought this book because a reviewer suggested that it is as good as Suzanne Brockmann's books. It is not. The characters are unoriginal, the plot limps along much more slowly than a Brockmann novel. Readers looking for some of Brockmann's humor will be disappointed. This book takes itself much too seriously.

What a phenomenal book!!! I've read Mrs. Reasor's historical novels and loved them, so I knew I would love this one too. I wasn't disappointed.
I've never read a book that delved so in depth to Navy SEAL life. It was obvious that the author did her research and enjoyed the subject.
There are several characters to follow and I really hope every one of the men gets his own story. They were all personable, and 'real'. The suspense kept you guessing to the very end of the book.
I can't say enough good things about this book. Just check it out.
Patriotic Duty (Duty & Desire, Book 1) :: Edge of Control (Edge Security Series Book 1) :: The Edge of Courage (A Red Team Novel Book 1) :: second-chance military romance. - One to Hold (Derek & Melissa) :: Unlocking Your Athletic Potential for Health - and Injury Prevention

OMG, LOVED THIS BOOK!! Teresa Reasor - new author for me and now a favorite. WOW - can't wait for book 2. This is right up there with Cindy Gerard and her Black Ops boys and Pamela Clare and her I-Team guys.

Decided to read this book after seeing if featured on the the store site. Once I started reading, I couldn't put this book down. Excellent character development, outstanding plot, fast-paced story. Coming from a military family, I could truly relate to Hawk and the rest of his team. Well written and a great book. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

I bought this book on the recommendation of another author and I am so glad I did!! Hawk and Zoe will grab you into their building romance that you almost forget the mystery, but as amazing authors do, you are drawn right back into the intrigue!

This book keeps you guessing with a SEALS mystery until the very end! I've already started the next in the series!!

Military intrigue... suspense... romance... "Breaking Free" by Teresa J. Reasor has it all!

Nothing like a group of Navy SEALS to give you your Alpha-Male-fix, and Adam "Hawk" Yazzie certainly doesn't disappoint. He's a tough-as-nails SEAL with a heart of gold, a combination sure to make any romance fan swoon. Zoe Weaver has the kind of determination and quiet strength that any woman an identify with, and when she follows her heart into love with Hawk, the result is the kind of realistic and poignant romance that keeps readers turning pages.

The suspense doesn't disappoint. Reasor keeps you on your toes, constantly guessing, until a climactic breaking point when Zoe's life is at risk and Hawk must use all his skills as a SEAL to keep her alive.

I highly recommend this book! If you love military romance -or even if you just "think" you might like it - take a look at "Breaking Free". With characters you'll fall in love with, suspense that keeps you engaged, and romance that will sweep you away, Teresa Reasor has created something spectacular! Read this book!

TEAM Heartbreakers) (Kindle Edition)

The book seems well written and fast paced, but I didn't get past the first few pages because of all the language. Why is the prolific use of offending and crude words necessary? A few choice words I can handle, but this was in overdrive.

Breaking Free tells of how the emotional pressure that is placed on Navy SEALs and their family and girlfriends. Lieutenant Adam “Hawk” Yazzie rescues Ensign Brett “Cutter” Weaver in a mission when one of the other teammates knocked him unconscious and left Cutter for dead.

Back stateside Cutter is in a coma, Hawk is hurt and recovering when Cutter's mother and sisters come to visit. Zoe Weaver stays with her brother and visits everyday working with her physical therapy skills to keep her brother in the best shape that she can.

It becomes Hawk's duty to figure out what happened to Cutter; help keep Zoe and her mother comfortable and investigate his own men on his Team.

Breaking Free applies to both Zoe and Hawk as they both have to let go of past hurts to move into a new relationship together.

The mystery is good, the romance is sweet and hot too and the story is realistic with emotions revealed as to how difficult life in the military can be for both the men and women serving and their families. Great Story ~ Hoorah!

Breaking Free was part of an anthology that I purchased.

This is probably the best researched and most realistic thriller involving Special Forces personnel that I have read. The characters, their relationship's and the situations they find themselves in are all too real. As well as great suspense and a plot that keeps you interested, the main focus is on the bitter-sweet romance between Zoe and Adam that again manages to retain realism. The suspense is built up slowly to a great climax and I couldn't put this down. Definitely one I would recommend and I think that there is just about enough action and appeal in `Hawk's' character to keep the male contingent happy.

Breaking Free is one of the best military romance books i have read in a long time.. As a military wife myself its showes all the things that cross your mind when your loved ones go out for deployment. Zoe pretty much leaves her life to come and take care of her brother Brett how has just come home from a mission that went wrong. He is in a coma from the accident. She never loses her faith that he is going to wake up and regain his life. Hawk is his CO, and has promised to watch out for Zoe and her mom. Hawk is very aware of Zoe and really struggles with letting someone into his life. he is a SEAL and career military man. Does he want to let someone in his life? does he want to wonder if he is letting that person down, missing them when they are hurt, sad, lonely... Zoe may just be the one that he needs for the rest of his life.

you won't regret getting this book!

This book is one of those in a collection entitled "Malice, Mischief and Men" purchased on the store.com. A seal team comes home, one of the men in a coma, with suspicions surrounding his injury. This band of brothers that held each other's lives so close , how could any of them harm one of their own? The book delves into the at home lives of these men, and does not sugar coat. It is is almost sad, their loyalty towards each other blinds them to serious anger and stress issues within the team. Issues they were ill equipped to assuage and outside intervention might have saved careers and much pain.
