Reading Comprehension - Word Problems

We use Second Grade Big Workbook as a supplement to our homeschooling. We like the bright colors and how it covers so many subjects. The easy reading makes it more fun for our son who is able to work at his own pace. He has thrived in his reading and math skills using "SGBW". We love it!

Bought this for my 2nd grader as reinforcement studies. Nothing wrong with constantly learning and reviewing. We both love it. It doesn't feel like home work. We do a few pages (front and back) on Friday Saturday and Sunday.

This colorful workbook kept my son interested and engaged all summer. It covered all the basics to avoid the learning loss that could occur over the summer without continual reinforcement. He worked on just 5-6 page per day, less than half an hour's worth, and it definitely made all the difference in keeping his skills sharp.

This book is good for extra homework, summer or weekend work. I would not recommend this to homeschooling mothers looking for filling. We used this book very seldom (sick days or car rides while on vacation.) It is worth the price but don't expect more.

My daughter is going into the third grade this school year. I ordered this workbook to help review over the summer the things she has learned in second grade. This is a great workbook with lots of pages to have fun while learning.
