Little Blue Truck's Christmas

Disappointed in the story and function. We love Little Blue Truck and hoped this Christmas story would be another household favorite. The story line is much simpler than the original book (not attention keeping) focuses on counting (which I was looking forward to) and the twinkle lights only worked the first 3 times we read the book. Haven't gotten them to turn on again since. Me and my 2 year old are unimpressed.

Good book but Wiring problem. I ordered this book early for Christmas. When wrapping for Christmas, I pulled the tab out so the lights would work. Christmas day the lights don’t work, nor do they work now with new batteries! Can I exchange this?

My son LOVES Little Blue Truck so naturally I had to get this book. However, the lights on the tree on the last page are wonky and tend to be hard to get to light up. It's hard for me to figure out how to get them to light up, much less my two year old.

Many reviews mentioned a drop in the quality, I think the biggest difference is this is not a board book, which does not matter for us at all. My kids are 3 and 4, and do not tear books that easily anymore, and if they do, it does not matter what the book is made of anyway. The story was cute, rhymes felt more natural than some in the previous books. If you have a LBT lover, she/he will love the 3rd part, too.

Love the Little Blue Truck series! On the last page, the Christmas tree has twinkly lights. Be sure to pull the tab out on the back cover or the lights will not work. The pages are more of a flimsy cardboard and not necessarily a “board book”.

My kids already had another Little Blue Truck book. It's easy for them to read and understand (My oldest is 6), and they repeatedly ask for us to read it to them before bed. You can't argue with Prime shipping (if you're a Prime member, which you should be). It's good wholesome stories like this that let me know our entire world isn't gone down the drain.

Our three year old loves this book! The lights at the end were a nice surprise for our little boy, and mama too! They are very bright. We love talking about the different size trees that Little Blue Truck delivers to his friends, and the one he has for himself. Cute story, and even though its a Christmas book, we'll keep it out year round. We have the original book too, and find this one to be just as charming.

Love the pictures, the story and the surprise lights at the end. The only downside is that the pages are really flimsy. It is somewhere between a board book and a regular book. Overall, it is great and a fun addition to the Little Blue Truck set.

My son loves the other Little Blue Truck book. The illustrations are so nice. And the very last page is a light-up Xmas tree which he gets a kick out of. This is not a board book but the pages are still pretty thick. Would buy again.

The Little Blue Truck series has great drawings, life lessons, and a great rhyming scheme.

NOTE: I did make a return on this item when I thought the lights in the back weren't working. It turns out that the lights only work when there's enough light nearby (as it were solar-powered, but it's not). This will not work in complete darkness. This is a strange little quark, but it shouldn't keep you from purchasing.

We love the Little Blue Truck books, and this one was perfect for Christmas. I will say that the original book was a bigger hit with my son. I think the story in the original flowed just a little bit better. But, this book was still a good one.

Nothing compares to the first Little Blue Truck book for us, but our sons (4 yr and 1 yr) love this series and were excited to receive this book last year. I fully intend on bringing it back out as we prepare for this Christmas!

My three year old loves the Little Blue Truck books and this is his third one. We bought one for him for Christmas and one as a gift for our niece. They both enjoy the surprise at the end but I personally wish there was more in terms of content and rhyming. I found myself wanting more from it every time I read it. I hope their Halloween book next year lives up to the expectation.

My kids love the Little Blue Truck books and this one was no different. It also has a Christmas tree that lights up on the last page, the kids love it and make us read it almost every night, sometimes twice.

First of all, thank goodness for another Little Blue Truck book! I read them nearly every day so I was happy to have this one during the Christmas season. Yes, a little pricey because of the lights but SO SO worth it! My 14 month old son loves it! Only problem is he wants to skip to the end to see the lights. I highly recommend this holiday book!
