As per usual, this book is awesome. It draws you in and you don't want to put it down. Bri, Braden, Luke, Emerson and even Elijah are very likeable characters. I cannot wait for Elijah's book! Great stuff!

First off, let me start by saying I absolutely love Tijans writing. Amazingggg writer!
This book was another wonderful creation by her. I love how it ties in with Jesse and Alex's story. My only wish is, it would've been great if it was longer. Finished it in about 6 hours flat.

I've been anticipating this release and Tijan did not disappoint. Bri and Luke have amazing chemistry. The rest of the characters were great too. Maybe will get a sequel out of Sustain, one can hope:)

The story was great and the characters had grit, but the ending seemed really poorly written. The edgy hardened characters got very lovey dovey and it didn't jive with the mood of the rest of the book.

Wow this was another amazing book by Tijan, what else is there to say.
I loved it, and the only thing is that I really hope we get more of Luke and Bri.
As usual with Tijan's books the storyline is amazing and you can't help but love all of her characters. I always love the bonds and loyalty that her characters always bring to her stories.

Thank you for another spectacular book that I will be able to read multiply times like your other books.

Different from all the other series by Tijan but I still liked it nonetheless. The characters were as complex as ever and the overall environment pretty dark, very Tijan! I've read all of her books and will certainly continue to do so...

I love that this goes into Broken & Screwed and it fills in some holes that left me wondering. Tijan is awesome and I have yet to buy her books (have all) and be disappointed. Can't wait for the next one no matter which series it is.

Holy moly was this book good. A spinoff from broken and screwed. Sustain was awesome I don't even know what to say or where to begin. Brielle is really something and Luke is hello gorgeous. I love the history between everyone and the story between them all. Every character was just right. There was Braden, Brielle's twin and brother, Emerson, Brielle and Braden's cousin, Luke Brielle's best friend/love and Elijah Brielle's ex and Emerson's best friend. Of course they didn't always get along, mainly Brielle and Emerson, and there is the forever tension between Luke and Brielle, but no matter what their always right there for each other even through the worst situations. And boy let me tell you they had many of them with, Emerson. They were always having to go save him from trouble and at times very bad situations. Anyways through it all the one thing they were the best at was playing together in a band. And let me tell you, have you ever heard of a bad ass drummer and not just any drummer but a girl that rocked it out on the drums? Well that's Brielle, a bad as drummer while Luke is the hot lead singer with Braden as a drum and guitar player along with Emerson on guitar. Their story is really something pulling you in from the very beginning and not letting you go till the end. It's almost like a rollercoaster that you enjoy and don't want to get off. This book was definitely worth the read and of course a five star book to me.

Another great read from Tijan. All the characters were loveable even the "Idiot cousin".
Loved the connection with Luke and Bri!
Luke is hot and not the typical lead singer in a band manwhore, Bri is badass they have great chemistry. Bad boy Elijah, oh my can't wait to his book. I hope Braden gets his own book too.

This book was good, but I liked the earlier version she scrapped a hechkkava lot more. In this book, Luke and Bri were boring. She was supposed to be this badass, but she just came off as a coward to me. I would not have been as forgiving as Luke. Plus, I felt this book glossed over so many things and was more like a novella: lthe moms miscarriage, Sustain making it big, who Gunn's gf was (Kelly? because she disappeared by the end of the book).

Now Elijah wasn't boring. He stood out to me and made the book. I can't wait for his story. I hope it's a lot more fleshed out.

>Book Review – Sustain –

>I am an independent reviewer. This is a standalone novel and ends in an HEA.

>This story is a dark and gritty read. Brielle, her twin Brayden and neighbor Luke grew up together. They shared poverty and abusive fathers. Bri and Luke always loved each other, but something happened to keep them apart. There is a mystery as to why Bri left Luke for Elijah. In between flash backs, Bri and Brayden's jerky cousin, Emerson is constantly doing drugs and needing to be saved. The band the four originally started gets famous without Bri. Her drug dealing ex keeps showing up. The story seems to spin out of control until Luke and Bri finally admit to loving each other, then the story is anchored.

>Once again, Tijan has a story that is hard to put down and introducing characters that stick with you. This book is more a mystery, but the romance is still there. Another winner.

>This book is appropriate for an adult audience.

I really liked the characters and their dynamics with each other. However the constant back and forth between Bri and Luke was over the top. I would have liked a little more substance with their relationship. Overall though it was a good read.

Sustain may have supported, strengthened Luke & new configuration of band members but it obliterated Brielle after enduring three years of mere existence. Yet like a Phoenix she raises from the ashes for family.

I enjoyed the imagery of a band pulsating in accordance drawn by the rhythm while life outside the music total chaos. Very raw depiction of the harshness of drug culture violence skirting sensuous band culture women, booze & music. Shows me a dangerous world I'd never dare to venture.

My pet peeve - drug dealer tolerated, drug addict continually forgiven even extracted & protected. However, abused unprotected girl fearful follows abusers orders disdainfully discarded.
