I loved this book. Sheldon,Bryce, and Corrigan have such an amazing bond together. Though one thing I truly love when reading a book like this is the quiet hot guy that rarely shows emotion until the right girl comes along. Bryce has always been there for Sheldon. Just a little rant about why I love this book...the list is endless!!(: Can't wait to read the next one!!!

Forgive my grammar and punctuation errors in writing this review, my thoughts are coming too fast and I'm so annoyed I'm sure there will be mistakes.
I am astounded at the review this book is getting. "Loved the characters".....seriously? Civility is forever fading if this is a true depiction of a good story with likable characters. I have never read a book in which the main characters who are shallow, cold, vain, unaccomplished and apathetic, but all of which are liked, envied and sought out by their peers and even respected. I'm so disappointed with the messages this story sends to our younger generation. There is not one thing positive or redeeming about this story. But somehow the author has accomplished a great thing here by making the characters in this book likable, envied, admired. I can hardly believe it. The praise and positive reviews from the readers toward this story and these characters is sickening. I can't begin to understand where the author was going with this story-- I can only guess that she wants us to overlook their immorality, dishonesty, and lack of civility toward others because they were the top three popular kids in the school? Their presence demanded respect from everyone even their teachers and counselors? They were rich and popular and didn't take crap from anyone and so everyone wanted to be them? I'm still at a loss as to why these characters are so likable.
I just couldn't connect to any of them. And the author really didn't develop the relationships between these three to the depth that are so loyal just to each other. They are all immoral and sleep around with whomever they want, and they get drunk and hang out at the diner together so they can dis and be rude to other students who aren't as cool as they are. Are we supposed to feel sorry for Sheldon because her parents don't care about her, because they are selfish and down right pathetic? Sheldon still has a choice of who she wants to be and how she choses to behave and conduct her life and frankly her choices in this story are self centered and lacking in anything remotely positive or uplifting. She drinks, sleeps, eats, has sex and is down right mean to everyone except her two friends and a teacher. What kind of adult is she going to be? Our Character is defined by these moments in our life where we are challenged and when we struggle with what life throws at us. Sheldon chooses to wallow in alcohol and sex to numb her feelings and to not face her problems in life. WEll, I'm pretty certain Sheldon's not the only person who has these trials in life. Everyone in the world over deals with challenges and struggles through trials in life. And each person has the freedom to choose how they are going to deal, cope or overcome them. Sheldon is so self absorbed and shallow that I absolutely hated her character. She got no sympathy from me. And I can't begin to describe my feelings for the two loser deadbeats Corrigan and Bryce. I am dumbfounded at all the comments from readers can't wait to find out who ends up with who. Is this what society is coming to? What happened to holding in high regard people who were honest, loyal, moral, compassionate, kind, unselfish and intelligent and hard working?? how about a story of friends when faced with such hardships in life they persevere and make something good of themselves and others that they associate with.
This book is a story about a bunch of messed up kids with messed up lives who want to ditch taking responsibility for any of their actions, they want to blame it on their crappy home life or parents divorcing or what ever sad story they have had to deal with. Get over it. That's life. That doesn't mean you have to be some mean, shallow stuck up brat that gets to be disrespectful to adults and authority and try to cheat dealing with life's challenges by getting drunk and using sex.
I don't like to start a story and not finish so I did finish this book, but can honestly say I felt totally depressed and disgusted when I was done. Whether she ends up with Corrigan or Bryce who cares they are all a bunch of empty people who only care about themselves. Waste of time.

This book failed on comparison to fallen crest high by a long shot. Where the characters in fallen crest were tough and loyal, these characters were just downright a awful. I rat ed this book a 2/5 because I couldn't connect with the characters at all. Sheldons parents weren't there for her, but that doesn't give her the right to act the way she does. After reading fallen crest, I had high hopes for this book, and it did not meet my expectations.

Another start to what I'm sure is another amazing series by Tijan.
Sheldon, Bryce and Corrigan are all best friends. They rule their school and let no one into their group, yes they have other friends and people they hang with, but ultimately it's them against the world. Which is becoming more and more dangerous. Someone is killing people from their school and when a pattern emerges it looks to be someone who is obsessed with Sheldon and is getting closer.
I love Tijan's books. She always writes these strong willed, amazing characters who, at times are...abrasive...but so hard not to love. Sheldon, Bryce, and Corrigan are no different. They, all three, can be jerks, but they have this strong amazing bond that just keeps you wanting to read more, see how it changes and grows... So far an amazing start to the series.

Few authors really surprise me anymore but this author and this book did just that. Some people will love Jaded and others will hate it but as far as I'm concerned, I think it's brilliant...not in a Pulitzer Prize sort of way but brilliant nonetheless. The relationships in this book are so insanely dysfunctional and yet they are firmly cemented in family, loyalty and love...so bizarre. The author has such a unique way of writing her characters that they practically pop right off the page and the dialogue between them is incredibly well written - it's witty, sarcastic and sheer genius. I can't even fathom how the author thinks up some of the conversations that the main characters, Sheldon, Bryce and Corrigan have or how they interact with each other and their friends and family.
This is my third book by Tijan and I will continue to read everything she publishes. I love her style and how this story is loaded with the right ingredients - action, bad boys, alpha males, romance, sex, suspense, humor and a kick a*s heroine. Like I said earlier, some people will love it and others will hate it but it is definitely one of my favorite books so far this year. I am really looking forward to the next installment of Jaded - it can't come soon enough.

I really enjoyed something different from tijan, this isn't like her other series, there was drama, but there was a big bang that I never saw coming! I never expected the killer to be who it was and why he did it. The characters are bond by friendship, family and loyalty to each other and noone can come between them. There is alot of mystery in this book. Read it it's different from the rest.

This book was a Hoot !!!! The teenagers in this is just plain crazy ;p !! I love the spunky, bitchy side of Sheldon. I couldn't put this down . The murders in the book reminded me of who did it like in clue ... I never even seen that ending coming !!!!! a Must read !!! I would have rated this way higher if I could have !!!!!! Ty Tijan for an awesome read !!!

What an intense, crazy, dark book. I absolutely LOVE this book! I love seeing how Sheldon deals with situations, and how she started blossoming towards the end of the book. I can’t wait and see what happens in the next book!! I absolutely love Tijan's writing style and cannot wait to read more of her books!

Sheldon, Bryce, and Corrigan are best friends and seniors in high school. They pretty much do what they want, until a murderer hits their town. Somehow Sheldon gets wrapped up in it all. Bryce and Corrigan do their best to protect her, but they start doubting each other as the murderer gets closer. This book wasn't my favorite from Tijan, but I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Well I love everything Tijan puts on paper and this another stunner. She amazes me as all her books have twists and turns and they get right under your skin. In other words I loved this one too. Another must read.

Pretty damn good. I had forgotten about what I read the story was about but after finishing the sample it drew me in. And the ending was a twist I didn't predict. And it flowed rather well. The trio I actually really liked. Especially Sheldon, her standoffish bitchy, attitude was perfect. Quick read and steamy moments between Sheldon and Bryce

I purchased this book directly from the author and really enjoyed it. I've read her other works and this author is very consistently good! I really like her heroines because they are strong and vulnerable without being a doormat. And the guys r yummy. If you enjoyed this book, read Fallen Crest High.
