Broken and Screwed 2 (The BS Series)

Finally!!!!! If you read the first book Broken and Screwed and wasn't quite satisfied or left confused as I was I can tell you that Tijan definitely made up for it in this one! Jesse redeemed himself in this book and I think Alex finally found some awesome friends! Just what this poor girl needed! Now that I have read Broken and Screwed 2 it is apparent that the first book was just half of their love story. Read, read and read it again :-) I am a very happy and satisfied reader after this book :-)

This book was absolutely amazing. Tijan has done it again, another wonderful story. I have to say that I loved all the characters in this story, bitches, manwhores and moody, horney and crazy. Tijan has found a way to make them work. There are several twist and turns and made you feel every emotion several times over. Looking forward to book 3.

I read this book in one sitting. The next evening I read it again, it is that good. Alex and Jesse have an incredible love. I wish there would be one more book, even a novella. Please read, you will not be disappointed?

I've just started reading Tijan books, she tells stories you feel part of. When I feel this I know this is a author I will be reading for a long time. This story of Jesse and Alex was a wonderful love story of hurt learning to trust and in the end true love.

I was highly anticipating this sequel, and am so glad that it did not disappoint as so many have lately. I loved the introduction of the characters from Braille and hope we get so see Jesse and Alex in the Braille books. I wish I could have given this book 4 1/2 stars. I would have given it 5 stars, but there were a few minor issues for me. *spoilers* Do not read ahead if you have not read the book...first off, Jesse should not have kept that secret from Alex. I understand why he kept it a secret in the beginning, but when it became clear that Alex was leaving due to him not telling the secret, Alex should have won out. The other thing is that if Ethan had had no contact with Claire since early in the pregnancy, and he died before the baby was born, how did he have a name for his beneficiary for the will? I know that Claire said they had discussed naming the baby after Alex, but did they discuss the changed spelling of the middle name? And even if they had, since Claire had told Ethan not to contact her again after Ethan's Dad stepped in, could Ethan really assume she would still haved named the baby after his sister? I know I am nitpicking here, but this is why I really wish I could have given 4 1/2 stars, because I know this is minor. Outside of these small issues for me, the book was fantastic and I read it straight through without putting it down. I also hope for a Cole to have his own book and maybe one for Hannah and one for Beth too. Thanks Tijan for another great read. Can't wait for Braille!

I really enjoy this author. The book was good. But your built up for the huge secret so you're waiting on this big bomb to drop and then it drops and it's like a small fire cracker that duds. She whines...a lot. The concept is great but I bought second book for the oh so huge secret and was highly disappointed.

I have been waiting in anticipation for Broken and Screwed 2 ! And it did not disappoint the story flows perfectly into the 2 book , I loved the mystery in this book trying to figure out what Ethans story was , and boy is it a good one . All the characters in this book are brilliantly written .
What a Stunning book !!!

The Sheer Awesomeness of Tijan’s Writing:
5 stars. My heart is bursting. I’m not sure which emotions are even bubbling over the top: love, happiness, hurt, sadness, or lust. I seriously could not put this book down. The writing style and voice Tijan uses is pure perfection. The emotional depths she takes the reader to is amazing. Pure genius.

The Continuation of Jesse and Alex’s Romance:
In book 2 I found that Jesse wasn’t as closed off as I had originally thought. However, I had those thoughts initially because the story was told in Alex’s POV. She didn’t know he loved her, and it took a long time for her to see that. She is so broken, and so very real. I loved her even though I was so sad for her. Jesse is actually pretty straight forward and never wavered with his feelings for Alex. That surprised me, but looking back now I see it.

The chemistry is amazing. Plain and simple. I lol’d a lot because Jesse was so open about being horny for Alex. He was not ashamed or shy about just wanting to screw. But it was more than that, and the love these two share is truly epic.

The Story:
B&S2 continued the journey of Alexandra working through her grief of losing her brother Ethan, as well as the abandonment by her parents. Jesse is there every step of the way because he and Alex can’t stay away from each other. They both keep secrets because they fear that the truth will destroy them. I loved watching the walls come down for both Alex and Jesse as they let each other in. It was so very moving.

Final Thoughts:
It wrapped up well, and in all honestly I’m not sure if the next book continues with Jesse and Alex’s story or not. I kind of see it as being finished. One tiny thing: I do wish I had gotten one more, little stronger declaration of love. But then again, that wasn’t the style of Jesse and Alex so maybe I’m being greedy. I loved it so much, regardless.

I’d rec this book a million times over. Phenomenal!

I truly enjoyed the first book in this series, however, this book 2 was a bit anti climatic. We did get to discover that Jesse has a heart and the two of them were able to work things out in the end.

Tijan never disappoints you. Bs 2 was great Love jess and Alex store the ups and downs are real. Sad to see it go but excited form the third part and bri and Luke :). I would so tell people to read this book and all her other ones. This series and her others are book u and read and reread over and over.

Omg I swear Tijan wrote this so wonderfully even I was feeling Ethans presence when I was done. I laughed and cried and even cussed a few characters out along the way. This book is amazingly written and keeps you hungry for more. I stayed up till 7:30 am just to figure out what would happen next. I love you Tijan and please keep doing what you do. Amazing work of art like I said. I loved every character. Even the bitchy ones. Not the parents though.

I have absolutely loved this author from beginning yet she amazes me with each book comes out. I love the story behind Alex and Jesse. I am heartbroken over the loss of her brother because I have been dealing with the same. She describes it perfectly because some days are better than others . I don't want this book to ever end!! Can't wait to next one no matter what I will always purchase any book by her

HOLY CRUD! THIS SEQUEL EASILY SURPASSED BOOK ONE! IT WAS AMAZING, EMOTIONAL AND SAD! IT GAVE YOU THE INFO YOU WERE SO DESPERATELY NEEDING WITH BOOK ONE'S CLIFFY. I AM ONLY HOPING THERE WILL BE A BOOK THREE, BECAUSE I HAVE SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS FOR THIS BOOK!

Tijan has become one of my favorite authors. Her characters are interesting not your everyday kind of romance. And that's what keeps me interested. I love how in this story her main characters finally started to grow and I love the strength Alex is finally starting to show.

I loved book 2, right from the beginning. I loved not only the main characters, Jesse and Alex but also their new friends as well. I liked how Alex got her power back and wasn't taking crap from others. Can't wait for the next instalment.

It's intense and very complicated.  Jesse is so much more than I gave him credit for.  He & Alex don't have it easy... add in all the other crazy personalities and you have a total circus add the parents and you have a disaster.  It keeps you on your toes!

I would honestly suggest just reading this book and skipping the first book to this series entirely. This book was a tremendous comeback from the first one. The first book was horrible in my opinion. Because of this book i can't wait till the third book. Nice comeback Tijan. ;)

At first I was kinda hesitant about reading this book because I really didn't enjoy the first one. The first book seemed too immature and childish. And Jesse was such a dick. SO MUCH CHANGES IN THIS BOOK. READ IT. Jesse changes so much. I loved this book. They're gone to college and are much more mature. I mean there is some drama with friends but not too stupid like the first book. I fell in love with Jesse in this book!! It's worth buying

Can not say enough about this series!! Love all of the characters.....well except Tiffany. I don't think she has redeemed herself. It would be really hard to trust her. Still could not put the book down. Fantastic job!! Fantastic story!!!

Now this is a book worth reading. Freaking awesome ending! Love it! Worth every minute of my time. Her parents are douchebags. You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family. Those words are so true!

It was okay. I'm finally relieved to discover the secrets but I'm not too enthused about the grammatical errors. Neither am i happy that the dialogue between characters got confused with text messages. I hardly picked up the differences.

Loved every page of Broken and Screwed 1 & 2!!!!! In book 1 there are soo many questions left & book 2 has all the answers...What an emotional roller coaster these books were!! Loved Alex & Jesse!!

This was the first Tijan book I purchased and read (out of order of course) but it sure wasn't my last. This author's writing is addictive! And it's different--she has a unique and distinctive voice.

As always, another excellent read by Tijan!!! Picks up where the first book left off. I'm usually not happy with the second of a series, but this one is just as intriguing as #1. Mysterious, sexy, funny, and Tijan.
